Mano a Mano was a nice place to spend some time. It's in a nice spot on the beach, clean, very good food, good security, friendly staff, quiet at night. There are plenty of things to do in the area, and other bars and restaraunts near by.

We loooved it here! Was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. It‘s a very calm place and not much going on at the accommodation which was good for us as we enjoyed recovering from the day trips here. The staff was so kind and helpful. It takes 15-20mins to walk to the city center but we always felt safe walking even in the dark so it wasnt a problem.

Clean. Comfy. Amenities as described. GREAT LOCATION! More people should stay and explore Esteli. Mario, the night concierge, is a beautiful person and will help you find what you are looking for. Luisa, that day concierge, is sweet and so polite. Lovely person. Recommend and would definitely return. Enjoy!!!!

Mano a Mano was exceptional accommodation! the other people at the hostel were amazing!, food was exceptional, sunset views beyond description! had the time of my life and will go back for sure!!!

Great hostel, super clean and nice rooms. Appreciated the air conditioning and the plunge pool helped keep cool. Breakfasts were good as were kitchen facilities. Security taken seriously and there is a nice vibe as it's a smaller hostel and easy to get to know other guests. Nice places to lounge around and staff were helpful

We were in Leon with our 2 children and the hostel was one of the best for us - so good that we went back there for a few days. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, the free, delicious breakfast is a great plus and the small pool for children is perfect. Everything is sparkling clean and the common areas are very spacious. The pool table, the many hammocks and the large bookshelf as well as the many games were great. We can definitely recommend it!

Our group of 12 (3 children) and adults really enjoyed our time at Jake’s! We spent the early morning in the center of Leon and then headed that way closer to check - in. Place was easy to find (if you are not from Nicaragua) we recommend you use location app Waze because Jakes place is marked there for easy find. The place is very clean and rooms offer all comforts- each have their own bathrooms and AC. The poo was perfect for the children and the place offers plenty outdoor showers to wash off the sand. There is a kitchenette attached to a bedroom (if you are renting the whole space) and a full kitchen for your use. They offer recommendations for restaurants but Ana, one of their staff, who we absolutely adored and was so nice and on it, ended up cooking for us. Breakfast was delicious and we wish we could have stayed for more than one night, but due to our schedule we were not able to. Access to water is phenomenal and almost flat with no rocks

Nice place ! Quiet and calm, a little oasis in Leon. The pool is an absolut must !

We felt very comfortable in the hostel. Everyone is super friendly and there was a delicious breakfast every morning. We particularly liked the small outdoor gym with a great view and the small pool :) The hostel is located on a quiet street. It was less than a 10-minute walk to the central square and several supermarkets are also within walking distance. If we are in León again, we will be happy to come back here :)

Had such a great time with Jake and Darren, Darren was nice with our dog and to us. Would def come back as much as I can!

Somar Surf lodge was a great place to relax. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice as well. They don’t provide drinking water so you have to buy it from them. The food was excellent and we had to rely on their kitchen because there is no other services anywhere close by. So it’s a great place to go and enjoy just being there. It’s right in front of the ocean. The room had great big screen windows so you could feel the breeze of the ocean. It also had air conditioning if there’s no breeze. The room we stayed in was fine, but it was different from what was pictured in AirBNB, which had an open air bathroom while the one we stayed in was enclosed by a roof and that was fine.. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner as well. And the swimming pool was a great option.
