Barry and his home is so warm and inviting. Upon arrival - found a handwritten note welcoming me and that just made me feel right at home. No one does that anymore - that was so sweet. Home matched description and more. Loved cooking in the kitchen and I ended up asking to extend my stay to which was responded to immediately with a yes. I’m coming back! I just hope the place will be available for me to stay again because I suspect that I’d be back for a longer period of time next year. A must stay location.

The apartment was beautiful and so super clean!!! Everything looked better than in the photos!!! Super, super clean. Only complaint was that the hot water did smell very bad and there was no water pressure to shower. The host did warn us about the water so it was kinda expected and definitely not something they can probably control. Would def stay there again and recommend there place to anyone wanting a beautiful get away in a beautiful little beach town.

We had a great stay. Mike communicated well. The space was comfortable and it had everything we needed for a couple of nights. It was also great that it was pet friendly.

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Andy's place was amazing and comfortable! This was probably our favorite stay on Airbnb! It was exceedingly clean, and it had everything we needed! Andrew was extremely friendly and WE WILL BE BACK! Look no further- it was super close to Bear Lake and a short drive to Crystal Mountain. I cant say enough about the cleanliness and hospitality! A+!!!! Thanks for everything, Andrew!

12 out of 10!! The home was beyond amazing! Each room and space was beautifully decorated and provided a very calming energy. We brought all the food we needed for two days and never left the property! The home was so comfortable, inviting and pristine level of clean!!! Lara has thought of everything and there was nothing we needed that was not provided. Check in and check out where a breeze and Lara was always just a few minute message away when we had questions. We would definitely book here again when it was warmer so we could enjoy more of the outdoor amenities.

Very spacious clean claim very Very comfortable beds .... I had fun in the lower level.Playing ping pong with my son's .... I must stay. You really don't even have to leave the property. There is plenty to do...

The stay was exactly what I wanted. I wanted seclusion and privacy and that is exactly what I got. The place was perfect. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Sarah was responsive when I had questions and was always super helpful. Will definitely go back.

The property offered a greatly needed escape from city life. It was centrally located to Salt Lake and Lundington. The acreage was like a park for the dogs to run. It would be a great place to take kids to play. We especially loved these aspects of the property. We were able to relax around the fire pit after a long day on the dunes and being on the lake. Listening to nature and enjoying the stars was exactly what we needed. Getting back in touch with what really matters, the love of family and friends. A extraordinary revitalizing time with the natural surroundings. Deers were seen daily on the property. We enjoyed hearing the birds singing in the morning and crickets chirping at night. What a way to unwind from the big city life Cincinnati has. We will definitely come back to this property! Thank you Michael for allowing us this great experience.

Great place to chill and relax. Needed a little escape getaway to recharge this winter with my wife and pup. Place is cozy, jacuzzi was very relaxing, and over all had what we needed to enjoy our time. Couple things to note, if in the winter the heater is loud in the bedroom- may suggest earplugs or white noise machine. Like stated in the description their internet is sufficient for streaming, but doesn't have bandwith for much if any else. Host was very helpful and offered to send someone over to shovel as we were hit with a snowstorm the first night. Loved our stay, may come back during the summer!

Whiskey Flats was a great place to stay. It’s clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The fire pit and the Edison lights were a favorite…. Made for a very cozy evening by the fire. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay for our family. We try to visit family in Ludington on the Fourth of July every so often and this was a wonderful location. Rachel and the co-hosts were very responsive. Our family had a wonderful stay and from our experience in the area I can say that it was good value as well as Ludington gets very over priced and crowded on the Fourth of July, whereas Hamlin is more peaceful and comfortable. The condo was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s a little hard to get a three level to be the most comfortable temperature for everyone but that is just a problem for any three level structure. Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for amusement and the teepee with the fire pit was nice as well. We would happily stay again if they would have us.

This was a great place to stay! The townhouse was very clean and tidy and well decorated. It was very comfortable— great tv in the living room space, easy to adjust temperature in the space, lots of amenities (including items if you have small children). It was peaceful and easy to enjoy the natural surroundings. We also walked to the close by beach (only a quarter of a mile away). Sleeping bear dunes is an easy 1 hour drive away too. I highly recommend this listing and would not hesitate to return to it.

We would stay again. The location was great, walkable to downtown and beautiful view of the bridge. The beds were comfortable. We didn’t spend much time but it was the perfect spot to rest our heads.

We loved our stay at Diane’s charming apartment. The layout of the space is so efficient and roomy yet cozy too. The architectural details just add to the charm of the place. The tall louvre blinds are awesome. The bed is very comfortable and I particularly love the chairs in the living space. My very favorite is the misty shower! We found everything we needed at this place. Diane was wonderful and quick to answer any questions. There is so much to do in this town and the location is perfect, walkable to all and right on the river walk. The river walk is fabulous! We took an easy walk down to Lake Michigan. We also visited Third Life Brewing, North Channel Brewing, Taco ‘Bout It (yummy lobster nachos), and Blue Fish. Our favorite spot was TJ’s Pub with a cozy fireplace. We also enjoyed watching a movie at the Vogue. We will definitely be back to Manistee!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at James' place! The view of Portage Lake from the property was breathtaking, and the overall experience was top-notch. James and Lillian were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The attention to detail, the cozy atmosphere, and their warm hospitality truly made this trip unforgettable. I can't wait to return and enjoy another stay in this incredible Airbnb. “Hidden gem” really is such an accurate description for Sallyann’s place. The location, layout of the condo and comfort & cleanliness of the space was wonderful! The fire places were such a great addition, along with the comfort of the bed. I would absolutely book again, and highly recommend this space for anyone looking to travel to Manistee or other surrounding areas.
