Such a beautiful peaceful place to stay about 10 minutes from town Very relaxing, peaceful surroundings. Sound of Kookaburras. Wallaby’s in back yard, beds were comfy lots of amenities. House was clean and tidy lovely cottage. Loved the lead light doors and lights feature over bed. Lovely views from every window The only issue we had was trying to find the keypad located on the front door, the security door gets stuck and you have to really pull it to unlock door if the door could be fixed or replaced would be beneficial as it kept getting stuck and it became frustrating. Besides one issue if you are looking to go away I would highly recommend

We visited the area for a local open garden event and the Stoneleigh Miners Cottage was the perfect weekend accommodation. We felt so warmly welcomed, with thoughtful touches throughout the home to make our stay not just comfortable but special. Our highlights were sipping port by the fireplace and a peaceful breakfast on the verandah! Tim was a friendly and responsive host and the local recommendations were great. We would very happily stay here again!

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous. It was spacious, beautifully decorated with many thoughtful touches. The beds were comfy, great bathrooms, a kitchen with everything you could need and the outdoor areas were so relaxing. There were records and guide books and lots of board games. We just had the best stay and wished we had been able to spend a few more nights. You can tell the home is really cared for and it is very welcoming.

My Husband and I had such a lovely stay in the Garden Loft. It was so close to the town centre which meant that all of the restaurants and cafes we had booked were within easy walking distance. The property itself was gorgeous and so unique. It was so cosy and we left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Angeline was also very responsive to the messages I sent and extremely accommodating. A beautiful country escape that I would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Beautiful little area, easy to find and clear check-in instructions, the spa was the perfect temperature, very clean and the perfect distance from town to be walkable but also nice and quiet and very private. The only issues we had was a lack of sponge or cloth to wash the dishes with but aside from that it was well worth it, I highly recommend

We had a lovely couple of days in this very homely and well setup cottage. Lots of well considered touches to make you feel right at home. Neal is a very thoughtful and helpful host. The town is a great base being really central to all the areas interests.. Recommend.

Ukamirra is a little piece of paradise situated in the Chewton Bushlands. Wake up to beautiful sunrises, the dawn chorus of birds and spend the day enjoying all that the area has to offer. The stone cottage has everything you could need for a relaxing get away and the kitchen is defintiely a cook's delight. Grant and James are gracious hosts!

We loved our stay here. The house is unique and comfortable, with beautiful lighting, furniture and textiles. Nicola was very accommodating and provided everything we needed. Appreciated the breakfast supplies like yoghurt, milk and muesli. It was perfect for our weekend stay with our little one. We wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a delightful place in a convenient location. It's a good mix of old and new, with lots of fun exposed brick and original features but also a modern kitchen and bathroom with all amenities. It has been thoughtfully decorated with antiques. The kitchen had all conveniences we could want, including a bonus soda maker. We struggled with the master bedroom mattress which is old and lumpy, led to back soreness. The windows don't keep out street noise which is a problem for light sleepers. Peter offered us a free extra night at no charge so we went up one day earlier than planned. That was very generous! We would love to come back and stay here again.

We loved our stay at the cottage and will definitely be back! The house has beautiful light, we loved the sun on the deck in the evening so much. The house has all cutlery, crockery, bowls, plates, cooking things you need. The shower is sooo good and the bed is super comfy. It’s an old cottage so there are creaking noise and some of the floor boards need work but it’s awesome and we highly recommend it!

Wonderful little cottage, great communication by host. Lots to explore in the home for adults and kids. Clean and warm. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature and rolling hills. The interior is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a weekend away. I loved the fireplace and the timeless furniture! The only thing that could improve would be that the shower pressure was quite low, and the hot water ran out very quickly! All in all though it was a fantastic stay!

This cottage would be ideal for a family that wants to explore Sovereign Hill and the wider Ballarat area. Easy walk to the club for dinner, other eateries close by.

Lynette's place was gorgeous with lots of lovely knicknacks adding to the atmosphere. I really wish we could have stayed longer, the town is so lovely, full of history and pretty scenery especially around the lake 😍

Had a wonderful stay. Cottage was delightful, super clean and very cozy. Chris was fantastic. Communication was excellent. Friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend both Chris and this accommodation. We didn’t want to leave.

Great little stay in Ballarat. Our family including toddler and dog loved May’s cottage. Sue’s instructions and communication was excellent. We have family in the area and have been looking for a pet friendly place to stay and this was perfect. We will be back!

We had an amazing stay here! It was a lovely home away from home. The nature at the cottage was beautiful. Elbert was a great host and shared the ins and outs of what to do in the area. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!! 🌿
