Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lancaster County

It’s beautiful and peaceful house. We had a great time there. Anna prepared groceries for us. She is really nice.

For the past five years, we’ve celebrated Melissa’s birthday at Swan Lake, and it has truly become a cherished tradition. Vern is always a wonderful host, and his thoughtful touches make each stay special. The peaceful setting, cozy atmosphere, and beautiful views make it the perfect place to unwind. Every visit is filled with great wine, incredible food, and plenty of games—exactly what a getaway should be. We love coming back year after year and are already looking forward to the next one!

Would definitely stay again if in the area. would recommend this place to anyone. Not only is the house adorable and cozy, the waterfall outside is stunning. Suzi is a great host, with the best directions, I have never been provided woth such detailed directions and it just made check in and the entire process seamless and so easy. It can be hard to find a place that allows pups, but this hidden gem does and you don't have to settle because it is lovely.

1860s waterfall retreat is a relaxing, beautiful, and super clean historic home. Speaking of the lower level of the hime where we stayed: The bathroom has been recently renovated and is very nice. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal in the home. The beds are comfortable and the linens soft. The view from the back porch towards the waterfall is peaceful and the highlight of the property. Furniture has been placed close to the waterfall, and a fire pit is available for the evenings. Hosts Luci and Suzi were welcoming and helpful during our stay. This is a lovely place to visit!

place was as described, clean and spacious. We were here for a girls weekend and was great for everything we needed. Close to Lancaster or York if you want to do something more involved. Thanks

A perfect place to disconnect to reconnect ! We absolutely adored this cabin. It was so beautifully decorated inside and outside was so peaceful and serene. It’s private like listed but you can see the family at a pavilion looking building wayyyyyy behind the cabin. Our suggestions: - definitely have a AWD or 4WD because your driving through a field a pretty long distance - careful in the shower, no grip on floor so it gets pretty slippery - the split unit ac/heat compressor is attached to the house on the outside of the bedroom wall which was really really loud and a motor noise and also vibrated the bedroom wall. Thankfully it was cool enough during our stay to not really use it because the motor noise was driving me crazy lol We give this spot a 10 out of 10. It was such a beautiful stay. Thank you !!!!

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. I love the location and beauty of the property. The dogs have the spacious backyard as well as the park next door to go for walks. Suzi and Lucy were extremely accommodating. I also loved the upgrades from last year and their vision for future projects. They take pride in the property and make their guests feel comfortable!

The barn is beautiful. Situated on a pond, this place is perfect for families or anyone looking for breath of fresh air. The hosts were extremely communicative and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as smooth as possible. There are many areas of the property to explore - fishing in the pond, chickens, fire pit, and hot tub. The barn itself was very clean and had everything we needed. We will be back!

Tonya’s place was absolutely WONDERFUL! We stayed for a few weeks, and it truly felt like a breath of fresh air—exactly what my family and I needed. The home was incredibly comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed to feel right at home. What made it even more special was the peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sounds of birds and being able to enjoy the outdoors so freely made our stay feel both relaxing and rejuvenating. Oh and the Green Dragon Market only being a short walking distance, made Fridays all the better! Tonya was also such a gracious host—kind, responsive, and flexible. We’re especially grateful for her allowing us to extend our stay. It made a big difference to us and turned a great experience into an unforgettable one. If you’re looking for a clean, serene, and welcoming getaway, this is it. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
