Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Gogebic

From the minute I booked, Justin was on it. I’m sure Dawn is just as kind. Exactly what we were looking for at a nice price. Clean and convenient. Trail was a block away, we rode. Thanks Justin and Dawn! We had a great stay.

The accommodations were as described. The place was very well kept and clean. The large room upstairs over looking Portage Lake is beautiful. I would highly recommend. Hope to return next year

What a great place! Lots of space for our group of 7. Only a 13 min easy drive to Brule, and very close to places to eat. Beautiful view of the lake! The house is super cute, well decorated and had plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs. Lots of games by the fireplace to keep you entertained too. You will definitely enjoy your stay!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! It was an up north oasis! The crisp winter air, the pines looking over the frozen lake, the fresh winter snow…perfection! The home was cozy and warm after a day outside. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. We will be returning for a future weekend away!

Great family vacation. This place is lovely and peaceful yet not too far away from town for groceries and other activities. The extra amenities: kayaks, paddle board, and pool table are great touches. Loved being able to explore the lake.

Beautiful huge cabin on the lake! Comfortable bed and linens. Aaaand pet friendly. My little family and I really enjoyed our time in Iron River and did a lot of exploring. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. They helped save our weekend.

Keith and Julie were engaging hosts and their cabin was peaceful and comfortable. Keith fired up the sauna for me and it was terrific. It reminded me how much I like saunas. I was even greeted by a Pileated Woodpecker and three Bald Eagle sightings. Thank you.

Mark & Wendy's cabin was exactly as pictured - cute & cozy! They were extremely responsive hosts and gave us great recommendations for things to do/places to eat in the area. I was curious if the cabin would be covered in dog hair/smell since they are allowed (which was wonderful for us, as we brought our puppy), but there were no signs of dogs other than some chewed up furniture. The lake access will be especially wonderful in the summer. We'd definitely stay there again!

Loved our couple days at Mark & Wendy’s! Such a unique little place and beautiful surroundings. So happy that they accommodated our two pups as well. We’ll definitely be back when the weather warms up a bit!

Rich and Kitty have a wonderful place on Anvil Lake. It’s quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A great place to get away and you’re only 15 minutes away from downtown Eagle River.

We had a fantastic time for a winter weekend getaway. The listing was accurate, the unit was very clean and spotless, and check in and entry was easy despite plenty of snow. Thanks for a great home in this winter wonderland!

Anna sure has a beautiful place. It was very peaceful, I felt very at home and it's on a gorgeous lake. It was awesome having access to the kayaks and paddle boards. I look forward to coming back here with my family someday.

We have stayed at Gail’s other rentals before and they have all been excellent. She’s flexible and easy to work with, and provides a clean place to call home for a few days. We will be staying again in the future!

This home’s location could not be better—it is nestled in the trees right on the lake and just steps aways from the ski hill allowing you to ski in and ski out! It was down a winding and hilly road that was easy to find with Marks instructions; I was grateful for the all wheel drive on our vehicle to get us there :) The house itself is also very impressive—it was beautiful, well constructed, clean and well stocked. Mark and his brother were super responsive and very friendly. We had a great stay!

The cabin was a great spot on Echo Lake, we enjoyed nightly fires by the fire pit. The cabin was close to town and shopping. Restaurants were easily accessible and delivered to the cabin. It was nice to have paddle boards and kayaks available for our kids. The dock was nice and we caught sunnies and perch off the dock. Chris and Janice were extremely helpful and responsive. Great hosts!

Our family enjoyed a beautiful weekend together! Lori has thought of absolutely every detail and beyond, to provide the best accommodations, thoroughly stocked home, updated, clean, and perfect Lake Superior getaway! We loved her binder full of local suggestions, area waterfall and trail maps, helpful instructions for airbnb operations, even providing special UV lights and info to search for Yooper-lite rocks. Loved the games, books, and so much more! The beach has several miles of walkable shoreline and glorious sunsets right out the back door. Just a short drive to the entrance to the Porkies! We will definitely be back, thanks for a lovely stay!

Everything was clean and the view of the lake was beautiful. Kitchen had everything we needed, and it was great to have laundry facilities on site. We also went to a couple of great restaurants in the area. We'd recommend the Eagle Waters Resort restaurant and the Friendship House restaurant (in Eagle River.) It was very quiet and there was very little light pollution. One night was very clear and I saw the Milky Way and some shooting stars. Great place to take your dogs. Two indoor crates are provided and the sofas already had fur covers on them. I can imagine it's also a great place if you don't have dogs, but why would you want to live like that? Be aware that the beds are a little high; this might be important if you are not very tall. I'm 5'7" and the master bed came just above my waist. The queen bed was maybe 6-8" lower.

Beautiful home and attentive host! Sam is very thoughtful and thorough. We appreciated the attention to detail and information on the house and area. Sam is easy to communicate with. We found the location great for activities in the Iron River area. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Perfect for our group of six. We loved the view from the kitchen and enjoyed the cozy TV room. Really liked the bed and bath arrangement. One consideration: our winter gear filled the small entry way as there is no real place for coats or ski gear. That said, we would definitely consider staying again! The lake during the summer would be wonderful!
