Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lake of the Woods

Cute little heritage cottage, which was surprisingly quiet considering there is a large apartment building next door. Overall we found the space clean, comfortable and decently equipped. Kitchen has basic spices, electric kettle and toaster, a Keurig, and microwave. The hosts thoughtfully provided some complimentary coffee/tea and popcorn. Bedroom was compact but the bed and pillows were very comfy. Bathroom was functional, but definitely could use a bit of sprucing up to make it great. Shampoo etc. was provided. We especially loved the spacious sunroom with big, bright windows, and comfy sectional and that it was pet-friendly. Off-street parking was a plus. Karl and Aldrin were always helpful and responsive, and even came to shovel the snow from the driveway for us! Thank you for a great stay, we hope to return next time we are in Winnipeg!

The communication with Morgan and Damon was fantastic! They were so friendly, and the instructions were perfect. The house was clean, and well furnished. It looked as I expected it to. The area is quiet and safe, in fact the neighbours were very friendly. I would 100% recommend!

We always look for this Airbnb 1st when traveling to Winnipeg. Great big house that feels like a home, comfortable and peaceful quiet neighborhood. Tony is super responsive and friendly. Another great stay for our family.

Hosts were incredible. Very helpful and accommodating and worked hard to make it a really great experience for my family. The house is beautiful and homey with plenty of yard space for the kids. Definitely worth it to stay here!

This location proved to be an ideal location for our family, brother's family, and our parents to meet. It was cold outside, so we enjoyed a cozy fire, along with soaking in the large outdoor hottub. The separate gaming area was also a popular place to be. The kitchen was newly renovated and had plenty of good knives. The coffee area was well stocked with good teas and coffee. Our hosts were attentive and responsive to our messages, and we could tell they had gone the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. It's a wonderful place for a family reunion. There is sufficient bed space and areas, so that you can all have your own space, yet enjoy being together. We highly recommend and hope to visit again some day!

This cabin is amazing and wonderful if you are looking for a perfect place with friends and family. Our host was very helpful and responsive with questions we had. My friends and I had an amazing time and look forward to coming back.

Excellent stay! Super clean place, we stayed in winter and had a great time. There isn’t a shower in the cabin (as stated in the listing) but that didn’t impact our stay even a little bit. A very relaxing, much needed get away. I would absolutely recommend! The place had absolutely everything we needed and then some. Bring books, board games, and enjoy the amazing scenery :)

Lovely spot in the forest to slow down and soak up some nature. The cabin is well stocked with movies & games and was very cozy. We enjoyed the sauna and natural pool for a cold plunge as well as the walking trails on the property. Sandilands Park is a short drive away for more trails

Lovely cabin. Clean linens, bathrooms, full size kitchen, living room. The fireplace in winter is an added benefit. Nice location close to Bemidji and Buena Vista ski resort. Great family get away. Though the restaurant isn't open in the winter, the pool and store have limited hours for use.

Awesome location, big dock, and beach...a few steps from the cabin to the water (you can hear the waves from the bedroom window). I have rented a lot of cabins in the past...Art's cabin has the best water frontage I have ever seen! The fishing is incredible, we were there 9 days and fished a different spot every time. My son and I caught well over 120 fish over the 9 days, including several large Walleys that we cooked up! Lot's of small mouth bass, and of course endless northern pikes! My truck broke down, and wouldn't be fixed until a couple of days after we were to check out. I told Art about this issue and he made some arrangement's so we could stay a couple of extra days until my truck was fixed. He went out of his way to make things work...it could have been a disaster, but instead we got a couple more day's of fishing in! If you like being on the water and love fishing, this is the place for you! I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Art for your great hospitality!

My family had such a great time. Martha was very warm and responds quickly for any questions! The property is beautiful and my kids had so much fun in the pool. The camper is clean and comfortable. The cherry on top of a peaceful evening around the fire was Martha's handsome black lab, Jack. He is the sweetest boy! Thank you for a great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at the little cabin in the woods. Glenn was an excellent host, answering all questions and was friendly and accommodating. The cabin was super clean, incredibly cozy and had everything we needed and more. The bed was super comfy, linens were all clean and there was ample towels. We loved the outdoor sitting areas and had so much fun playing darts and horse shoes. We're already looking forward to coming back again!

As always, your cabin is the PERFECT spot for us to stay and get away. We can’t say enough about it being the perfect accommodations with a beautiful setting and all the comforts of home. I sleep better here than my own bed at home. My only regret is that we can’t stay longer. Anytime we need lodging we always check your availability first!! Thank you again for allowing us the pleasure to stay.

We had a lovely stay! Amenities were everything we’d need and more (two coffee makers, yay)! And location is excellent and as close as you can be to everything you’d want to do in the Side Lake area. Very quiet and cozy for a winter weekend away, looking forward to coming back in the summer! Google Maps tried to send us next door so had a hard time finding in the dark, but just watch for the address off the main road and it’s easy to find!

Had a wonderful stay here! Me and some bridesmaids including the bride stayed here the night before the wedding day and it was super great! We were not too far from the Rustic Wedding Barn Venue which was a plus!! We were all quite stressed with all the wedding stuff so having a night away in a peaceful location was much needed and we enjoyed it so much! There were two cats that welcomed us there as we arrived which was my favourite part! Thank you for a great stay Shane and Mandy!

Lovely older rental. Everything needed was there. Picturesque area with lots to do. Tons of nice streets to walk our dog. Great little shops and restaurants within walking distance. Brad was quick to respond with any correspondence. Would stay again. Tks Brad.

Stayed here with 4 of my girlfriends and we loved it! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway!!
