Cozy home with stunning views of the lake and mountains. We could sit on the decks for hours. Owner was very friendly and communicated well. Would definitely return!

The Red Cabin Ranch was beyond adorable. Situated in an Oak Grove, there are plenty of swings, benches, and even horseshoes to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. A facade of Old Temecula adds to the charm. Everything you need is provided inside. Bottled water, ice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and marshmellows, candy, snacks and even poop bags for my pup. The decor is perfect and the place is spotless. Close to the wineries - between 7 and 15 minutes away. Great area for a morning walk. Super private too. Amazing stay!!!

We stayed for two nights at this beautiful house with an amazing view. Located on a hill, we were able to relax on the balcony while enjoying the sunrise, sunset, and stunning evening skies. The indoor jacuzzi with its large windows was also excellent. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and communication with the host was quick and smooth. There’s also a peaceful and beautiful hiking trail behind the house. We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful home to have my family and I stay in for my wedding that weekend. The home was able to accommodate us and had a lot of character. Wendy was a great host!

Alan has such a great location, and amenities. This is my third stay and I would absolutely stay again. If you’re interested in exploring downtown Vista there is not a better location to start from.

The stay was amazing, I booked this place at the last moment as the place I originally booked was nothing like the listing. I was hesitant at first, but I actually met her while she was at the house and she is so sweet and she eased all of my anxieties. I was traveling alone to visit my husband on base and as a young female along I was worried but she assured me of how safe the area was and how kind the neighbors were. This is the guest house and during my stay the main house had visitors as well and we didn’t have many troubles with them I will state that the houses could have better sound proofing, we could hear everything that was happening upstairs in the main house and one of those visitors mentioned they could hear me as well. The parking is a little difficult, the driveway is very steep and I would recommend she puts the address by the driveway somewhere, it was difficult for my husband to find it at night time

Micheal and Anne were thee BEST host we ever had! They went Above and Beyond for our stay! The homemade Banana bread are to freaking die for!💚 and coming from a 4 hour drive to a place with wine and such a beautiful view was such a bonus. I love the fact that they interacted with us, gave us directions to the oceanside and overall answered our messages even if they were 12 at night! Thanks for best birthday weekend ever.

What a great find in the desert! Golden Sands was the perfect home-base for our exploration of Anza-Borrego State Park. Easy access to hiking trails and the visitor center. The "cowboy hot tub" was the perfect thing for soaking tired muscles after days of hiking. Sitting out under the stars was the perfect end to the day. The house was clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We did some cooking at the house, and the kitchen proved adequate for our needs. I highly recommend this place!
