Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Houston

Absolutely fantastic stay! The place was great and had everything we needed. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood, with friendly neighbors. The host was incredibly warm, welcoming and responsive, making sure our trip was perfect. Would definitely stay here again—highly recommend!

Becky was a good host. She was responsive. I enjoyed the place because it’s walkable to the beach and has good access to stories around. House was clean but the refrigerator smelled a little “fishy” inside. Overall happy and satisfied.

Terrific hosts! We loved staying in this house. Kitchen is labeled so things were easier to find. The neighborhood is very nice. Location is great and easy to find. Not far from anywhere you need. The beds are very comfortable. We spent most of our time at the mall (there’s so much to do) but when we came back to this house we still continued some family fun playing pool and ping pong or sitting in the private back yard patio. Very relaxing and accommodating. Hosts were very responsive and provided clear instructions. We’d love to stay here again next time we plan a getaway!

We were very happy with our accommodations. House was clean, well stocked kitchen and short walk to beach. Rob’s house provided many activities for the kids and lovely fenced yard for our beloved dog. My grandkids were quite excited about our stay and we were provided with an early check in to get our holiday weekend started right away. Communication was outstanding and we look forward to our next stay! ( planning soon).

I loved this place!! Beautiful scenery and very peaceful. The front porch was so nice to just relax on the swing chair. I would definitely recommend booking this place if you love the serene and comfortable atmospheres:)

There was a situation that came up in the house shortly after we arrived but the host was very on top of it and quick to remedy the situation. Very attentive host and very nice property. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

The house was exactly as described and in the perfect location for my trip. Samuel was so commutative and helpful, and we will absolutely be staying there again!

Amazing place ! Well done This home is equipment like a home away from home everything needed and beyond I was amazed ! From shampoo to beach toys to towels to entertainment everything and beyond was in this lively decorated home This was amazing stay with a very nice and friendly Host that we got to know during our short trip ! The amenities were lovely the kids had a blast In the pool .. sadly the Spa had a leak but those circumstances no one can foresee

Location is great. Very walkable and close to lots of bars and restaurants. Because a lot of bars are nearby, it can be noisy on weekends. Would definitely stay again.

Marie helped us out tremendously. We had to rebook our stay due to another host canceling the day before we were expected to arrive. There was no additional deposit required to book with her and i loved that considering the last minute circumstances. Marie was very pleasant and anytime i wrote her she responded right away. The place was beautiful and comfy. Thank you for this amazing Houston experience.

Fantastic location! We love those convenient, close and walkable the area was. The hose was gracious and extremely responsive, so we didn’t have to work about communication. The apartment itself was clean and easy to get into, thanks to the host’s clear directions. We also appreciated the honesty about how busy the main street can be. We look forward to booking again in the future.

This is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. The kitchen had all the things we needed for eating in. The bedrooms were quiet. The patio was divine. Great birds in the back and perfect for our stay. Great walkable neighborhood too. Highly recommend!

The place was clean. Entry instructions were clear. Visitor parking is on the 5th floor only ( top of the building). Kids enjoyed the snacks provided by Melodie. Will definitely come back again.

This was the first family getaway since having babies and the entire weekend was a blast. The private connection to the beach and kiddie pool had me sold. Mary’s place was clean and had everything we needed to make simple meals. We had a family matter come up and Mary was super quick to answer and accommodate. My husband is already talking about going back for a kids free weekend. Overall, kids or no kids, I’d highly recommend her condo.

We loved the location. The beach was beautiful, so great to be able to walk right onto the beach from the complex. Moody Gardens is just a short drive away. The condo was clean and welcoming. My teen slept on the pull out couch and was comfortable. Walter was very proactive and guided us through every step. We had everything we needed, wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely like to come back for a future stay.

Very nice condo and amazing views. The parking and luggage carts were easy to find. The checkin/checkout receptionists were a little condescending and seemed to look down on the Airbnb guests (vs the owners). The condo itself was very beautiful and the amenities + beach view were fantastic. The whole family Loved this area.

Personally we loved that this little condo was down the strip from all the restaurants; provided peaceful surroundings and a not crowded beach experience. We did drive up ten minutes every night for dinner…we ate at The Spot, Doc Holidays and Rainforest Cafe. The condo itself was exactly as described; the bunk beds in the entry way was a perfect use of space to allow bigger families to have ample beds. Would definitely stay again!

Very relaxing, loved the pools and easy beach access. Just what I needed out of a vacation. I’ll definitely be back once the renovations are finished. 🙏🏻

Our stay at this condo was excellent. The unit was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized, making for a very comfortable experience. Its location is ideal—conveniently situated near a variety of restaurants, attractions, and local points of interest. Overall, it served as a perfect home base for our visit. We would certainly choose to stay here again in the future.

I always live staying at this condo. There is lots to do and see, or if I just want to relax a little it is very quiet. Diana is always easy to communicate with.

Tremendous host of a convenient spot to stay on the island. Sri was very accommodating, even made sure we had a pack n play for our 14 month old who had no issues adjusting to a new place for the week.
