Farmstay vacation rentals in Lake Ontario

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend at the farm cabin while visiting our daughter and husband, who live in nearby Manlius. The cottage was perfect for the two of us. Charming, magical, peaceful would best describe the stay. We slept very well in the comfortable beds. Mornings we could drink coffee on the porch, watching the sun rise over the fields and barn, and be greeted by the rooster and hens. We hope to be able to visit the cabin again for our next visit to our children.

We had a nice peaceful stay and the weather couldn't have turned out better. Douglas was responsive and helpful. The scenery is tranquil and the cabin is very cozy. It was an awesome weekend 👍 lots of red-wing blackbirds at this time of year, it was nice to hear them around the cabin.

We booked this place very last minute due to a housefire and were accomodated quickly.

My partner and I had a wonderful last minute stay at Annette's. We haven't had many personal interactions for stays in a while, which was really nice. From being warmly greeted from her and her dogs on arrival, to her showing us around the stay. We really felt right at home. The amenities and personal touches she had was great, and being able to walk around in nature right in the backyard was a huge plus. We definitely will want to come back in the future!

My group loved staying at Erica’s place!! The property is gorgeous and private, we had 3 cars and plenty of room to park outside. The interior was beautiful, and well laid out. Lots of towels and pillows, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Many in our group commented that this was the best Air BnB they’ve ever stayed at!! Awesome location, close to everything you’d need by short drive. Erica was also very proactive and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for more!!

We enjoyed a nice mini vacation at Sunny Pines. We spent some time at the Scandinave spa and did some shopping in Collingwood which was about a 45 minute drive away. The property is beautiful and access to the sauna was a nice bonus. Everything we needed was there and the loft was very clean with fresh towels and linens. The only criticism would be that the instructions to the building weren’t clear (it’s the loft on top of the garage). We would definitely recommend this Airbnb to those looking for a relaxing weekend away.

beautiful area , super peaceful. if you enjoy stargazing thsi is a great place. Hope we will return next summer to enjoy the lake more.

We had an amazing stay. It was our ideal retreat in the finger lakes region. Beautiful views, a great hot tub, nice sized house, beds were comfy, and it was convenient to Letchworth State Park. Would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough about how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay! Lovely and comfy accommodations, super clean and all the amenities we needed. Don is so very nice! Took the time to tell us about his property and his animals, and his love for them is obvious. The alpacas are beyond adorable!! Made me smile 😃 We hope to be back next year when husband plays in a golf tournament - I’ll book as soon as I know the dates! Thank you, Don!!

Yolanda is very helpful and an amazing host. She responded quickly and helped us with anything that we needed. The place was perfect and clean. Hot tub was very clean!! Over all, worth it!

Vanessa has been an above and beyond host. Would definitely come back and stay here for a week and also she has been very helpful with cute date night spots which helped a lot. Thanks vanessa for everything and for making our stay extra special

We are so happy we found this place! Clean, beautiful, comfy and felt like home right away. There was the perfect balance of all the comforts of home, while being a place that was easy to keep safe from our toddler (sometimes places have too many unnecessary things around, this was so nice to not have to worry about my little one destroying a family heirloom or something 😅) This was a central location for all the things we needed to do while visiting family, so we would be so happy if this sweet place was available the next time we come out this way. It was too cold to venture outside, but the outdoor space seemed very sweet as well. The snacks and the water were greatly appreciated, and thank you for the wonderful stay!

What a pleasant greeting! Arrived to Jan's lovely cottage to find homemade cookies waiting for us, a charcuterie board in the fridge, and farm fresh eggs for breakfast. The cottage was spotless. We felt right at home. We stayed warm by the fire, and playing board games. Jan is a welcoming and proactive host. A welcome board provided instructions on how to contact Jan should any issue arise. The cottage was well-organized, clean and safe. A picturesque setting. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Jan for the most wonderful weekend.

Kelli’s place is a MUST when visiting the area! My wife and I were visiting for our anniversary weekend, and Kelli’s home was the perfect fit. Not only was it a cozy loft, but it was so well equipped with everything that we needed. Including farm fresh eggs that were waiting for us in the fridge, such a nice touch! Very close to everything, this central location is great for privacy when you want to unwind at the end of the day, but also extremely easy to get to some top notch wineries and restaurants in the area. Kelli was attentive when we needed her, but not intrusive in the least which is always highly appreciated in a host! Can’t wait to be back next year and have already recommended this home to friends. Thanks for the stay!

Our stay at Stonewell Farm was perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the peaceful, rustic charm of the property. The farmhouse was clean, well decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The pictures on AirBNB don’t fully capture how great this place is. The grounds are stunning—rolling fields, lavender gardens, and a serene atmosphere. We loved sitting in the mornings, sipping coffee, and soaking in the tranquility. Lee Anne was welcoming and thoughtful, providing us with great local recommendations and free-range eggs. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend Stonewell Farm for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the countryside!

Wonderful well equipped house in a peaceful, beautiful location. Jim and Debbie are very responsive, kind and full of fantastic recommendations. We picked the perfect place to stay for an entire month. We highly recommend this property.

Staying at the carriage house was excellent. We were there for Thanksgiving. My sister and her family live 5 minutes away so it was extremely convenient. We loved watching the cat prowling about the grounds and we visited the chickens who wandered the property. A lovely setting and a very comfortable stay. We would definitely book there again when we visit the area again. Perhaps in warmer weather so we can walk around the property and view the flowers . Highly recommend this Airbnb 😊

I loved the off-the-grid lifestyle; it was incredibly clean and cozy. Cheryl was an attentive and thoughtful host, always quick to respond and provide anything we needed. The highlight was lounging in the tub, soaking in the breathtaking view of the field while listening to music— or just reminiscing in the cute cabin hanging out by the fire place absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing escape.

We absolutely loved staying here! It was very big and comfortably fit all of our bridal party for our wedding. There were also lots of bathrooms which was extremely helpful when we were all getting ready. Toni was incredibly kind and very responsive in case we needed anything. We will treasure our memories form this weekend forever!

Great house for the whole family. I was worried about staying here with my 4 month old, thought the old house would be creaky or drafty but sleep was no problem at all and for an older building the cooling/heating system works phenomenal! Very cute decor and perfect for taking candid photos of the family vacation. We will definitely be coming back!!

The 3 Bears Vineyard was just wonderful. We had our girls trip here and everything was great! Spacious kitchen, cozy TV room and wonderful hot tub! Close to Niagra Falls & Niagra on the lake with loads of fun things to do and wine to taste. Definitely would stay again, thank you so much to our host V ! Great help with activities and super responsive! 10out of 10 stars!!
