We had a lovely stay at Jonathan's place at a pretty much perfect time of year. The views were incredible! The home had a ton of character, and somehow managed to be cozy despite being huge. The view from the shower/bath did not get old! We would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a getaway.

We loved Momanni so much that we returned this year for our second trip. Minutes from Mt Sunapee. Very cozy interior. The whole family had a great time.

We had the most relaxing time at Mandi’s place. Much needed for both of us. The home was absolutely beautiful, clean well decorated great kitchen because we love to cook. The bed was super comfortable, which is really important. You could tell they put time into making sure that sleeping would be perfect. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The view is breathtaking and serene. We would suggest going to Bubba‘s right up the street great little bar and restaurant we saw an otter in the lake. ❤️ Michael fished off the dock. This was a great spot to relax and recharge for a couple days. Prior to my visit, I stocked up on groceries and did not leave until checkout. It was peaceful to just sit on the deck in the warm weather and watch the ice begin to melt on the river. I would definitely return, even in the winter/early spring as it is a great place to enjoy some quiet and a good view.

Perfect place for a family. Lots of beds and space to hang out. The heaters in every room were convenient especially at night. It was comfortable and check-in was easy. Check-out had a lot of steps and required a bit of extra work so make sure to follow the instructions listed in the house rules. Overall a great stay we enjoyed our time at Newfound Lake!

We had a wonderful stay at Grantham Getaway for a quick ski weekend at Ragged Mtn. Cozy, spacious, and clean. Sweet touches with the coffee bar and welcome basket. Matt was helpful and kind, we’ll definitely be back! Thank you.

We had a great time staying at the Dam House. The house is a good size, clean and very cozy. It was just a few minutes from Ragged Mountain and was a perfect spot for our ski weekend!

Truly an amazing stay! The house was filled with thoughtful additions; is perfect for a girl's/couple's getaway or even a family retreat (stocked with activities for the kids, even a dedicated room/space). The house was clean. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Please note, if coming in the rainy season (spring), the road can be muddy and the ground soft. We did rent an AWD vehicle, the road is narrow, but easy to navigate (just take your time). The address (in GPS) was easy to find, partially paved then you will be driving on dirt road, again take your time on the roads (they can be rough). Access to the home was easy. The views are beautiful and relaxing, especially from the upstairs loft bedroom (it did not have curtains as mentioned but honestly during our stay it was a little cloudy, so this was not an issue, all other rooms have shades/curtains). Will be staying here again as soon as possible!! Would highly recommend.

The house is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'd need, and the laundry works very well. I thought the beds were also quite comfortable. My favorite part of the house was the porch overlooking the water, which was very peaceful, and the very easy to use fireplace that added a lot of warmth and coziness.

Great stay at this place! We stayed there a week before Chiistmas and the place had a beautiful Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations around the home. This really made it feel like home. We were able to sit at the fireplace and have a glass of wine and it even snowed that night which totally made the stay feel like a holiday. I would highly recommend this place. It was squeekly clean, sits on the water with great views, and easy to get to.

This is an incredibly comfortable and remarkably well equipped lakefront house. Plenty of kitchen supplies and tools to keep the cooks happy, and all of the water gear anyone could ask for. We especially appreciated the large porch overlooking the lake. Close to the busy road (as was described in the listing), but blocked off and made visually private by fencing. Owners incredible, responding almost instantly, warmly, and generously.

What a beautiful little cottage! Everything was perfect! We felt so at home and relaxed in this cottage. Very roomy, tastefully decorated and the VIEWS!!!! We spent a weekend here and enjoyed our first night outside looking across the lake and enjoying a fire in the fire pit. Even though it rained on our next day we enjoyed using the binoculars and we were blessed to see a bald eagle! We took advantage of the local trails and had a wonderful hike and visited a little waterfall just minutes from the cottage. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a nice anniversary dinner with the thoughtful sparking wine left for us by the host. If you’re looking for a great place to relax and enjoy an amazing view you have to visit this cottage. Such a gem!

Karen is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is all on one level and if one is senior the one floor living in helpful. The place was very well kept and very clean and had everthing one would need for a nice getaway. There is a restuarant in walking distance and one could walk along the lake road right outside the door. In the winter the house is 8 to 10 miles each way to snow skiing mountains and another 8 miles away to food shopping. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Tom was the best host so far. His beautiful house was perfect for summer or winter. We felt perfectly at home as soon as we arrived. Do not hesitate to book this beautiful house.

Barbara's place is a real gem. So clean, with a beautiful mix of antique and woodsy modern furniture, and a wonderfully comfortable living area overlooking a meandering brook which a few hundred yards down the road leads to the lake. The kitchen was well-equipped and modern, and beddings and beds were very comfortable. While the house was close too a busy road, we didn't hear a thing, and for summer users the deck is completely away from the road, overlooking the brook. Even more than we expected.

Another review said to just stop looking elsewhere and book one of Don’s properties. Excellent advice. This is a gem of an estate. Everything was as I had hoped for and more. I very much look forward to going back in other seasons.

Angelina and her family have a truly wonderful property in what is arguably one of the most beautiful locations in New England. The property is very well-maintained, modern, and updated. The downstairs entry way is spacious and well laid out. It has a large sitting area, two bedrooms, and a wet bar with storage and a microwave. It also contains a full bathroom with laundry. We had another family join us for part of the time and the layout was very conducive to both families having space/privacy, yet being able to spending quality time together. The main living space is relaxing and inviting. The gas fireplace is wonderful to sit by while reading or watching television. We used the house for skiing (Tenney and Ragged are nearby) and loved it. Communicating with Angelina was an absolute pleasure. It was immediately apparent that she is a kind and caring person, and she explained everything clearly and was always very responsive.

We had everything we need and the place was so cozy. We walked the trails and out on the frozen lake. We had a great weekend visiting with our granddaughter in your lake house.

Kara's cabin was perfect for our boys ski weekend. About 20 mins away from Ragged and close-by to restaurants. Nice view of the lake too! Plenty of space for the 4 of us to hang out. Kara was super responsive with local recommendations and quick to notify me of an issue with their lock without me even having to reach out. Great host!

Very responsive host! Quickly answered questions and very accommodating. The house was exactly as expected and very clean! She provided a great list of local restaurants which were perfect. Would definitely rent again in the future!

The home was VERY clean and beautiful. This apartment is newly renovated with lovely craftsmanship. Pat and Christine added thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel right at home. Pat even salted and shoveled the front walkway for us in the morning after it snowed. I really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen (utensils, pots, pans, spices, coffee, sugar, etc...)! This made our weekend getaway stress free. The only item of note, is the house is not super sound proof. You can hear the downstairs neighbors as they move throughout their day. They were very respectful and quiet. This is just similar to staying at a hotel or condo. It did not take away from our relaxing weekend. Overall, a wonderful stay and would recommend!

Thank you Bob for letting us rent your home! It was so peaceful and beautiful to sit outside looking at the lake, lots of grass for games and best of all a sandy beach area that the little kids loved! We definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back again. Denise

Kathi was a great host. The house was beautifully set on the lake with its own private dock. We utilized the fire pit and dock the most. We liked that there were plenty of rooms to accommodate our family and my parents.
