Cottage vacation rentals in Leeds and Grenville United Counties

Our group stay at was amazing! The place was very clean, had all necessary utensils and more in the kitchen, and the place looked amazing. Sean was very proactive with making sure our stay was perfect, going to the lengths of getting a snow plow and sander over so that all of our vehicles could make it to the driveway. Furthermore, the cottage had an amazing view and sunrise, where you can see the sunrise either sitting in the warmth of the basement or by the fire & hot tub. The group went over to Mont Ste Marie for a ski-ing day and had an amazing weekend!

Our stay at the Blue Fox Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Eric and Matt were thoughtful hosts and provided all the info we needed. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic, and the cottage had everything we could ask for. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a comfortable, charming retreat. Looking forward to coming back again, Inshallah!

Girls weekend here was fantastic! Very comfortable and clean cottage. Beautiful views. Love the large deck, enclosed porch and big kitchen. Would definitely book again.

We had a great family week away at David’s place and as a host he was super helpful. The view from the window/hot-tub/deck was fantastic, shame we could not bring it home with us! The weather was not great for the week, meaning limited time on the lake. We did manage a day on a hired boat, the other days we went on day trips to local towns and Ottawa by train from Brockville. We also did a city cruise of 1000 islands and attended the annual 1000 islands rib fest. The house was well equipped with all we needed for a great family stay and a relaxing week. For a BBQ recommend a trip to “The Butcher Shop”.

We loved our stay with our family and four legged friends! Great location close to our family and easy travel to Elgin for food and Westport for shops and Brewery!

what a beautiful place!! beautiful view, very quiet, very private, comfortable bed, plenty of coffees & tees! my dog played with their doggie. very friendly kind people. we enjoyed walking on frozen lake, making fire in the snow. we definitely wanna visit in summer time!

Had a wonderful stay with our pet at Pineview Cottage. Valarie is a very friendly host who greeted us on arrival. Very clear instructions for check-in details of the cottage was sent in advance - cottage matched the pics. She also had some useful tips for us about sites in the area. Chaffey's Lock is beautiful & peaceful place and we had a very comfortable stay at Valarie's. Will certainly stay at her cottage again if we are in the area.

A fantastic cottage in a beautiful, private location. The place has everything you need. It also offers a chance to get away and unwind — with plenty of space for friends and family to join. Westport is just down the road and worth a visit, especially the brewery. Yvonne is also a conscientious and responsive host, so you’ll be in good hands. Great host, great stay!

Lovely cottage on lake Mississipi that was perfect for 4 people and our puppies. Wonderful communication and easy check in and out process. Good distance from Carleton which has access to all you need. cozy stay.

We had a great weekend stay at the cottage! Cam and Karley were super responsive, and accommodating of us for early check in and late check out. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen basics, and super clean and cute! As described, the main house is also closeby on the property, but we were left with full peaceful privacy the entire time. There are some beautiful walking trails in the area, including the South Frontenac just a ten minute walk down the main road. We appreciated the binder of local recommendations, as well as how pet-friendly it is, with a dog bed available and even a towel and poop bags by the door. Because it’s a beautifully wooded area, on the rainy days we did need to be vigilant to pick ticks off the dog, but we appreciated that the cottage was equipped with a tick removal kit in case we needed it, and we didn’t encounter any when it was nice out. If we hadn’t had a dog with us, we wouldn’t have noticed a thing because we were never finding them on ourselves!

We had an absolutely lovely time at Longview! Herman was very responsive to our inquiries and the place is much nicer than it looks in the photos. The composting toilet works a treat. Cold water pressure in the kitchen was weak while we were there but we made do. Our dog Lucie loved it so much she didn’t want to leave!

The space was very clean, from the kitchen to the windows, and the beds were very comfortable! Check-in and check-out were very easy and the location is excellent. We went in winter, and it was a delightful weekend. I believe in summer it would be even more fun! I recommend it and hope to return when winter passes! :)

We just loved Hanna’s place! The cottage was exactly as pictured. The kids loved the standup paddle boards and the grandkids loved swimming in the crystal clear water off the dock - yes - in September! We even caught a fair sized bass - right off the dock. We spent a lot of time kayaking the lovely and serene lake. Thanks Hanna for the great experience and the very thoughtful touches everywhere. You have thought of everything 😀. The screened in porch was magical and we enjoyed eating there. We will definitely be back!

This place is simply magical. So much attention to detail and not just Indoors about also in the outdoor space. The home is cozy and the sunsets are divine. My family stayed there for Easter and played games, threw the football around, and fed the goats. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend (and I’ve stayed in.a lot of airbnbs internationally). Even if you are local to Ottawa, you will feel as though you have taken a vacation at this space!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming wood cottage with our family & friends —including a kid, an infant, and a pet! The space was cozy, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s not always easy to find places that are both family- and pet-friendly, so this was a real gem. The surroundings were serene, and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of board games for kids, strong wifi everywhere in the chalet, well equipped kitchen, etc. Joy was an incredibly responsive and thoughtful host—she made sure we felt welcome and taken care of from start to finish. The cottage is located on a lovely bay - very close to the lakeside. It is very peaceful- listening to the call of the loons. Thank you very much to our friendly host for a great stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, with condiments, pots and pans, etc - nice barbecue on the deck.

A wonderful spot to relax and enjoy. The cottage is cozy and filled with all the little extras that make it feel welcoming. We enjoyed the campfire area many evenings and the smoker/BBQ every night! The covered sitting area was a great spot for meals and the hammock for lazy afternoon naps. The shoreline is a bit weedy but there is a raft further out for swimming.

We spent two fantastic weeks at Francois' cottage in the beautiful 1000 Islands. I was able to keep my Sea-Doo at the dock and explore the 1000 Islands, which was simply amazing. The cottage has pretty much everything you need for a pleasant stay, and it's not far from Rockport, which has a nice waterfront restaurant, or Gananoque or Brockville for groceries or general shopping. Francois was quick to respond to any messages I sent and we had no issues with the cottage whatsoever. We had such a great vacation we can't wait to go back next summer!

What an experience. Everybody should try this at least once! Renting your own private island made us feel like we were in a very private in exclusive place yet extremely close to things such as the boat ramp, restaurants, and other sights. You do need a boat of some sort, but that’s all part of the fun and experience! The house was well equipped uncomfortable. Swimming around the island was epic. It was a short 15 minute ride to get to sites such as bolt castle. There was also a great little restaurant in Rockport.
