Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Orta

We decided in our 5 week holiday to 10 different towns and cities this was our favorite. W hope this house is available next time.

This place has a beautiful view and a beautiful balcony/ garden area. It was extremely peaceful and good for someone looking for a quiet trip to Como. Elisabetta and Sara were very responsive and kept good communication. We would stay again for a peaceful get away. Everything was clean and updated just as described. It was good value for the price paid. I will say it is hard to transfer to and from anywhere else unless you drive your own car. If you stay here I would HIGHLY recommend renting a car. There is one market in walking distance but was never open during its online hours- plan groceries and water accordingly. There is an OUTSTANDING restaurant within a 5 minute walk that we frequented it during the stay. Overall a good stay and we would come back again!

This is a very special place - the peace and calm of the surroundings lets you hear the birds chirping from the moment you wake up all day long. The beauty and character of the neigbouring buildings and surrounding gardens (narrow stone corridors, arches and beautiful plants) together with the view of the lake made it feel like being in a fairytale. And Bobby, who is such a kind, discreet and helpful person. We absolutely loved our stay!

We immediately felt comfortable in Moltrasio. The apartment is located in the middle of the winding alleys above Lake Como, due to the description and videos of Diego, the apartment was easy to find. We were able to enjoy our coffee in the sun in the morning and explored the place on foot. Diego has written down where it's worth going, the ice cream at Le Guiggiole was more than worth it. At the Micrometcato you get everything you need and can even order products there for the next day. In the kitchen there was coffee and everything you need for cooking. You can walk to the water in about 15 minutes and can reach the neighboring towns there cheaply and quickly by ferry. We'd love to come back and were very happy to meet you too!

Great house in a peaceful and quiet surrounding, waking up to the beautiful lake front view was a dream! The house is newly renovated with all new appliances and spotlessly clean, Petra & Luigi provided cooking essentials for us to make breakfast and dinner easily. They even left a bottle of Prosecco for us upon check in! Beds were comfortable, bathroom is spacious with good shower pressure. Very nice and enjoyable amenities. Petra & Luigi were very flexible with check in time and communicated superbly. We opted to use public transportation instead of driving, the house is close to C10 and C25 bus stops as well as ferry. We did need to go up and down stairs to get to buses but it wasn’t a problem for us in general. For those who may not be able to climb stairs this could be a challenge, especially with luggage on stone paved roads. The stairs were nothing unusual though in the Lake Como setting and not particular to the house. I highly recommend Petra & Luigi’s dream lake view house!

Fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. We enjoyed every day and did a lot. Since it was low season, some restaurants in the area (including the 50m from the property) had closed. Through some research, we were able to find a few (Alberho Paradiso, Pizzeria Concordia). The accommodation itself had everything to offer, communication with the host impeccable.

The apartment was excellent, spacious and super clean. I definitely recommend this place, but you need a private vehicle. There is a parking slot available. Andrea was very helpful and proactive.

The apartment is very well located, in the historic center, very clean and perfectly equipped. The arrival was very simple: we were constantly communicating and the delivery of the keys was done without a problem. In the fridge we found fruit, bottles of water, a bottle of prosecco... All courtesy of the hosts. Communication both before and during our stay was very smooth, which simplified the whole process to the fullest. The apartment is highly recommended: beautifully located in the heart of the historic center, clean, decorated with exquisite taste... We feel very comfortable staying there.

We spent two beautiful days, charming and cared for in every detail, spacious and in a really quiet area and close to many routes. Really super friendly host and always available for any questions! Highly recommended!

This property is in a stunning location. Everywhere you look is beautiful. The house is basic but is comfortable and has an amazing and secure outside space. I took dogs with me and it is just perfect for them. The village is very traditional and quaint and if you like walking this is the place for you. The walks are amazing, the views spectacular and always a new pathway to follow. Waking up in the morning and opening the door to the view of the mountains and lakes, sitting on the balcony with a coffee is a treat every day. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

We were a group of 9 people and we had a lovely stay at this house by Lake Maggiore. The location is absolutely beautiful, with great views. The path to get there will have given us some chills but the garden is a real haven of peace, perfect for enjoying the calm and surrounding nature. Self check-in and self check-out will have given us a lot of flexibility, Stefano's instructions and his responsiveness were perfect. A big thank you for the warm welcome and all the small details in making our stay such a pleasant one.

There is no better place in Northern Italy to spend your holidays at! Lago d'Orta is not as touristic as Lago Maggiore or Lago di Como - a hidden gem! Villa Volpe is a place you will never forget!! 🤩
