Our stay was absolutely magical! The cottage was impeccably maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The cozy fireplace quickly became our favorite spot to relax, especially with the festive charm of the beautiful Christmas decorations. It truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to returning!

I can't say enough about how great this spot is! The host is kind, the space is cozy, the rooms are comfortable, and the chickens are cute! It's a perfect weekend getaway. And if you're nice, they have some homebrewed beer that you can buy!

Beautiful, neat place in a beautiful setting. Such amazing, peaceful views. My toddler loved the kids' room to play in. Very comfy beds and excellent water pressure. The place is tri-level though so not ideal for mobility-compromised. Supermarket is a 5-minute walk only! Such a great place!

We had a phenomenal time at this stunning lakeside retreat. While it looks like a perfect summer getaway—serene, spacious, and incredibly private—its winter beauty is just as remarkable. Watching the sunrise over the frozen lake is a breathtaking experience, and the hot tub adds the perfect touch, making it unforgettable to soak in the warmth while surrounded by crisp winter air. Our February stay exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it year-round. Richard was an excellent host—responsive, honest, and ensuring the place was immaculate upon arrival. If you’re looking for a peaceful yet memorable escape, this is the place to be.

Dave was a great host and had such a great place to stay! Even though it was a bit snowy the views were still incredible, and it was very easy to navigate setting up the fire to stay cozy in the house. Will definitely be staying again!

Alison was the best host--incredibly helpful, available and communicative. She handled every question with speed and kindness. The place was just lovely, cute, spotless and filled with every amenity you can think of. It really was like being at home. Our dogs had the best time frolicking in the snow while the hubs and I just chilled with great food, music and Netflix while we enjoyed the gorgeous views. So many beautiful birds, cute chipmunks and even deer. It was just the getaway we needed. Will definitely need to come back in the summer! Couldn't have asked for more.

This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

A lovely winter getaway! We loved the hot tub and skating on the lake. Heaters throughout the cottage made for a toasty visit, even in the cold of January.
