Cottage vacation rentals in Lake Ontario

Our family of 10 adults and 2 children had a wonderful time at Matt’s lake house. The home was well equipped and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the outdoor seating, pool, hot tub, yard and lake. The large kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook our meals. We loved the secluded, quiet location and the eagles. . We enjoyed a day trip to Niagara on the lake and Niagara Falls. Thanks for a great week.

Every corner of the place felt warm and welcoming, but what truly made our experience special was the host’s incredible kindness and hospitality. We felt genuinely cared for and completely at home. I can't put into words how peaceful this place was. If fate allows, I've already made up my mind to go back!! The house is super spacious, clean and well stocked. Elena did a great job in creating such an inclusive and beautiful home. 5 stars + 3! Everything was seamless and caused us no issues. Thanks so much for having me!

We were 8 guys (with possible of more) coming to see a sick friend who is unfortunately nearing the end of life. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. The weekend was quite cold but the place was welcoming enough that we mostly stayed inside and caught up with old friends. Thank you so much for accommodating our group, you have a very special home!

The Shell Cottage was a great place to spend our vacation. It’s close enough to the falls, but with enough distance to avoid the craziness. The view is spectacular and we got a front row seat to the aurora borealis show from 10/10/24. The house is equipped with everything you will need, and the linens and towels were clean and smelled good. The hosts are great too, very responsive and personable. I would rent this place again in the future without hesitation. We created the sweetest memories and for that we are very thankful.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the beach house. It was so beautiful and exactly what we needed. We felt right at home. To unwind in the hot tub after each meal was just perfect. The bedrooms are gorgeous as well as the bathrooms. The restaurant across the street was a little bonus if you did not want to cook. The beach was only a ten minute walk right into the main strip with restaurants and little shops. We are already planning to come back in the summer. We would recommend this place 100% to everyone. Thank you again for the stay :)

Wonderful view. A regenerative escape. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit were a great way to relax and watch the swans drift by. The one note: physical challenges would make access to the beach and second floor difficult.

A lovely, cozy cottage perfect for a couple’s getaway. Homey decor, very comfortable bed, decent water pressure and a wonderful little kitchen with pans and utensils needed for home cooked meals. We had a wonderful time feeling at home and comfortable here. The host is friendly and responsive and gave very easy and clear instructions for arrival and departure. Would definitely stay here again.

Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

The beautiful surroundings and well-equipped facilities make it ideal for a relaxing stay. It comfortably accommodates large groups, especially families with kids. The coach house is a stunning, peaceful retreat from the every day. Not only does it look like a space straight out of Architectural Digest, but it feels warm and inviting, private and peaceful. (So very insta-worthy in its decor and aesthetic.) Kieran and Tara (and their sweet pups 🐾) were wonderful hosts. Quick to respond and very helpful. The location is perfect as it’s only a few minutes from Cobourg and St. Anne’s spa.

Beautiful and peaceful lakeside cottage! We had a great stay. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. It was very spacious and had good amenities.

Thank you so much for the perfect getaway stay! Everything was as described and more. Perfect sleeps were had, kitchen was well equipped for all the late night creations, comfy reading spots throughout the home. Comfort levels were absolutely met! We enjoyed it immensely and can't wait to stay again soon.

We had a great time at the Crystal Cambridge Cottage! Check-in was easy with a simple code entry lock, and the place was cleaned well before our arrival. Jeff gave me a call to provide some details about check-in and things to do in the area, which was helpful. The back area is really pretty at night with the string lights, and being fenced in, a great and private outdoor area to relax. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the walk into town is relatively brief.

Beautiful property on Lake Simcoe with more than enough room for everyone we absolutely loved our stay and requested to stay longer but unfortunately it was committed to other guests. Great hosts, great communication. This property is the place to stay if you are looking for a spacious, lakefront property with privacy in Innisfil which is very hard to find. Highly recommended!

Elsie has an amazing little cottage nestled with great river views and direct access to the waters. The place was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials. My only feedback would be to extend the checkout time to 11 am and to have some lights installed near the fire pit.

Brian and Melissa’s place is lovely. Very clean. Furniture and beds extremely comfortable and great location across from the Lake and about 5-7 miles from the cute town of Skaneatles. We were there on a rainy night but did take the short walk across the street to the dock which was beautiful. It’s a nice place even on a cold rainy night with the electric fireplace and comfortable couches! I’m sure it would be a great summer spot too!

Highly recommend this cottage! Beautiful views right across the street from the lake. Comfortable beds, 1.5 baths, it was perfect for a girls weekend getaway with 5 girls. (2 shared a room, one slept on a futon in the living room) but plenty of space and comfortable! The first night our heat wasn’t working, I messaged Catherine and she came over right away. She was helpful and got the heat working and super prompt. Definitely want to go back!!!
