Rock Campsite - Forest Stargazing Sanctuary

The "Rock" campsite is open to the sky, located in the middle of a meadow and surrounded by dense cedars, 10 minute walk away from the ponds. The private spot sleeps up to four and features an outdoor kitchen, picnic table, solar light, potable water, a small portable propane BBQ, fire ring and an outdoor composting toilet shed. Bring your friends and spend time birdwatching, playing music, making art, canoeing on the ponds and exploring the forest. Please note that tents are not included.

When culinary inspiration strikes, a shared kitchen is at your disposal, providing all the necessary tools to craft a delightful meal to savour under the open sky.

Group friendly. Experience glamping with the luxury of an outdoor kitchen. Start your mornings with the gentle sounds of nature and the peaceful flow of the nearby river. Spend your days exploring scenic wooded trails and your evenings around the campfire. We do offer a 9-person tent for an additional $75—perfect for couples or families who just want to arrive and relax, with little to no setup required. If bringing your own tent, you can choose your site anywhere along the river.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape! Our Riverside Retreat is a private campsite for four in the woods by the river. Our hobbit inspired hut sleeps two, the perfect setting for a magical overnight. There is a level site next door that's just the right size for a two-man tent. Relax around the fire pit, or sit on the boardwalk bench and listen to the river with your favorite beverage, or take a stroll around the farm and visit the gardens and animals.

Stargazing Glamping Tent

Unwind in our off-grid glamping tent nestled on 25 acres. Designed for stargazing, this cozy, solar lit space features a comfy bed, propane powered outdoor shower, rustic outhouse, firepit/grill, and a picnic area. There is no hydro or running water on property, the water for the shower will be supplied for you. Occasional tool sounds may be heard as we continue developing the land. Never early in the morning or late in the evening.

Welcome to Driftwood Beach Resort, situated on beautiful Lakelet Lake. Enjoy hiking, wildlife viewing, biking, swimming, fishing, organized activities, special events, and so much more, all within a short drive of the Kitchener/Waterloo region. Nestled in the forest, you will find our unserviced Timber Trail tent sites. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring for use during your stay. Tents not included.
