Spent 3 nights at the hut and absolutely loved it. So peaceful, cozy, warm with great views. Andy and Emilie were very accommodating, providing us a high chair and cot for our little one. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful serene stay. Thanks again!!

Eve's place is a delightful cottage, designed beautifully and truly feels like a home away from home. Check in was extremely easy, the home was extremely clean and it was so lovely to have tea, milk and water provided to enjoy throughout the stay. The garden is stunning and the view of the gold course makes Eve's place a gorgeous stop for any traveller exploring New Zealand. I would highly recommend Eve's place.

We would recommend this place to anyone staying the night in Lake Tekapo! They have the best views all around, front view is of Lake Tekapo and back view is a golf course. The living area is very spacious perfect for a family trip. The beds and bathroom were very comfy and clean too.

The location is perfect - walkable to the lakefront shops and supermarkets yet private enough to that it's peaceful. We really appreciated the heated flooring - it made showering in the 0 degree weather. Wish I had found out about the 'mini library' in the TV console earlier!

It’s a small space but functional if you are mostly using as a base to sleep. There’s a little private sitting area next to the room for a morning tea but we had bad weather and couldn’t use it. The bed is really comfy though. We are getting older and soft beds are painful for our backs but this place had a nice firm bed.

Fantastic experience. Had booked another place listed as two-bedroom and it was only one with an out building. Scrambled to find another and was able to request and get a quick response from Deb for last minute booking! Communication and house were just what we needed for two couples! Actually had another bedroom we didn’t use. Three bedrooms, two baths, two seating/living areas, and a kitchen and kitchenette. Would book again, easily!

An amazing stay! • Perfect location: Close to the subway station, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby—super convenient for getting around and exploring. • Cozy room: Simply decorated but super comfortable, with great natural light. Kitchen, washing machine and other facilities are all available, making it feel just like home. • Thoughtful host: Shared detailed check-in instructions in advance, always responsive to questions, and even recommended some local hidden-gem attractions. Loved the experience! • Great value: Reasonably priced, much more spacious and cost-effective than hotels in the same area. Will definitely stay here again next time! 😊

Where do I begin?! From the warm welcoming as I drove up to the "unveiling" of this tranquil and beautiful yurt - everything was spectacular. Randall and his Wife Amanda are simply wonderful humans on top of sharing an amazing accomodation and their really peaceful land/oasis. The yurt itself is so unique and calming - well outfitted and incredibly comfortable bed. The stars....the STARS! wow. You can see them from the bed through the top circular skylight. I purchased the breakfast and I would highly recommend you do too - farm fresh eggs, delicious bread and really thoughtfully presented too. Speaking of, loved that they had a sign with my name welcoming me too..felt right at home. Will def be back!!! Thanks guys!!!

A great stay, we were extremely comfortable and loved having the place to ourselves. The house (particularly the kitchen) was furnished with everything you’d need, and felt more like staying in a friends holiday home than an AirBnb. Great books to read and CDs to listen to as well which was a fun trip down memory lane. Wifi worked well too so best of both worlds!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the evening stargazing. In addition to the converted shed mentioned in the listing there were also a couple of tents erected on the property, but we didn’t see anyone during our time staying at the house.
