Cabin vacation rentals in Leelanau County

It ended up just being my husband and I and it was wonderful. We wished we'd been able to stay longer. The hot tub was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable.

The house and setting are absolutely beautiful. We had originally planned to spend our days in one of the various close by towns, but we ended up spending a lot of time at the house because it was just so peaceful, private and relaxing. We went in the winter and the outdoor hottub and the indoor fireplace made for a great stay. We are excited to stay again during another season as it would be a different but equally amazing experience. John and Kelly are the most helpful and friendly hosts we have ever rented from and are quick to respond to any communication. We can't recommend the Shady Eighty highly enough.

We had an absolutely wonderful and perfect stay at Kelsey's place. She was so accommodating and helpful. The place was ready upon our arrival; very clean! The lake view was absolutely gorgeous!!! Easy to use hot tub instructions was a great way to end our daily hikes! Lots and lots of hikes around, even during the winter time! Relatively close to downtown traverse city if you want a change of scenery! Overall, would definitely go back and we had a great stay

Darren's cabin is exceptional! Everything is as shown, but so much better in real life. the cabin is beautiful, well appointed, and comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful, unbeatable views of Lake Michigan. it was the perfect place to spend a holiday weekend with beloved family, playing games in front of the fireplace. Darren was a responsive, kind and accommodating host. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it.

This was a great place to stay! So close to so many wineries that it made our trip very easy. Highly recommend.

This location was extremely peaceful and exactly what we needed to focus on our relationship and nothing else. Room only for 2 people comfortably. It was a 25 minute drive from boat launch so car rental is strongly suggested. Beaver Island is perfect to just slow down your pace for a few days!

Downtown is a 2-3 minute drive away. You can walk to the end of the street to a beachfront park. Really nice spot, would visit again for sure.

The lake cabin was ideally located near Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and other Traverse area fun. The hosts had many great local recommendations which was greatly appreciated. Being right across the street from The Heritage Trail was convenient to start bike rides and for dog walking.

We had a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing stay here. The home was clean and cozy, and we felt right at home. Being right on a lake was such a treat, especially with a nice deck and chairs and a fire pit. It faces north, and I imagine if the northern lights are active, you’d be able to see them beautifully. But we were treated to gorgeous, clear night skies. There are other homes/cabins right next door, just as a note. We enjoyed our stay and loved exploring the area. We can’t wait to come back!

This listing is as described. Loved the easy access to the lake, the sandy lake bed, and beautiful view of the sunsets. Close to other bnbs in the area so you will see others staying and enjoying the lake near you, but did not detract from the enjoyment of the bnb and the area. There are two bedrooms with a bathroom in the middle of them, so best for families or two couples. The fans and tvs in the bedrooms were appreciated. Location is a perfect middle area between Glen Arbor, Leland, and Suttons Bay. Many options for things to do. The only downside is there was no laundry options at or nearby the bnb.

Janet is incredible. She was always responsive when our group had any questions. She made the bachelor party that much better. I would recommend her as a great host.

Heidi and Joachim do a great job. We love their cottage and it's always spotless for us. Heidi is sweet and open and we have no worries when we go to visit them.
