Beautiful, comfortable and cosy house nestled in a beautiful garden just walking distance from the most gorgeous dog friendly beach!! Golden sands and calm emerald waters beautifully clean with friendly dogs and humans. Many of the nearby walks are National Parks so no dogs but there's still lots of lovely bushwalkes that are dog friendly - plus of course the beautiful beach!! At night you can see so many stars!!! Very comfortable beds - my mother in law said it was the best sleep she'd had in years - and a great kitchen to cook big meals for the whole family!! Can't wait to visit again.

10/10 highly recommend and would stay there again. Fully stocked with lots of games and activities for both kids and adults. We experienced both sunny and rainy days, where we were either at the beach or in Michelle's pool, or indoors playing pool or board games. House was very clean and had space for everyone, including our dog. Umina shops were close by, and the beach was walking distance. Michelle's house is beautiful and homey, we felt comfortable and right at home. Thanks for having us!

Amy’s place was amazing and exactly as described. It was so clean we thought it had just been renovated, not a spot anywhere. Everything was well kept in cupboards, the beds were made really well and rooms really tidy. The living areas were well presented and the bathrooms looked and smelled clean with fresh towels on the beds. The kitchen was also fully equipped with everything you could need. It’s in a great location only 10 minute drive from Newcastle, the beaches and restaurants and the residential area is very quiet at night. Amy is also very responsive and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone thinking about it. We will definitely return if we are visiting Newcastle again in the future.

We loved our stay. Justin was so lovely! House was equipped with all your needs to cook, kick back, relax and soak in the most stunning view. Very spacious, never felt crowded (we were a group of 12), we went there to relax and that's exactly what we did. Justin is super friendly and accommodating and genuinely wants you to have a good time while there. This is an absolute waterfront property- it meant the kids can nap/early bed time and you can still be with everyone soaking in the view. We barely left the house (other than to buy groceries), it was just perfect,

We had a great stay. The property had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We loved the access to the kayaks and the easy walk to the Marina, pub and cafe. We hope to be back!

I had a wonderful stay at this serene and picturesque property. The tranquil atmosphere and stunning views made it a perfect getaway. One of my favorite experiences was collecting fresh eggs in the morning to cook breakfast – such a unique touch! I would recommend bringing or locating mosquito repellent right away, as the lush greenery around the house attracts quite a few mosquitoes. The host does provide mosquito repellent, but it’s stored in the cabinet, so it’s worth checking for it as soon as you arrive. The highlight of my stay was the kindness of the neighbors. I borrowed a pair of boots to walk down to the river, and a lovely woman next door went out of her way to find the right size for me. Although I didn’t catch her name, I deeply appreciated her helpfulness. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I would love to return. Thank you for sharing this lovely property!

Superb property and location. Private and spacious. The sensational balcony views and the plunge pool were perfect for our January stay. Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and their dinner recommendation was a hit. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a memorable getaway.

We had a great one night stay for a birthday with a few ladies. The back deck was perfect for a champagne and nibbles. Very relaxing. We were there to see a show at Avoca Theatre and found we needed transport to take us to our destination. Finding Ubers was difficult in this area. All in all was a very lovely place to stay. Sally was very quick in communicating which made our check in simple. Would suggest Sally’s place 100%. The ducks in the morning was a lovely experience, so cute. Thank you Sally we will visit again.

Lovely apartment for a couple. Kitchen was well kitted out and a great view from the balcony. A spacious bathroom with an excellent shower.

We had a great stay overall—the place was clean, comfortable, cozy, and in a really convenient location. However, there was a small issue that impacted our comfort: even though there were four of us staying, only two bath towels were provided. Aside from that, everything else was lovely, and the host was responsive and polite and we’d consider staying here again!

I really enjoyed my stay! Very beautiful location and close to the Bouddi Coastal Walk. This time I was by myself but I can definitely see my family going with me next time. 👌🏽

I met Madison in person for key pickup. Madison is really friendly and an amazing host. The apartment is gorgeous. It’s so much better than the photos and way bigger than I thought it would be. The tv in the lounge room is massive. Although I didn’t really have the time to actually use it, I bet it would make for a great movie night in. Absolutely in love with the size of the kitchen, amazing! Easy to find designated tandem carpark so you can take up the whole space or park two cars, one in front of the other. Great video intercom system. Easy lift access with swipe or you can buzz your guest up using the intercom. Only have to take one lift from basement to 3rd floor. The apartment is 30 seconds walk from the gym and the pool. The only fault, I was not a fan of the washer dryer combo, takes too long to dry, better off hanging out your washing to dry. But that’s so minor compared to how great this apartment is. Would love to stay again. Thanks Madison

Absolutely beautiful apartment, with a fantastic location and direct access right onto the beach. The place was super clean with loads of space and a well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable and we had a lovely stay. The nightly rate is quite high but nonetheless very worth it for the location! Would come again.

My large group had a pleasant stay. Large front/backyard and plenty of beds and seating for dining for our group. Only downfall was there’s no air con in some bedrooms but they do provide some fans. Recommend the house and great location to many attractions like the long jetty & the entrance!

This place is magical. We returned a second year in a row and this time was even better. If you want to get off the grid and forget Covid, masks and all the stresses of life, the Villa doesn’t disappoint!

The most amazing space, so close to the beach, honestly had the most amazing time, would recommend to anyone! So lovely for bigger groups as such an amazing house, 10/10

Matt's place is beautifully located to enjoy all that the Hunter Valley has to offer. It was very peaceful, surrounded by hills and vines. Kangaroo were jumping past and there were black cockatoos in the trees. We enjoyed family dinners around the large dining table. The house is well designed with two bedrooms in one part and two in another. We were very comfortable.

Ariel was a great host and the house was amazing. The house was very clean and had all the necessary appliances with a bonus ice machine. The game room was spacious.

The photos are extremely accurate, lovely two bedroom villa. We had a very relaxing time here, plenty of books and a few games to choose from to keep ourselves entertained as well. Aircon and fans in the bedrooms and living rooms. A well appointed villa in a lovely part of the world

Our third time staying at Brokenback & we will definitely be back. The villa is lovely and very well appointed, great location close by to all of Hunter Valley’s attractions. The veranda with a comfortable lounge is a highlight, watching the stars at night from there is magical.
