Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lausanne District

We had a great holiday at Hélène's! We felt comfortable and there was space for every one. The jacuzzi was a great relaxation in the evening, after a long hike or mountain bike tour! The location of the cabin is wonderful for exploring the nature of Switzerland! Thank you for such a great time!

The stay at Airbnb was beautiful. Patrizia and Antonio have made the stay all the more worthwhile. Both are extremely sweet, attentive and helpful. We were picked up from Antonio's train station by car and also drove back into town if we wanted. We are vegan and they went out of their way to prepare a vegan breakfast for us every morning. The Airbnb is located directly on the forest and we were able to discover many mushrooms, soak up the sun and enjoy the view. A very relaxing and harmonious stay!

We were traveling with 3 kids in tow and we all felt like we were in a fairytale cabin. Gorgeous cabin, view, very thoughtful amenities. Everything you could want for a peaceful mountain getaway. Maria was so wonderful and responsive with all our questions. Would highly recommend for family holiday, cannot wait to return.

I enjoyed my stay here. The place was super clean, tidy and full furnished, and the host was super responsive. The location is also great, with a bus stop a few meters from the apartment. The city center is a 10 minutes walk from here. I would totally look for this place again if I am ever in Lausanne!

Very good stay. We knew the address for occupying it several times. Everything is impeccable. We just found the earbuds a little tired... But we'll be back for sure. It's valuable to have a parking spot even if you can shop on foot very easily. See you next time. Regards Jean-Louis

Very quiet place next to Lausanne center by walk

Laura was such a good host, she and her husband were super helpful and they even lend us a power adapter, because we forgot to bring one. From the apparent it’s a 10-15 Minute walk to see lake or to the vineyards .

One of the best AirBnbs, perhaps the best we have stayed in. From the friendly personal welcome we received to the spacious and comfortable accommodation to the wonderful view, this is a model of how to host. Kitchen is well equipped, large table for family meals, planning trips, or working if you have to. All with panoramic view! Mont Blanc in the distance on a sunny morning .. Locally we cycled by the lake (hired a tandem from bikesLab - excellent btw, recommended Swisstopo app) - beaches, nature reserves - this place is a haven. It rained (hard) one day, but that just freshened up the landscape and gave us the chance to visit the curious revelation of the local MuMAPS museum. Decent supermarkets in Sainte-Croix just down the road. It was hard to leave .. Gilles and family are such generous and warm people .. I am already thinking of excuses to return to Neuchatel area so we can stay again - for longer next time! Thank you!

Perfectly cleaned, which is rare and much appreciated! Useful welcome set of hand soap, dishwasher liquid, tabs and sponge, as well. Interhome's management of the apartment was great, everyone was friendly and helpful, despite a clearly busy holiday period. The apartment itself has a recently renovated bathroom and kitchen, the kitchen is well equipped with high quality appliances.

An amazing family stay in a bucolic setting! Host is very friendly and responsive! The amenities in the farmhouse are perfect, enough to rejoice young and old! I recommend 1000 times;)

We stayed here for a few nights with 4 people in August and loved this compact property. It is as small as described, but everything is very well thought out, and you have plenty of outside space to enjoy (including the swimming pool, for a modest extra fee). We chose to eat at the house nearly every meal, to enjoy the outside space and the view across the lake. The owners are very friendly with just the right amount of contact, and clearly work hard to maintain the property and grounds. Highly recommended.

The chalet is nicely furnished and spaceous. The views are incredible and the surroundings offer nice hikes (from easy to demanding). We will definitely consider to come back :D

Had an absolutely fabulous week at Jane & Robin’s home. My wife, kids and I just didn’t want to leave. The home itself is full of warmth and peace. The garden is just fabulous with views of Lake Geneva and the mountains. I could spend weeks sitting there, sipping on wine and reading a book. The kids loved the massive trampoline and the stand up swimming pool. The whole house was extremely comfortable, lovely dining table kitchen, tv area and bedrooms. You definitely need a car and in any case anyone coming to the Montreux area should rent one. By car there are fabulous restaurants, cafes and supermarkets within 5 mins of the home. I definitely want to return to this piece of paradise - let me know when it’s available again, Robin and Jane!

It had everything you needed! Such a convenient location to the vineyards, train station, and grocery stores. And an unbeatable view right from the backyard. Would definitely stay again!

Unexpected overnight stay with same day reservation in disaster. A big thank you to Corinne who very quickly confirmed the reservation and gave us plenty of useful information for a moonless night arrival in the rain. Corinne welcomed us even if the accommodation is self check-in, given the weather and despite the late hour. Thanks again to Corinne for tonight in this cozy and charming little nest furnished with taste. The lake view when waking up was another nice surprise. Everything is set up for a pleasant stay of longer duration. Nothing is missing for an unexpected fresh arrival (tea, coffee, etc...) . It's a favorite and we recommend this quiet place in a good location near the Riviera, the lake or the mountains.
