Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake of the Woods

This place is BEAUTIFUL!! Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location could not have been better. Especially with trying to see the Northern Lights, this place was everything we needed. The dock looks north, the sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing, and plenty of plates and seating for our group. Grocery store and town was close. One note to those staying here, don’t forget shampoo and other toiletries for your stay.

Place was nice and quiet, a fun getaway with a great family game room. They have a nice dock with decent fishing: we caught a couple of large mouth bass and pike. Beautiful firepit and front porch to watch great sunsets. We enjoyed the sauna, cornhole and outdoor space. Unfortunately the deerfly were a bit annoying making it hard to be outside at times. Would recommend bringing a boat or kayak to get out on the lake. We would come back again.

I've stayed at many air b&b's all over the country and David's house was the best stocked place I've seen. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking utensils. The bathrooms had tons of towels. The house is cozy and the scenery is beautiful! We are planning on coming back next year!

Perfect place for the family to stay on our ice fishing trip. We definitely overpacked, because the house provided pretty much all the things we packed aside from food. The beds were really comfortable and the place was very clean! The owner was responsive, helpful, and very nice. We are looking forward to staying here again!

The home is right on the lake and very comfy. We were there during the springtime and there was a huge blizzard, so it was very picturesque with all the snow. (Thanks to the owners for shoveling us out.) The spot has everything you need and was clean. A great location for exploring kenora.

Brian's place was a nice place to stay. I thought it was nicer in person than what the pictures reflected. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed with family for ice fishing vacation. We had such a good time. Favorite part is all the fish we caught and the easy access to drive onto the lake. Very clean. Would visit again.

It was lovely. Shannon gave great, detailed instructions which made everything easy to find. The cabin was super clean and had lots of room. It felt honey and we were very comfortable. We had all the amenities listed and when we had any questions she responded right away. We would absolutely go back.

Chris condo was just has described, very clean and neat. Nice view and great location close to everything and everywhere in the city. Thou the microwave isn't working and host promised to send someone to fix who never showed up and we had to eat our food cold. Aside that everything was okay and I would love to come back.

We stayed at the White Pine Airbnb honeymoon suite over the Easter long weekend and it was everything we needed — peaceful, serene, and beautifully cozy. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly relaxed with the breathtaking views of the lake,.The suite was spotless, best bed with wonderful view of the lake, so tastefully decorated, kitchen had everything needed from coffee to spices and wonderful bamboo hardwood floors. Surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a calm and peaceful atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend for couples looking for a tranquil getaway!

It was just perfect! It was my first Airbnb in Canada and felt like the best place to spend a relaxing time. Farzi, in one word “Superb!”. She is soo caring and communicative, made sure I felt like home. The house was clean, well decorated, maintained and the bedroom was really comfortable. This was our third AirBNB in this area and we agreed it was our favourite. Very well laid out for 2 couples. Great kitchen and dining space for cooking meals together. Beautiful bathroom. The hot tub and fuse ball table were lovely perks! So was the gas fireplace. We could keep the space at a comfortable temperatures Although there was not a lakeside view from inside, a quick 30 second walk around the house got us there. Beds were comfortable - one room had a softer mattress than the other which accommodated different preferences. Instructions were very clear with lots of local recommendations. We would come back!

We were passing through Kenora for work and ended up staying two nights at Serena’s place! We enjoyed our evenings in the beauty that is the backyard, on the dock, and on the lake itself! Wish we were able to stay longer, thanks Serena for the great place to stay!

The home as absolutely amazing! Incredibly clean, easy to find with clear instructions on how to get in. We were in awe at how much was provided. If you had forgotten anything there was a good chance it was available! Overall it was the perfect place for a nice relaxing weekend.

Great spot on the lake. Tom was a great host, always responsive and even went as far as decorating the house for the holidays!

Quaint and peaceful cottage on the water. Not a lot of frills but just the space to get away. It was affordable compared to other places in the area and since I did have to work, it was nice to have reliable WiFi!

Cabin was clean, organized and in a beautiful location. We used the loft which was a great added space. Hosts respond quickly when we had questions. Enjoyed ice fishing on the river right next to the property, neighbor had plowed a nice walking path along the river! We really enjoyed our time, hope to come again!

What an amazing place! We loved spending time here and enjoying nature. Our 3 year old did not want to leave “the brown house” and did not want to leave Canada! We did star gazing outside the house one night and a cozy movie night inside the second night. During the day we went hiking across the border. We are already considering visiting again.

Quiet location. Very clean cabin. We rented both sides of the cabin and it is perfect for 2 families.
