Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lapeer County

Julie's house had absolutely everything that we could possibly need, very well stocked kitchen with the best water I've drank in my entire life, first aid kit, comfortable living room and outdoor space. The beds were extremely comfortable and rooms had great darkening capability. The only drawback was that the bedroom doors had small glass windows (like to a patio door 2x4 window rows) and didn't offer a lot by way of sound protection which really only mattered for our 3 year old. This also wouldn't stop us from renting again. Great place, great communication.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

This is a full house that is also dog friendly. Do note that there is no fenced in yard should you require one for your dog. Rooms are very spacious and comfy. We had six adults and one toddler plus two dogs and felt very much at home. The one recommendation to the owner is that if you require the dog to be crated when left alone and not allow dogs on the furniture, this instruction should be in the opening description. We did not learn of this requirement until driving to the Airbnb just before check in within the check in instructions. There are many dogs that don't do well in crates and we didn't think to travel with one. We worked it out as the dogs weren't left alone but the last minute instructions were a bit frustrating. We can also keep our dogs off the furniture but many owners cannot. Other than that the communication by Keke was outstanding. She was also super helpful when our kids discovered left items twice! All in all, a great place and would return.

Felt just like being back home. My sister niece and I were here for a celebration of life and knew the neighborhood well very quiet, lovely kitchen and all the bedrooms and furnishings Were very comfortable. Chris and his parents were very nice. They were right next-door and welcomed us in with open arms. They were very kind and accommodating.

We stayed in Troy for a girls’ shopping weekend. The house is lovely for a group and close to all the places we wanted to shop. It is as advertised and owner was very responsive. Nice beds!

The house is roomy, clean, and located in a quiet safe neighborhood. The backyard is lovely for sitting and observing the birds, squirrels, deer. We had lots of local activities so didn’t get to spend as much time in the house as usual. Our host was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. Thank you

Very nice! Loved the house, the location, the garage. The beds were super comfortable, A great patio but we were here in December. Would be very nice in summer! Owners worked well and responded quickly to requests. I would recommend and stay again.

Everything was very easy access. Even with the slight accommodations, we were able to stay and make it work for all guests that stayed in the Airbnb

The apartment was a great value – clean, modern, and comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet, even within an apartment building. The check-in process could have been smoother, and the kitchen amenities were a bit sparse (no toaster, for example), but overall, it was a solid stay and met our needs.

We stayed for a local family wedding and the house worked out perfectly. It was comfortable, clean, quiet neighborhood, safe and worked very well for our stay.

Beautiful clean home, beautiful yard and pool. Very spacious, fit our family of 6 very well, plenty of room. This is our 4th time renting from Colleen. Twice here and twice at the lake house. We will definitely rent from her again. She has beautiful homes. Thank you Colleen!

Hey thanks very much Kyle, sorry for the late review, it was a great stay, nice locality with a great river trail nearby, has quite a few stores and a shopping plaza nearby with walmart, Panera bread and other eateries. A convenient stay with neatly maintained apartment. I would highly recommend the place and Kyle is an amazing host. He helped me with a few requests and was always responsive. Thanks very much for hosting us. Looking forward to visit soon. :)

We enjoyed the living room area and having plenty room to hang out together in addition to the 1/2 bath located on the first floor. Complex was quiet. We would definitely stay here again when we come visit our son for a weekend. The house fit 5 of us comfortably and we enjoyed hanging out and not being cramped in hotel rooms. We made appetizers for dinner one night and the kitchen had what we needed.

Spent Thanksgiving week here with family. The house was perfect for what we needed. A large beautiful kitchen with everything needed to cook and tv to watch the Lions game! Plenty of other space to spread out and seating. And of course, the indoor pool!!! You can see the pool from the living room, kitchen table and sink. It was PERFECT for our kids as they practically lived in there! Super close drive to Milford which was a surprise- so many good restaurants and cute shops. Close to a lot of great playgrounds/parks! Great spot! Will definitely stay again!

The host is very responsive. He even reached out to me after his existing renter changed plans to offer the new availability. Any small details were quickly attended to. The location is perfect for my work and there are many restaurants, grocery stores, and amenities nearby. The location is quiet and private.

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

It was a great place with so much beauty all around the area. Our dog had a great time and we were all able to relax. Every old house has its quirks but a lovely, unique place. Very helpful host :)

This place is amazing! Postcard thought of every little detail for a comfortable, unplugged stay. There’s no place like this that truly prioritizes rest & connection so well. We’re already looking for other places to book in the US!

We could not be anymore happy with our stay! Denise was very responsive and thought of everything. We came hereto go to Frankenmuth and it was a beautiful location about 30 miles away. The lodge was so pretty. She provided lots of snacks, candy, and hot cocoa, and they had lots of board games to choose from. She even had a cute gift waiting for us! Instructions for check in/out were very clear. Would definitely stay here again.

Tiffany was an ideal host. She gave clear instructions and was very responsive. The place was actually nicer than it appeared in pictures. The gas station across the street was perfect for grabbing something quick to drink or ice for our ice chest when leaving. We really enjoyed our stay, the cute town the home was in and how easy it was to get to all the towns we wanted to visit.

Cool house! Loved the art room. Wish we could have stayed longer!
