Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Illawarra

My group arrived for two nights at Paula's in the afternoon after a full day of travel and site seeing around Sydney, we were exhausted, but the moment we walked through the door our moods just picked up! The photos and description of the house as amazing as they are, somehow do not do justice to the warmth of the house and the incredible generosity of the host! Everything you could think of to make your stay convenient and comfortable, Paula has already implemented it! The house was immaculate and everything had its place and use in the house. The beds were incredible comfortable, the instruction sheets around the house helped make using everything easy and the special touches like bread, milk, coffee, etc just made it so easy to settle in and put our feet up and relax! I can't thank Paula enough and will find any excuse I can to come back here very soon! Thank you so much Paula and look forward to our next stay!!!!

our family checked in quite late at night due to the long drive to sydney from ACT and then attended a funeral, however we were looking forward to a good night rest and Angelas home definitely catered for our overnight stay, easy access & instructions were clear, home was spacious and immaculate! loved it! highly recommend this beautiful place.

Well maintained place, close and walkable to shops and a great coffee shop. Great location if visiting friends and family in the area.

This was possibly one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. Everything you could want or need has was provided. Walking access to Collingwood Beach and close to local amenities. Plenty of room for a family of 3. Hopefully we have the opportunity to stay again in the future.

Mandy’s home was very clean and well appointed. We had a relaxing stay with our family and loved the outdoor table where we ate all our meals Thanks Mandy for a lovely weekend.

The cleanest Airbnb property I have ever ver stayed in. Was perfect for our visit to attend a nearby family Christmas Day. Very relaxing, great garage family room activities which made our family stay super enjoyable. Soooo comfortable. Many thanks for allowing us to stay.

Clean and spacious apartment in a central location - lots of excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance! My friends and I enjoyed our stay here very much.

Rosalie and Steven's place is set in my favourite part of Sydney. Rozelle and Balmain are filled with great restaurants, awesome pubs packed with history and boutique shoppings spots. The property is private, very comfortable and, well, it's just a great place. The hosts were so quick to respond, very hospitable and thoughtful. Most of all you feel like they designed the place with your privacy in mind. A must to consider if not a must to book.

Fantastic experience. Ashley's flat felt like the best combination of home and hotel. Crisp white linens, lots of fresh white towels, nice soap. And all the comforts of home-- space to unwind peacefully, laundry, an equipped kitchen, etc. The place has lots of natural light (and good shades to block it so you can wake when you want to). Ashley has lots of good posted instructions so you know how to use the place optimally, and he's super proactive and responsive as a host. FWIW, in my Air BNB experience, the host is what makes the most difference if you're traveling from afar. Strongly recommend this host and property. I hope to be back before too long.

Well equipped one bedroom ensuite with kitchen and lounge. Plenty of storage and very quiet neighbourhood. Close drive to the shops and beaches

We had a great stay here! The accommodation was clean and exactly like the photos, with all the essentials provided for a comfortable visit. The location was really good, close to the beach, cafes and seaside markets, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. Nin was a great host, quick to respond to any questions.

Julia's place was as described. instructions to enter the apartment was super clear. the apartment was as described with all the ameneties we needed including parking proximity to the airport was fantastic highly recommended

Brilliant stay in Bondi beach! Excellent location right on Hall street, lots of cafes and shops on the doorstep and an easy walk down to the beach. The apartment is quiet, facing away from the main street. Apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Helpful to have the balcony for drying clothes and an extra space to relax. We would stay again!

Great place with amazing views. It was what we needed for our one night stay. Loved it.

Jin was a very good host. He was very responsive, even when I send massage after 11pm his reply was prompt. Apartment was easy to find as Jin gave us clear instructions. Check In was smooth. Apartment was very clean and homely. Basic everyday use was there. Most surprisingly there were some toiletries that most airbnb won't offer. Really enjoyed staying at Jin's place. Will recommend strongly Kaniz & Family

There were 4 adults who stayed there. It was a fabulous condo and a great location. We enjoyed our time in Sydney. Steve was a great host.

Sophia's place was AMAZING! We were there to see a Hozier concert, and it was so easy to get to Qudos Bank Arena. The place was spotless, the view was amazing and we felt right at home. Highly recommended to anybody visiting the area!

This was such an absolute pleasure to stay in this gorgeous property. My family of 4 stayed here and it was so so good, we all loved it! The property is in close proximity to all of the Coogee & Randwick attractions. Huge thank you to Penny for hosting us in your amazing place. Penny was the most amazing, thoughtful , & attentive host & she was always on hand for anything we required. Subtle touches such as Xmas bed linen for our girls were so nice and made us feel right at home. The property itself was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed for our stay, cannot fault anything one bit! Our two little girls just loved the play “cave” which they are still talking about a week later. Wished we could’ve stayed longer but will definitely be returning when we are back in beautiful Sydney 🥰 Thank you!!
