Modern Home, Amazing Beach View

My husband and I stayed here with 4 relatives from out of state when they were here to visit us and my parents, who live nearby. My aunt and uncle are elderly, and when we first arrived to the house, I was a little panicked, because I realized that the two steps down into the upstairs living room, as well as the slight level change and transition molding between the dining room and kitchen, were hazardous for frail octogenarians to navigate. However, Nasar and Aj were gracious to let us rearrange some furniture in such a way to created pathways and balance supports, and we were able to not only stay safely, but with great joy. On one of their last big trips of their lives, my aunt and uncle got to spend 4 days thoroughly enjoying the AMAZING views of the sound. And even when they were feeling under the weather and we weren’t able to go out on outings, they still got to live in this environment that so perfectly captured the beauty they’ve always loved about Western Washington!

We loved the location & solitude of the neighborhood. There were at least a dozen deer who passed through the yard & spent time sunning in the adjacent neighbor's yard for the afternoon. We were disappointed that the gate leading to the fenced backyard was broken/ knocked down & blocking the entry to the yard; therefore, we were unable to utilize it with our dog. In communication with Anita, she was not aware of it. The home had a good layout & was adequately cleaned with the exception of the pots, pans & dishes in the kitchen. We think perhaps the dishwasher isn't doing the job expected & guests were just putting things away unclean.

Aric’s description of his home was modest, as we found the space to be even more accommodating than described. Brad was a gracious host and the bottle of wine was an unexpected gift! Felt like staying at a close family member's guest home. The hot tub was spotless. Felt like we were the first to use it! The gas fire on the patio was a nice touch. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best for our weekend to use the canoe or kayaks or paddle boards, but we hope to come back another time and get to use those! Oh and the sound system for the tv was also awesome with a comfy couch and the king bed was very comfortable! Often places skimp on the bed and we slept very nicely on this one (not too soft or too firm, and didn't sink in the middle!). The shower with two independently controlled water temps was also very nice. Overall it was just a perfect place for a great price. Highly recommended!!

First off, I have to say, that Deniece was an excellent communicator. She responded quickly to any questions I had and I appreciated that immensely. It gave me great confidence ahead of our stay that she was indeed a super host and that our stay would be lovely. Upon arriving and throughout our stay the home not only met, but exceeded all of our expectations. The home and waterfront property were absolutely beautiful and everyone in our group was extremely happy. There were many nice touches, such as fresh bouquets of flowers, fresh cookies and scones, and wine with chilled glasses. The kitchen was very well equipped. You don't need to bring a thing! There were also plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Our granddaughter especially loved the Children's garden and we spent lots of time playing there. We all loved sitting on the deck and on the porch enjoying the beautiful waterview and sunsets. We will without a doubt, stay there again. Thank you so much Deniece and Rich!
