A slice of heaven….4 adults were blessed to stay at Ca L’ivia at the beginning of October. We never tired of the jaw-dropping gorgeous view. Check in was easy and the owner and housekeeper were wonderful. We had everything we needed to eat in, which we did every day for breakfast. The elevator takes you from the street to the bedrooms, cucina and salon. The garden gate brings you directly on to the lover’s walk with a short trip to either the ferry in one direction or the piazza in the other. We were the envy of others who watched us enter and exit our “private gate.” As we sadly left Varenna, we took with us warm wonderful memories of our time at the villa and the most wonderful people we met during our week.

The setting of Casa Cattaneo is so very beautiful The light is exceptional making the sunrise and sunsets something to look forward to every day. The house is a beautiful example of modernism at its finest. Whilst some amenities are less comfortable today the house offers an exceptional way to experience the local setting exceptional view of lake Maggiore and the culinary delights of the area.

With a group of ten people we had a fantastic stay at the beautiful authentic villa. The house has all the comforts and clean. Cristina is a super host who was available for questions both before and during the stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ceasar and neighbor Timo was always available for questions. The only point of attention is that you are awakened every morning at 7 a.m. by the bells of the (also beautiful) church next to the villa. On Sunday morning, however, there was a beautiful church song opposite, which we enjoyed from the lovely swimming pool.

Elisabetta's house is perfect for family gatherings! With 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, each family had room to grow. The location is perfect for visiting the surroundings, including Bellagio and Como. The welcome from our host was perfect, Elisabetta is very responsive if we need anything. Don't hesitate to go there!

We were 8 friends staying in this fabulous villa to discover Milan. Located 30 minutes from Milan and 30 minutes from Lake Como, it was the right compromise for us, if you have a vehicle. The accommodation was as pictured, perfectly as described. The instructions were very well explained for self-check-in, very easy to access. Parking is available in the underground garage. The interior is very spacious, ideal for large groups/families. The house was clean and all the amenities listed were present and functional. The setting is very peaceful, no noise from the neighborhood, very little traffic on the road, with the park in front of the house. And the hosts were very responsive by message for any questions. Thank you for the easy access, this beautiful well-maintained house, for your responsiveness and kindness. And for all these reasons mentioned, I highly recommend this listing. From April 11 to April 15, I had the pleasure of hosting about 25 family and friends to celebrate the recent nuptials of my husband and me. Giuseppe was absolutely incredible—not only before our arrival with thoughtful recommendations on restaurants, travel, local activities, and getting around—but also once we met him in person. He was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The two villas are located right next to each other and are simply stunning. The photos on Airbnb don’t do them justice. It truly felt like something out of a fairytale—from walking down the steps and taking in the breathtaking view of the lake, to the peaceful breeze and serene atmosphere, everything was just magical. If you’re planning a trip with a small or large group, I highly recommend staying at this Airbnb. If you need even more space, Margaritaville is just up the road and within walking distance—it was also fantastic. Italy was a dream I still can’t fully put into words, and this trip was unforgettabl

Strongly recommend. I would go again and again. The host is very helpful. We asked her loads of questions and requests and she was very responsive. I think she is one of the best hosts I have ever met. The house is a dream comes true; The views, the swimming pool and the inside of the house. Just rent a samll car as going up to the house can be challenging with bigger cars.

Beautiful view! The house looked the same as the pictures. Daniel was an excellent host and very responsive! I would only say if you have a lot of heavy luggage this would not be the place for you. The walkway to get to the house is VERY steep. And was even more dangerous when wet. The town was very cute but limited. I definitely recommend buying some groceries before you arrive. Overall it was a beautiful house and we loved our stay!

We were two families that met to spend New Year’s on Lake Como. We could not have asked for a more beautiful place! The bedrooms were spacious and private, plenty of bathrooms, well appointed. The kitchen was great - we cooked our own NYE dinner! But best of all was our panoramic view of the fireworks as we welcomed in 2025 from the penthouse 4th floor! Thanks for being such great hosts!!

Carlotta and Guilia were incredible AirBNB hostesses!! I loved Villa Maria Laura from the listing photos, but it was even more breathtaking in person. I had asked if the Villa could accommodate my wedding proposal, and they went above and beyond helping me accomplish exactly the proposal I’d envisioned by providing early check-in, ease of access for my photographer etc, and an amazing private dinner. Even after the engagement, the stay at Villa Maria Laura was magical. Guilia came each morning to bring us fresh pastries and was always available through text whenever we needed anything. We loved it so much, we want to come back for our honeymoon too! Thank you so so much for the best AirBNB we have ever stayed in! This villa and its two lovely hostesses will always be in our hearts and memories ❤️

We spent 4 nights in Valerio's home. The house is very large , we were 2 families, so the two independent accommodations were very convenient. The house is close to the center of Cernobbio 10 minutes walk. Charming village . It's easy to take the boat to visit the towns around the lake. The view from the house is nice. Small downside for parking: we had a 9-seater vehicle and it was very difficult to get into the driveway (narrow gate width) and turn around. Another thing to review: many broken furniture: the sofa bed in the living room has one foot less and was held with a stack of books, also broken bed slats and chairs too. Outdoor furniture would have been nice because you had to take the table out of the inside to put it outside. As well as a few outdoor chairs to enjoy the park and the shade would be more. We recommend this property for a stay in Como

Great location, beautiful little town, loved our time there.

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

I booked the full villa with some colleagues and we had a lot of fun. The kitchen is big and with a lot of space, garden and pool are great for children and adults

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

Fantastic location to enjoy the como beaches and activities and restaurants and town of Colico Villa itself is fantastic to relax with great outdoor seating and pool area (which was lovely to cool off from the sun but still a nice ~20/22 degrees)

Truly the best Airbnb experience! The view was unmatched and the place was perfect. Well stocked, comfortable, clean, and easy to feel right at home. Marcus was also an incredible host. He was always responsive, gave us personal recommendations and went above and beyond with helping us curate the perfect experience for our trip. Simply stunning, perfect for our friend's stag do ahead of his wedding also in Como (Laglio). A highly recommended place for medium to large groups.
