Traveling to a new country can often be overwhelming, but staying with Sean made my trip to Nicaragua unforgettable. He wasn’t just the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had—he was truly one of the kindest people I met during my entire time in the country. And that’s saying a lot! The listing mentions it’s a shared living space, but in reality, it felt like my own private oasis. Even on rainy, cloudy days, the views were absolutely breathtaking. Nestled in the heart of a vast, natural landscape, this farm is remote yet only about 15 minutes from the nearest town, offering the best of both worlds. Sean went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless during my stay. His hospitality and thoughtfulness made the experience incredibly special, and I can’t recommend it enough.

This is our second time staying here. And obviously there’s a reason for that. Such a tranquil little corner on the planet, a lovely lack of humans. Of course the fishing village is only a 15 min walk down the beach if u want to see people or buy some fresh fish and maybe lobster. Have a cold beer and some local shellfish at the restaurant Belen. Sit out back in the swinging chair for two and stare out peacefully at the mangrove lagoon. They also sell some basic veg and provisions if you need some. Certainly don’t omit bringing most of your food. The supermarket a half hour before arriving is well stocked if you don’t manage to do any shopping in Leon or Managua on your way. Back at the house we can report that the owners have invested in a brand new stove and all 4 burners work great! There was tons of driftwood and we enjoyed a couple of wonderful sunset bonfires. Already dreaming of returning

We escaped to Miramar Bungalows after being hit by a tropical storm in Asseradores and losing power for a few days. It’s close to the airport so we overlooked it and figured it wasn’t our style. We were dead wrong as it ended up being perfect, we’ve never stayed at such a luxurious villa we loved so much. On top of how great it was, will rented us surfboards and filled us in on where to go tomorrow not get smoked by sea urchins, which he literally just has to point to from the porch. The main break you can see from the porch and is a short walk up the beach. We travelled a lot in Nicaragua and will be going straight to Miramar Bungalows when we return, if we could give it 10 stars we would… Also you don’t need a car at all in this town, everything you need is in the neighborhood, people are lovely and Tuk Tuks are available if you really need a ride. The view from inside is no joke, we’ve stayed right on the beach plenty of times but this is different, you’ll feel like royalty.

We had a very pleasent stay at Christianna's AIRBNB. The house was very clean, resembled completely the description, and everything one could need had been provided. We were especially fond of our great hostes who was very kind, communicated perfectly, and always helped us out quickly if there occured some unforseen problem. In a nutshell, we very much recommend the place!

Great location and we loved the hammock and having the pool to cool off in. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was really nice, well equipped and spacious. Loved all the outdoor places to hang out at. Would have preferred more than just a sheet on the beds, but since it was so hot in Leon it was okay. Ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms didn’t work as well as the ones in the kitchen. Overall would stay here again.

Angie’s place is truly a slice of heaven on earth. The pictures don’t do it justice. Angie and her family were super welcoming and very accommodating. My family and I had such a great time at Angie’s place. I really can’t say enough good things about it. The ultimate place for rest and relaxation. Thank you Angie for opening up your home and sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

1. Luis was incredible in every way and so responsive. Russel and his family were the sweetest and attended to all of our questions and arrivals by boat in high tide or walk across the river bed at low tide. 10/10 will definitely be returning. 2. The home is BEAUTIFUL! Oh my gosh - it’s better than the photos can show. The AC worked wonderfully in all the rooms in the evenings. Sitting out in the ranchos and playing games until dark was one of our favorite activities after jumping in the waves during the day and by sunset. I truly cannot wait to go back and with another large group. 3. Some practical matters, there is no oven yet on site BUT we made due during a proper Thanksgiving stay with the grill, stove top, microwave, blender, and fully equipped kitchen otherwise. We had fresh steaks most evenings from the grill. If you ever have to leave for replenishments keep an eye on the tides but you WILL be totally fine. Mosquitos in the evenings are expected but not out of hand. Enjoy!!

The house is very well kept and the location is perfect,you can walk to central park if you want. Lots of place to eat around walking distance and if you want to visit the beach is about 25 minutes drive. Neighborhood is very safe to walk around. Definitely will recommend it to anyone.
