A beautiful home in a wonderful eco-estate tucked away in a quiet corner of the Knysna lagoon. Friendly and responsive host. Would recommend to anyone.

The place is really beautiful, we immediately felt comfortable. The view was breathtaking, everything was very clean and everything you needed and was given was available. Communication was also great! We will be happy to come back!

Knysna Moons exceeded our expectations! The house was pristine, equipped with high-end amenities. Our stay was incredible! Being so close to all the kids' activity spots made our trip hassle-free and enjoyable. The house provides a comfortable relaxing space and is perfectly located close to a range of entertaining activities. Jacques was exceptional, more than accommodating and ensured a seamless, comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

we had such a lovely stay at Samantha’s place. pictures truly don’t do justice to what the house actually looks like. it’s incredibly stunning, the area is so tranquil & private and her space feels like a home away from home. additionally, Sam was such an amazing host, communicated well throughout, answered any questions we had with urgency & ensured our check-in was as seamless as possible. thank you so much, Sam! :)

Franco was an absolutely wonderful host. He was happy to answer all questions and queries. The house was beautiful and clean. The rooms are lovely and spacious. It is perfect for a group of friends looking for a good holiday. We had a lot of fun playing pool and darts. The pool jacuzzi was the perfect way to cool off. We enjoyed every moment and hope to be back.

Superb location within walking distance of the waterfront and town centre. The house has ample space for 6 people and all the amenities you’ll need. We loved being right on the water. Michael is a very attentive host and made sure we were comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

A group of 10 of us filled the house for the Knysna marathon weekend. Ettienne went above and beyond when the minicupality cut off water and quickly switched to backup tanks. The house is great value and the perfect space for any get together, whether braaing, playing board games or watching sports. We will certainly book the house for another weekend away if we get the chance.

We simply loved our stay. Jimmy gave us a warm welcome and recommended the fisherman's walk, which was indeed fantastic. The appartment is huge and in a very quiet area. We would definetly come back.

We always enjoy staying at Thesen Island, especially during the Knysna Oyster Festival when the rest of the town is so busy yet Thesen feels so peaceful. This house was stunning. Very modern furniture and the fireplace warmed us up in the cold weather. The canoes were a fun treat for the kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Jessica’s house in Knysna. It is rare to find somewhere exactly as described in such a peaceful and beautiful location. After two weeks of travelling it was wonderful to have the comfort, space and privacy to relax. The house and gardens are pristine. Jessica was very responsive and helpful, on hand if you needed her but respectful of your privacy. We are already missing the blue skies and views!

We loved staying at Suné’s place. It was large and spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. Our kids enjoyed the pool. The playground, bike tracks and tennis courts were such a hit. So peaceful and beautiful, perfect for family time. Especially the walk over the canals every morning to get out coffee and bread from the local bakery.

What an amazing place you have Cally! Thank you for allowing us into your lovely home in Knysna. Situated on Thesen Island, the home is ideally located- close to all amenities. One thing to note is that if you plan to visit in winter, the house is rather cold. Cally was very helpful in switching on the under floor heating, which- after a little while warmed up the place nicely!

We had a wonderful time and the kids loved it. Such a beautiful placed! We felt like we were in heaven staying there. We will definitely be back again and will recommend this place to others as well.

Catherine’s home exceeded my expectations, and already from the description, I expected something special. As hosts, Catherine and her husband give you a professional 5+* experience without any hint of interference. I initiated a personal introduction myself and they responded happily. The home is incredible: the location, the views and everything you may need inside for a comfortable, 5* quality stay ; quiet and private; elegantly decorated. The big thing for me was good WiFi and no power disruption for work, and I couldn’t have been better set up than Catherine’s home. All in all, highly recommended and certainly now in my list to return.

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage is well equipped and has the most beautiful views of the Lagoon and Ocean.

Cath was an excellent host. My family and I enjoyed staying at their beautiful home on Thesen island. The home was sparkling clean and it was bigger than the pictures suggested. Cath left detailed instructions on check in and even arranged for someone to receive us at the security gate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Catherine’s home.

Nicky was outside to meet us when we arrived. She kept us hydrated with fresh filtered water. The house is spacios and comfortable. We were so happy about the dishwasher
