Beachfront vacation rentals in Lake Michigan

This was our first trip to Michigan, and Jason’s Airbnb was the quinessential experience; tasteful and unique touches of Michigan were present in decor or in local sourced treats like Michigan produced Maple Syrup. The property…wow, is right on the lake. The deck extends out over the water giving you the sense you’re on a boat. It was immaculate and the owners make sure you have everything you need for an amazing time on the lake. My personal favorite was firewood for the fire pit and all the ingredients for a smore. Jason was prompt and courteous in his communication. Check in and out was easy. The community was welcoming and there are things to do within walking distance: bowling, boating, restaurants. We would definitely return.

My family had such a nice stay at Waylon’s place! It was incredibly relaxing. All the beds are comfortable. He has a ton of huge tvs! All the custom wood pieces are really cool. Nice bathrooms and the sauna was amazinggggg! We used it multiple times a day. Dogs loved the private backyard area and little canal and we had a lovely bonfire 🔥 in the backyard! 15 mins away from a really beautiful nature preserve and hiking! We had great day trips to lake Geneva. Waylon was an amazing communicator and really flexible during our stay. He truly went above and beyond!!! Thank you, Waylon!! We would 100% recommend!!

Now that I have stayed at Jack's home @ 5 times, I can easily verify that every moment spent in that home is magical - steps away from a walk on the beach, the methodical waves lapping on the shoreline, and the majestic sunrises reflecting on the water combine to provide a therapeutic sensory experience that delivers 24 hours each day. If that isn't enough, there are fabulous coffee shops, restaurants, and bars that you can walk to as well as many others a short drive away. No - Jack does not pay me to write these reviews ... the reviews write themselves. Enjoy!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Luke’s place was a great place for our families to meet for Thanksgiving. It was easy to find, the view was magnificent and the house was spacious and very well-appointed for a family gathering. We were surprised by a sudden very cold snap and we were able to quickly adjust the heat in the house and be cozy! As the chief cook, I appreciated the full kitchen with spotless new appliances, dishes, utensils, glassware. Family took walks in the light snow on the beach, walked to zoo, restaurants and neighborhood bars.

Wonderful place with a quirky, artsy feel. Complete kitchen and dining area, alcove for a second bed. Location is great - walked to beach with our doggy friend - who was made to feel completely at home.

Cozy place, very comfortable and clean. Met all of our needs for a weekend stay to check out The Sky Bridge and everything else Boyne. Would have appreciated having a coffee pot or more than 3 Keurig pods available at check in but overall met all of our expectations.

Mindy is a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed staying in the harbor and the easy access to downtown Racine. Would stay in the Irish Mist V again. Thank you Mindy

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

We absolutely loved staying at "The Nest" hosted by Charlie and Suzy. Unbelievable views from the condo and balcony. Warm and aesthetically pleasing fireplace. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen had tons of cooking utensils. Very quiet and remote resort. The pool and hot tub were very clean and nice. Overall, an amazing experience!!!

Ann was an amazing host. Her homemade breakfast was amazing. The home decor is one of a kind. She has every kind of amenities you could ask for. Exactly as pictured. We will love to return someday soon.

We absolutely loved our stay at “the dump”and rate this a 4.8! Photos do not do this place justice, it’s incredibly well maintained and perfectly beach themed with modern touches. The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed, including toddler friendly cups, bowls, plates (which was a bonus). Couch, kitchen chairs, pillows and beds were comfortable. Beach area is absolutely incredible, very large and there are shells which our toddler loved collecting. What would make this a 5 star: umbrella or shade structure for the beach when needed (it was super hot during our stay), deep cleaning of all cob webs under and around furniture, filters for coffee machine, dishwasher pods, laundry pods/detergent, luggage stands, hooks everywhere for clothes, bathing suits, towels, etc., filtered water brita or similar. Overall an amazing long weekend spent on the beach, we even added an additional day to our stay and it was super easy. Thank you so much; we will be back!!

Beautiful home in a beautiful place! Clean and comfortable home for our family of 6. Loved being able to walk down to the beach. Very peaceful. Lots of places to go explore the outdoors and Manistee is a lovely little town. Would recommend and would love to return!

My parents, siblings and our kids stayed here for the private beach (water is incredible and like glass- kayaks were a hit) and the location as we wished to visit Mackinaw Island. Close to shopping centers in Cheboygan and close to Mackinaw City. House was so great, clean and accommodating - we started looking at houses to purchase in the area for a future summer home. Amazing hosts!! So gracious and friendly. Duane and his wife really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home. I can't say enough good things about our experience. They really are the definition of super hosts!! They thought of absolutely everything! And the view will take your breath away!

Trestin was an outstanding host. He was knowledgeable about the activity our vacation was built around, and gave us perfect tips for timing, parking, and planning. When our vacation took an unexpected and unfortunate turn right at the end, he extended his hand to offer help was able to assist us in figuring out what needed to be done. We would reserve with him again upon our next visit.

Our family had a great stay. Bob & Jo kept the house very clean and well stocked. The view and experience was far better than we could have imagined. Looking forward to staying here again!

We had an amazing stay at this home! The location was perfect, and the house had plenty of space for our whole family. We loved being able to walk right onto the beach and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was the perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back in the spring! Highly recommend!

What a great way to spend time with the family. The house was clean and well furnished for our family of 5. The views from the sunroom were the perfect way to start and end the days. The kids loved the kayaks, too! Can't wait to go back!!!
