Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Wylie

Barri's place was a perfect place for visiting family. The yard was fantastic for the pup. The beds are a little easy to move due to them being on wheels, but once locked they moved less. The separate living areas was nice to have. There seems to be a slight issue with water puddling under the refrigerator, but Barri walked me through on how to fix it and we didn't have a problem the rest of our stay. The only thing that was negative was that we found nails in the driveway on the last day. We had one in our tire and found another near our second car. Can't tell if they were there the whole time or if someone put them there on purpose. Just a heads up. Overall we would stay here again and we are already planning the family's next stay.

We have family in the area and this was our second time staying here after having a great previous stay. All the amenities needed for a few nights’ stay: well-stocked kitchen, laundry (w/much an appreciated scent-free soap option), comfortable & quiet accommodations. Thanks again!

We had a great stay at Morgan’s place. The house is super dog friendly, with dog beds and bowls inside and out and a big fenced back yard. Inside was spacious, fast WiFi, and was perfect for our stay. The house is located at the end of a quiet cul de sac in a walkable neighborhood, close to everything in Greensboro.

Perfect place to call home during a trip to Spartanburg. The home is spotless. The location is very quiet, peaceful and safe. I’d definitely stay here again. I read a very negative review from a prior guest. They either stayed somewhere different or had a totally different experience than me.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious, with a large yard that our dogs loved. One of the best parts was having a fantastic brewery within walking distance, and getting to downtown Charlotte was super easy. Elizabeth was an amazing host—very responsive and helpful with all my accommodations. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area!

The house was cozy and the backyard was a plus! It was super convenient to the Charlotte Convention Center and shopping. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Stayed here to go to a concert at the spectrum center and it was the perfect location! Was cute and cozy! Was also nice you get your own parking spot!

Can’t say enough nice things about Suzanne and the beautiful home she has built. My husband and I stayed in the attached studio and thoroughly enjoyed the shared porch and the privacy of our room that overlooks the pasture. We were even able to let our dogs play in the pasture when the horses weren’t using it. Lots of interesting things to do within a 10-15 minute drive. We look forward to coming back as soon as the opportunity arises! Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about this stay! The AirBnB was clean and went above and beyond the listing. It was quiet and peaceful, but close to plenty of local attractions. They even had toys and treats for pups! Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Place is awesome. Celebrated my 30th with 3 other couples and it was an extremely nice spot! Kitchen was awesome and the rooftop was great for watching football and grilling steaks!

This was our 2nd time staying at Dale's place. We really love the coziness of this place. Location is great. We love West Jefferson and Boone and this place is settled nicely in between both. I highly recommend this cabin.

Having a pet friendly place was a must and Melissa delivered. The location is close to grocery stores, shopping, and is easy to access main roadways. Melissa’s townhouse provided exactly what we needed.

Easy place to find, plenty of parking in a wide gravel lot big enough to handle a pickup with a hauling trailer. Self check-in is also simple, just make sure you tap the door keypad first to get the unit to light up then you punch in the given code followed by the # button. You can park directly in front of the yard gate for easy unloading. If you are traveling with a dog it is completely fenced in. Nice covered front porch for relaxing. Unit is as pictured. It's a cute no-frills tiny cabin and is a better value than a hotel room for privacy. Wifi comes from the house on the hill above you, it averaged about 2 bars and was fast. Verizon phone service averaged 1 bar. If you are noise sensitive be aware that the wall a/c unit is directly above the bed, and being next to Hwy 74 you will hear every vehicle that goes by. Nice host (won't bother you unless you need help), well kept clean place. Recommended stay if you just need somewhere simple to lay your head. A win!

Sweet guest cottage in the mountains. Theme decor is very welcoming and comfortable. Gives rustic chic vibes. Feels spacious. Sofa bed linens and mattress pad made for a v comfortable place to sleep. Two bathrooms and ample hot water and towels. Up a steep hill, choose the one minute longer route up Possum vs Sunset road and it is not as twisty and steep. Probably not a walk to town kind of place due to the hillside perch but close enough that you wont mind the quick drive. We saw deer, bunnies and a bear in the neighborhood. Thoughtful host, lots of nice little touches (S'MORES!!!!).

Sam was fabulous about keeping in touch. The space is exactly as described. The neighborhood is wonderful and quiet.

Byron was very accommodating to my family and me, especially with such short notice of the change. My daughter was graduating from Newberry College and my parents wanted to go to Newberry and spend the night with her the day before. My dad is a very, very particular older man (lol). With that being said, he enjoyed staying at Byron's home and felt more comfortable than at a hotel. Thanks, Byron, for your quick responses and for being so understanding. I will highly recommend your place to anyone looking to stay in Newberry. P.S. The place was clean, and they even had a Christmas tree up (so cute).

We needed a very last minute place to stay, and Whistlestop was just the place. We enjoyed every minute of it.

Our stay at Diane’s cozy spot on Lake Norman was the perfect experience for a mother/daughter/sister 2 night stay. The weather was absolutely beautiful mid October and the full moon put on a show on the lake. Diane was attentive, quick to respond (we had no issues) when I had questions and our space was clean, well stocked and furnished.

As stated it is one step above camping, but what a marvelous step. I had a big smile on my face the whole time I was there! The place is beautiful. The second day of my stay I went back early and spent the afternoon reading on the deck overlooking the woods. Started a fire in the fire ring and spent a lovely evening, buying a pizza in town about a mile from the cabin.
