Vacation rentals with beach access in Lake Michigan Beach

We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

Upon arrival, there was some kind of misunderstanding with the cleaning people and it looked like our unit was not cleaned prior to arriving. We arrived pretty late but Michael responded very fast to my message and was able to get this taken care of right away for us. He was very accommodating and helpful. He sent multiple messages prior to the arrival date with helpful instructions on entering the unit and parking. The space itself was great and perfect for two people. Walking distance from the little downtown area and the river. We enjoyed our time in South Haven and would stay here again if we ever visited again!

This was a beautiful place with an excellent view of Lake Michigan. Both rooms had comfortable beds and setup with everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked, but we mostly ordered Grub Hub, lol. Loved spending time here and great place to hangout and chat with friends. It is right on the water and we really enjoyed watching the waves crash against the barrier. It is on the 2nd floor, but the stairs are not bad at all. Felt very safe and having the parking space is a great perk. Very commutative and checked in with us to make sure everything was fine. Would definitely stay here again!

Michelle's place has great access to the Bay area and greatly renovated. The primary bedroom with bath is gorgeous especially with heated tile floor. The second bedroom was a bit small but it was also comfortable. The second bath was behind the kitchen so the couple who used the second bedroom has to walk through the living room and the kitchen but it was not a big deal. We felt the coffee table in the living room was a bit small for four of us but again not a big deal at all. One thing we have noticed was the linen are high quality! And we paid the great price probably because it is early (water in Michigan lake was still pretty cold). Neighborhood restaurants were great and kitchen has all the tools and dishes for our first night dinner. We wished that we had access to outdoor grill but maybe it will be available during the summer. Great stay in small coastal town in WI. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed Jon Charles’ place. We were visiting Carthage College and it is a short drive to campus. It is a great location downtown. I’d certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the Kenosha area. It is exactly like the pictures, was very clean and well stocked. The host is very friendly and very responsive. Parking on the street was no problem and easy, even on busy Saturday evening. I would certainly stay at Jon Charles’ place again.

Rhonda was a wonderful host. The place was beautiful and the lake peaceful. We loved the firepit!

Holly and Mark are great hosts. Very responsive and went above and beyond to offer additional help and recommendations for travel, food, etc during our stay.

Walkable neighborhood. Great restaurants and 2 museums in walking distance. Enjoyed the relaxing apartment while being in Racine.

Mike is a fantastic host! He was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, which made our stay smooth and stress-free. The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We truly appreciated his hospitality and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area!

Well-maintained house, spotless upon arrival, great view of the area from the kitchen. Ice machine was a great touch especially with a bunch of people in the house! Would definitely come back!

We had a great time at Tim’s cottage. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It is in a great location, close to everything that southwest Michigan has to offer.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this rental! It the perfect size and location to all of the shops downtown and very accessible to the beach. The host was very responsive and so helpful with our stay. Highly recommend for a lovely weekend getaway!

This place was perfect for a friends getaway from Chicago!! We loved the fire pits and cozy vibe throughout the property. So lovely all the dog’s life decor❤️ We really enjoyed being so close to Three Oaks, Union Pier, and Warren Dunes! Thank you Pam, you were a great host!!

House was clean upon arrival, their suggestions for things to do in the area were helpful and check in/check out was super easy and convenient.

We had a great time here. The condo is in a good location and very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t utilize the pool or hot tub but we did scope it out. It looks like a great area to watch the boats come in and out of the harbor.

This place was assume and the location was walking distance to everything. Not water front, but a great view of the channel. We will be back!

Bob is a great host! This was our 3rd year staying at the Book Mark, we will be back next year for our annual fall get away!! The coffee & smoothies are fabulous, the baristas are so nice and helpful, the 10% discount on items in the bookstore is a great benefit and we try to take advantage of it each time we stay! We stayed here for a weekend away as a family. The view of the lake and beaches were amazing as well as the park right in the backyard. The place itself had everything we needed and was the perfect space for a get away weekend.

This was our second time staying at Allison’s condo. We felt right at home and enjoyed our time hanging out there with our family. It’s spacious, clean and close to the downtown. Thank you, Allison, for another wonderful stay!

Lisa’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway. My wife and I would definitely rebook this place for a future visit. The skybridge to the brewery and other shops was a nice touch and allowed us to get to the Main Street in town with ease.

Very clean, super beautiful spot. The whole city is walkable and as pet friendly as Brenden's place. Though, Brenden set a new standard for me when it comes to communication and customer service. There was a freak gas outage for over 5500 homes and businesses this weekend. And, even though this was something that was completely out of their control, we were met with empathy and compassion. Knowing we were there for a wedding we were generously offered to shower at Brenden 's home.. And, even though it wasn't expected and they certainly didn't have to, Brenden refunded us some money for the inconvenience. To me, it says a lot about a person to do the right thing even when they don't have to. Long story, short...this is an amazing place to book with incredible customer service!
