It's a gentle, short walk to your own NEW private covered dock with a side sunning area. This home has a king, queen and full / twin bunk bed. There is a Dollar General, Ingles, Walmart and some incredible restaurants...all within a 1 - 5 mile dr. We are also very conveniently located in VERY close proximity to the New Prospect Boat Ramp. Carolyn and her husband are so kind and helpful! Great communication throughout our trip and checked on our little dogs for us when we went out. They even provided a replacement crate when ours broke. Beds are so cozy, spacious area for relaxing with the tv, and a stocked coffee bar. The bathroom is super clean with a great shower and the counter space is large enough for 2 girls getting ready at the same time.

This home is a perfect getaway. It is off the beaten path, yet only 8 or 9 minutes from Highlands. It is well equipped for just about all of your needs and then some. The host was very responsive and even reached out to us to see how our first night went. I can’t recommend it enough. The only problem that we encountered was the strength of wifi, which obviously affects your streaming ability. With an AT&T and a Verizon phone, both had no signal while we were there. Beyond that, put your phone down and enjoy what you came to enjoy. You won’t lose all contact with civilization, but I would not recommend it for a business related retreat or a week/weekend where broadband access is crucial. Other than that, It is probably one of the most well furnished and well equipped Airbnb’s I have stayed in. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. It was a perfect couple of days for our honeymoon, and we are already looking forward to returning. PSA: Driving an SUV or a truck is advisable.

Christy’s home was perfect for our first Christmas away from home. The view of the lake was beautiful to wake up to every morning and we felt comfortable as soon as we walked through the door. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. She even left a S’mores kit - which we made good use of with the fire pit! Would love to come back here in the summer to make use of the lake and the kayaks!

Great place to stay if you want to get away. Quiet and peaceful. During the day listen to the birds and river flowing while sitting on the front porch reading a good book. At night watch the fire flies dace around the tress. Loved spending time in my hammock watching the river and the day drifting away. Had a great time unwinding.Will definitely repeat.
