Sometimes you end up exactly where Mother Earth intends you to be. Cathy is a beautiful soul, her place is an extraordinary unique oasis that will rejuvenate you if you need & allow it. Although my stay was during Spring shoulder season Cathy’s place was breathtaking. I can’t imagine what it’s like in the summer. Her heart is in every piece of decor with a story and history lesson that will blow your imagination. She hasn’t missed a detail in any area from crafting each space to the comfort of her guests. No matter your reasons for choosing to stay at her location you’ve made a perfect choice if you take the time to experience it. Although steps from the waterfront to take in morning walks with a coffee and spectacular sunsets you need not go anywhere. Cathy’s place is a ZEN and peaceful atmosphere that invites you to breathe in downtime - in the sun, the rain, the sauna, the hot tub, by a fire or just snuggled up in one of her cozy blankets both inside or out! Feeling Blessed.

We had a wonderful stay at Stewart's place over the Labor Day weekend. The accommodation was lovely. The lakeside location provided beautiful views, and we appreciated the delicious breakfast each morning. The quiet neighborhood made for a peaceful retreat, yet it was conveniently close to the Barrie South GO station, making it easy to get around. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable stay!

The lakeside area is surrounded by vibrant trees in seasonal colors, providing a scenic view of the calm water. Multiple picnic tables and lounge chairs are arranged on the manicured lawn, while a sandy beach area is accessible for outdoor activities.

It was a very nice place amanda and josh were great they helped me with everything i needed. I even seen them go outta there way and help another guest fix a flat tire. The location was great and the food was very good. The only thing i could see that would make it better would be assigned parking so when the restaurant opens you still have a parking place when you are rounding in and out but the food is so good so i understand why its always packed lol.... i will definitely be coming back in the future.

my husband and I were very pleased with our stay at the River House. Blaine contacted us directly and made she he was available for any questions we may have had. the view of the facilities were amazing, the accommodations were clean, and very comfortable. great client care, and response time. nothing bad to say at all. highly recommend.

Only here for one night but Overall we had a great stay. ❤️We stayed in a room in the lodge. It was clean, comfortable and updated. I don’t remember reading in the description but just and FYI no AC but there are fans and we were quite comfortable. No hair dryer either but had my own. No TV but has WIFI. A mini fridge in the room. And a microwave downstairs for use which was handy to reheat some food we had brought with us. Only had appetizers available in the restaurant for dinner but Breakfast included was great! The property is an old fishing lodge and there are cabins around the property as well as the main lodge & a nice deck and live music. Some seating on the front deck would have been nice to sit on and there’s a giant great room that mostly just had stuff stored in it that we walked through to get upstairs to our room so it would have been nice to have seating by the fireplace there and tables and chairs with game to play but maybe that room is a work in progress. 😊

Loved staying at Lake Lauzon Resort. Pictures on AirBnB app don’t do it justice. We arrived at the location and rooms were clean and ready for us. Can see the lake right outside the patio door. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious with all linens, towels (even beach towels) for our use. Steps across from the room was the hot tub which we used pretty much every night. Also the fire pit for a bon fire was steps away. Small walk away had the wood fire sauna on a dock, which made it super easy to jump in the water after you heat up. Very small drive to Blind River or Elliot Lake where you can get dinner, play golf or hike. Sharon and her husband were fantastic hosts and willing to help with any questions or concerns. It being Canada Day weekend, everyone staying at the resort were treated to a live concert (Sharon’s husband’s band!) and fireworks across the Lake at a nearby beach. Highly recommend. We are already looking ahead to next year to find a time to book again.

I stayed here with my sister for a birthday evening. We had a great time and enjoyed the quiet of nature and beautiful surroundings. It was clean, friendly, quiet and felt like home. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very happy with our stay. Simple, basic with all the amenities. Just enough for a short-term ski trip. Here is some info for future users, hope this will be helpful and encourage you to book with them. It is a rental apartment/condo literally 4 minutes away from Boyne. There is a shuttle service every 30 min that can take your kids to the slopes area. No need to take your car to the parking lot of Boyne, you just use the shuttle. Mature kids can also use it on their own. When you book the property, pictures they show you are Not the one of condo you will be renting. Also when you book the owner itself does not exchange like a regular Airbnb owner would. They have an automated message that repeats the same message up until up you get closer to the trip. They do tell you that pictures you see do not correspond to that you will get, so you book and you are stressed, hoping to get something that works with your family (it worked perfectly for us) The apartment is in the Blue Green Vacation complex, not affiliated with Boyne but just as I said 4 min away. What you need to pay attention to is that we had the 2024 condo, and it is a second floor with no elevators. Blue green has all the amenities of a hotel, so they could send you help for the suitcases. (Needed a toothbrush for my son and they sent it our way!) Very clean and tidy, we asked for extra sets of towels and they brought them. There is some coffee to brew, some popcorn, and some hot chocolate. It was just a little strenuous to go down and up the stairs with our ski boots, but we made it. There is a washer dryer in the little common area. In the 2024 apartment there is a dishwasher, an electric fireplace, a full kitchen, it is like a 1-bedroom apartment. We were not disappointed at all. Very happily surprised. Basic, not luxurious but very decent “chalet “style life for few days We made good use of all the restaurants and activities that Boyne offers. Overall very happy with our short stay on MLK week end.

Great location near the mountain! Shuttle service available, but we didn’t use it. We got a lot of snow while there and the property manager was quick to clear our sidewalks. Loved the entry way closet for our gear before entering our unit. Everything was super clean!
