We had an excellent stay at Ruth and Anton’s. They were both very friendly and helpful, and the place was exactly as advertised. We would definitely come back if we’re ever in the area again.

Had an absolutely fabulous week at Jane & Robin’s home. My wife, kids and I just didn’t want to leave. The home itself is full of warmth and peace. The garden is just fabulous with views of Lake Geneva and the mountains. I could spend weeks sitting there, sipping on wine and reading a book. The kids loved the massive trampoline and the stand up swimming pool. The whole house was extremely comfortable, lovely dining table kitchen, tv area and bedrooms. You definitely need a car and in any case anyone coming to the Montreux area should rent one. By car there are fabulous restaurants, cafes and supermarkets within 5 mins of the home. I definitely want to return to this piece of paradise - let me know when it’s available again, Robin and Jane!

Absolutely fantastic! Carole’s place is just perfect, sitting right in front of the lake, with the most stunning views. We were just minutes from the beach and the small ‘buvette’ which is open all day and serves great food. We were also right next to the village’s marina, lined with restaurants and terraces. The Coop grocery store and delicious bakery were just a 6 minute walk from our place. The apartment itself was really well appointed with the a modern kitchen, two modern bathrooms, a nice size living space with French doors to the balcony, for dinners al fresco looking at the view. Beautiful large bedroom facing the lake, comfortable bed and plenty of storage (closet/dresser). Carole welcomed us in person and gave us a tour of the whole place. She was extremely friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure running into her a few times during our stay since she lives in the same house. Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely come back!

We immediately felt at home. The house and the huge property exceed the description and the photos. Everything is there, everything works. The place is idyllic and quiet with beautiful views and a pleasant outdoor area, table and chairs in the shade of a tree, perfect for hot days. The home is ideal for people like us traveling with a big dog, because the property is completely fenced and offers outdoor space and shaded resting places. In a few minutes, you will be at the lake, where there are long beach walks. If you like, you can walk to the center of Lausanne. Our hosts were immediately available for any question, helpful and cordial. We would have liked to have stayed for longer and will definitely be back!

Short 2-night stay. Lovely cottage. Very clean. Well equipped. Nice bathroom with a bathtub. Comfortable bed. Generous amounts of linens. Beautiful location in the midst of nature. Enjoyed the rare quiet and stillness - what a treat! With afternoon nightfall I missed lights in the dining area and with below zero and single digit temps it was chilly in the open space living area despite using the mobile oil heater. I would be happy to return for another stay.

Carole is a warm and hospitable hostess as she flexibly scheduled an arrival time based on our air flight and welcomed us in person to show us our “home away from home.” Very convenient location in charming Lutry, situated on the shores of Lake Geneva. The 2nd floor of the home was spacious, private and very accommodating. Conveniently located with nearby bus stops, a market, and picturesque walkways along the lake. The overlooking balcony was our closing of most evening. Our sincere appreciation for your kindnesses.

Avo & Nathalie's apartment was very nice. Avo was very responsive and friendly. We had good communication at all times. The place was tidy and clean which is something we really appreciated during our short stay. The apartment is very comfortable and cozy for 4 people. The neighborhood is quiet and we were able to rest very well. Preferable and ideal to arrive by car to the apartment, about 10 min by car from the center of Lausanne. The price was fair! We were happy to stay in the apartment. I highly recommend it! 🤗
