This was a very quiet and peaceful space. You have your own room and bathroom down a long hall from the front door. Your hosts go up the flight of stairs to their home from the same front door. I felt very safe and comfortable with this arrangement. The small, well stocked kitchen space was complete with a sink, mini frig and coffee maker. Parking was not a problem and the hosts were responsive. Honestly, this was a perfect place to stay!

After a small issue with the instructions to enter and getting a hold of the host, the rest of the stay was wonderful and the host was communicative. This was the cleanest and one of the best equipped places we have ever stayed! I would absolutely recommend staying here if you're in the area and we more than likely will use it again if available next time!

Had a great stay. Ed was very helpful and gave us loads of suggestions for places to visit. Perfect place if you want to explore Downtown Lancaster. Great restaurants nearby. Right across the street from our favorite. The Belvedere. Thank you Ed.

I can’t say enough positive things about this place. It was very close to all the attractions we came to do. The house was in a nice quiet community. It was so nice to sit out back in the evenings after a busy day. The house was very clean and was decorated very nice. There was plenty of brochures for food options close by and even found one for an antique place that I hadn’t yet had on my list. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Fantastic stay at Laura’s home! Great location if you’re visiting Franklin & Marshall and in general, a beautiful neighborhood close to downtown Lancaster. Laura is friendly and makes you feel at ease staying in her home.

We chose Rosey's because it could accommodate my sister's family and mine - eight people - for my mom's memorial service. It was perfect! Exactly as advertised; clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the sleeping arrangements were as we saw in the pictures and worked just fine. There was plenty of room in the living room dining room and kitchen to gather, have meals and talk. And the parking was easy - on the street right in front of the house. Chris and Melody's attention to details was evident everywhere and especially in the hand written note and bag of Wilbur Buds which greeted us on the dining room table. Thank you!! We highly recommend if for no other reason than to see the goats!

Gladys is a lovely, welcoming and responsive host. Her space was super clean. It was just right for a place to rest during many days of car travel. It’s also super convenient access to Millersville University and for Lancaster.

Very attentive and responsive host. Room as described. Location easy to get to the city or to the highway. If driving and need to park, please let the host know ahead of time so that the host can get the required City street parking permit. Stayed 3 weeks. Had no schedule conflicts or other issues using shared facility. Great value for money.

This place is absolutely stunning! So cozy and beautiful. The hosts are beyond gracious and welcomed us with a special homemade treat. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this to everyone!

Can’t say enough about this adorable, spacious and functional place in Lancaster! Super clean, modern and cozy with comfortable beds and a very helpful host! We wanted to turn two of the twin beds into a king and she was right on it! The kitchen is brand new with lots of seating and it’s bright and spacious. Living room was welcoming and cozy and bedrooms were also huge with fresh linens and crisp sheets. Walking distance to Luca but a bit further from downtown.

This place exceeds our expectations! The spacious rooms & yard, beautiful farm view and neighborhood. It had everything we needed.

Loved this space. We spent our time our time at Kates for my sons wedding pet friendly beautiful easily accessible. Loved the river trail for running. Area was super quiet...no issues even with the train (did not phase us). Thank you so much for a stress free weekend

Great house in a great, small little town. Katrina was responsive to needs. Offered to come back and install the AC windows units. Would definitely stay again!

We had a very nice stay at Regina & John's place. Their instructions were very clear and communication was speedy. Our party was excited to stay in downtown Hummelstown. Experiencing the town in the morning was a delight. It was only a few steps to a wonderful cafe and eatery called Momma's Cafe. The shower was excellent - hot water and strong water flow. The mattresses on the 5 beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Clean and freshly renovated house in a great location. Two parking spots, so didn't have to look for street parking. Close to a grocery store, Central Market, and lots of good restaurants and coffee shop. Would definitely stay again if we return to Lancaster!

Good location for us as we could walk to attractions and restaurants. Finding street parking wasn’t an issue. Place was clean and comfortable but I will note that the interior brick wall on the main floor is slightly crumbling and generates a little dust along the floorboard. Not an issue for us but you may want to consider if you have severe asthma or a crawling baby. Host was thoughtful. She programmed the door entry code to the last 4 digits of my phone. She also informed us that someone would be in the alley at a certain day and time to collect trash, which was very considerate

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Bricks on James! We had everything we needed both inside the house (nice, clean linens, bedding, kitchen) and within the neighborhood. We took so many lovely walks around the city and came back to enjoy the charming house. Perfect rental!

Place is extremely well kept & decorated nicely. It was spotless clean. It's convenient to Amish surroundings & the Sight & Sound Theater, which we visited. The small complex of townhouses is in a quiet area just off the main highway. The host always quickly responded to my questions & comments.

This place was perfect. It’s close to everything and much better than staying in a hotel. Mike was easy to contact and made sure we were right at home.

We had a great stay at Darlen’s place. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious and exactly as pictured in the listing. Everything was updated and in great condition, and the kitchen was very pleasant to cook in. We appreciated the little touches like the coffee station, the yoga equipment, and the nice bath products. The location is super convenient, and it’s only a few steps down to the Susquehanna river banks, where we enjoyed walking along the path. Finally, Darlen was responsive and very easy to communicate with.

Very nice, well kept home in great proximity to downtown. The house was a good size, and felt homey. Nice and quiet neighborhood, with super easy access to plenty of food, drink, shopping, and attractions. Great host as well, super easy and clear communication. Highly recommend!!
