Vacation rentals with a kayak in Latin America

Great, private location in Homosassa. Easily walkable to McRae's, the Monkey Bar and a few other spots. The house is as described on AirBnB. It is spacious and comfortable. Susan is a great and quick responding host!

We had an amazing time. This place has everything you need for a great relaxing vacation. The host is very responsive. It is very clean and the pictures does not do it justice. It is more beautiful in person. Would highly recommend this place !

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

The area sustained 2 Hurricanes in the previous 3 months. The home was in surprisingly good shape. The home was well furnished throughout and pleasantly decorated. The exterior of the home needs some work, but did not affect our stay. The area is awash with no-see-ums. We all were constantly getting bit despite bug spray. There are 4 good double kayaks, paddles and life vests. There were not back rests for all 8 pisitions. The back rests that were present were not very good. There is room on the property for a sizeable camper with hookup (main reason we chose this spot). Weeki Watchee State park is near by. We spent probably close to 10 hours over 4 days (all combined during our 7 day stay) and only saw Manatees on one day. All in all, we had a really nice time. I honestly don't know if we'd stay in this immediate area again (mostly do to the no see ums). The hosts are very pleasant and responsive.

We were very happy to find this house. It was perfect for two couples. The best part was taking the provided kayaks out to seven sisters springs. Beautiful. There was also a canoe for those that don’t like kayaks.

We loved our stay! The house was super clean and the back patio was beautiful. We loved the back canal area and saw lots of very cool wildlife and enjoyed fishing right there. Having the kayaks to use was also great. Beds were very comfy and the rooms were spacious. The house had everything we needed. We loved the key colony area. The cabana club was a great space and the house is in walking distance to Sunset Beach, which was beautiful. The whole area is super close to fun things to do and great restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent house on a canal that leads to seven sister springs. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple meals. We saw an alligator off the back dock our first day and lots of turtles and fish each day. The house is within close distance to lots of fun activities-we swam with manatees and floated the rainbow river while there. There are multiple kayak outfitters within walking distance of the house so if you do not like sit in kayaks you have very close rental options.

AMAZING. Great hosts, great place! I stayed here by myself and it was heaven on earth. I am a nature lover and this exceeded my expectations. The house & the property are stunning. The house is a lovely mix of tasteful tropical & Victorian decor. The outside is like being in the garden of Eden. So private & peaceful. I was able to meet manatees my first evening taking the kayak out; they were as interested in me as I was in them and came all around me and the baby came up to say hi. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. It was just me and the manatees not another human in sight. The next morning I paddled out again and saw otters playing. I saw turtles, lizards, many beautiful birds, including green heron, great blue heron, and an owl. Coffee in the morning on the patio & a fire at night under the canopy of trees. Close to so much to do- springs, beach, nature parks, but by far the best was being able to paddle pretty much out the back door. I’m so glad I stayed here!!!

We were impressed with all of the things Chris provided to make sure you were comfortable-- from kitchen and bathroom supplies to all you need for outdoor fun, we loved our stay at this peaceful cottage.

What a lovely little house! We brought our 2 kids, and the layout was great. Loved the sleeping porch, the location to the water, and the s'mores supplies at the ready. Tawnya and Jay sent us so many great recommendations in the area and were very responsive if we had any questions. Our faves from the weekend were The Gristmill, Gruene Hall and The Freiheit Country Store - great live music & atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back again!

Beautiful home, with great back porch for viewing the canal to the Suwannee River. It was a great landing place for exploring all the various Springs and State parks in the area. The springs were beautiful this time of year and had manatees, alligators, jumping fish. There is a decent 32 mile bike trail that follows the old railroad. We couldn't find bikes to rent, so we purchased a couple from Walmart and then donated them to a church in the area to find a new home for them. We weren't there for fishing, but it would be a great spot to land a boat and head out to the river which is only 3-4 houses down the canal. There is an awesome bar & grill on the water on the river which you can walk to. Highway is close by for easy access to town, grocery stores, etc. Thanks so much for a lovely stay in your home. Maria and Jeff's cottage is exactly how it looks in the pictures! Very peaceful and right on the water. It is small, but very comfortable for two people and beautifully decorated. There was a basket of goodies on the table for our arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. It was great to have the kayaks available for us to use and was a large part of why we chose this place. We took them out every day. Saw manatees twice! Also had a pair of whooping cranes grace our yard one morning! The Bayport restaurant is right down the street and had music and lots of outdoor seating. Anything you could need is close by, but you'd never know it sitting by the water and listening to the peacefulness. We would absolutely recommend Maria and Jeff's place!

This place was AMAZING! So secluded and the lake was beautiful. I forgot to sign the guestbook but I will definitely be going back!

We had a wonderful time at Casey’s place and were sorry to leave. The house and grounds are simply wonderful and the peace and quiet of the early mornings and evenings in particular was magical. So many birds to listen to and watch, and the little alligator and deer in the forest opposite. We took out the Jon boat and enjoyed the quiet river and explored the surrounding nature areas and forests on walks. The house has everything you need and there are so many places to sit and rest outside. We hope to be back some time.

Very relaxing location.

We were looking for a peaceful escape for Thanksgiving week and Emerald Isle and this cabin were perfect! We enjoyed the screened in porch, the beautiful view and property, and spent lots of time in the kayaks fishing for catfish. Our two kids and dog had a blast running around the property and enjoying the outdoors. We made fires, roasted smores, fried up our fresh catch, and just enjoyed the serene surroundings. Neighbors were in and out of other cabins and everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. It was our first time to Cross Lake and I would highly recommend. Jennifer was very communicative and continuously checked in on us during the week. We have no complaints and would certainly stay again! It was a great week!

This place was amazing!! So peaceful siting outside on the deck and so many different areas to relax while at the house. There are so many amenities included to keep you busy. We enjoyed fishing off the deck while an alligator watched nearby! The neighborhood and surrounding area had so much to do. We ate so much good food and the people were all so friendly. We loved our stay here and would love to come back again, highly recommend!

What a fabulous stay! the cabin was cozy, well stocked, and quiet. My boys loved swinging on the rope swings, riding their bikes down the hill just in front of the cabin, swimming in the river, playing in the sand beach, playing on the Wii, and making s'mores around the fire pit.there were two adorable neighbourhood dogs that kept "watch" over us. they would follow us to the river and lay nearby while we swam. they welcomed my boys downstairs in the mornings. I personally loved the kayaks, rocking chairs on the big peaceful porch. I drank my coffee while watching the kids play in the mornings. The boys grandma loved sleeping on the porch bed. we made so many memories! we loved staying here so very much.

The home was easy to find and in a great location. It was very clean and we are very happy that it was pet friendly. Also, the people around the area were super friendly!

For this being our first Airbnb experience it was amazing! Everything was clean, smelled good, the scenery was gorgeous and it was so peaceful and quiet. We had friendly neighbors in the other cabins as well which made the experience that much better. We did meet Deebo the cabin kitty. He was very friendly. I highly recommend these cabins we had everything we needed and then some. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay again.
