House vacation rentals in Lake Taupo

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

Absolutely loved the place - view was great and the place is adorable. Lots of food options 5 minutes away, and great access to downtown public spaces on Lake Taupo.

It was an awesome location, very private and very spacious for a family of 8. Ruby and Tyler are a beautiful couple that make sure you are very comfortable and really make you feel at home.

This home was absolutely beautiful, private and so well presented. It's modern and had everything we needed. The cleanliness was top-notch and the private spa pool was a perfect touch for a girls weekend. It truly felt like a home away from home. Karen was incredibly responsive, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Overall, it was an amazing stay!

Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Great location easy walking distance to restaurants and shops, also very close to the lake. Bachcare was very quick to respond to any questions. Great communication. The only thing that would have made it slightly better was it was quite hot in the smaller bedroom. The only window was a skylight and there wasn't anyway to open it. The main bedroom was lovely though, air con and big windows.

Fantastic place to stay in Kinloch - walking distance to the lake, local tennis courts, playground and pump bike track...great for a family holiday. Beautiful modern home with all the bells & whistles and fantastic heated pool. Had everything we needed and also only 20 min drive to Taupo. Highly recommend.

We stayed for one night while travelling down the North Island. The house was easy to access and was fully fenced which was ideal as we have a dog and 2 young children. The place was clean and tidy and was family friendly.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay in a great location. House was private and had everything we needed. Also amazing mini golf & restaurant walking distance! Great walks to the lake also!

Wonderful little piece of paradise! The home was spacious & bright with lots of windows to take advantage of the stunning views. We enjoyed the hot tub, soaking tub, laundry facilities & even got to meet Poppy. We took Janes advice & visited the wonderful cafe & pottery shop just a couple minutes away. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This is a home that we will cherish the memories of. We are so grateful to have stayed in this magical spot, in a home filled with much love and history. We were all so comfortable and the view of the river from the property was so peaceful. You can walk along the banks and even jump in. It’s beautiful and pristine clean. Wow! Wow! Stunning views all around and amazing sunsets. Very quiet and peaceful. House is exactly as described and more. Has everything you need, all amenities provided. Very comfortable beds, large bathroom and two toilets. Outdoor furniture provided. Outdoor bath was extra special for our overseas visitors. Lovely friendly host with good communication and instructions on location. Will definitely return. Thank you Cyn, one of the best places we have ever stayed in :-).

Loved our stay. Felt very safe & secure being that it is tucked away from street view with electronic coded door lock. Loads of restaurants deliver. Quick drive into town without having to take the ‘main strip’. Was simply brilliant & loved the special Christmas touches that made it feel very much like home.

Very nice house, well-equipped. Comfortable bedding. We enjoyed our stay and especially having breakfast with the family on the terrace overlooking a large wooded garden.

This is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. We encountered a tricky situation, and the host set off from Auckland at 1 AM to help us. This was my parents’ first trip to New Zealand, and the experience left them with a great impression and deep gratitude. I highly recommend this place—you’ll get an amazing house with convenient access to many attractions.
