12 out of 10!! The home was beyond amazing! Each room and space was beautifully decorated and provided a very calming energy. We brought all the food we needed for two days and never left the property! The home was so comfortable, inviting and pristine level of clean!!! Lara has thought of everything and there was nothing we needed that was not provided. Check in and check out where a breeze and Lara was always just a few minute message away when we had questions. We would definitely book here again when it was warmer so we could enjoy more of the outdoor amenities.

Very nice little place that was close enough to the ORV trail systems we used. It was clean, nicely finished and was perfect for three or four people even though we only had two. It was important that we felt that our gear was safe in our trucks over night and we didn't have any concerns.

Great place to chill and relax. Needed a little escape getaway to recharge this winter with my wife and pup. Place is cozy, jacuzzi was very relaxing, and over all had what we needed to enjoy our time. Couple things to note, if in the winter the heater is loud in the bedroom- may suggest earplugs or white noise machine. Like stated in the description their internet is sufficient for streaming, but doesn't have bandwith for much if any else. Host was very helpful and offered to send someone over to shovel as we were hit with a snowstorm the first night. Loved our stay, may come back during the summer!

We were happy with our stay. The home was very clean and beautiful. We accidentally broke something and the owner was very understanding and nice about it. We would stay again.

The Little Manistee River House was everything I'd hoped and more. The interior décor was fantastic, such lovely Up North cabin whimsy, and the perfect amount of cozy for my family of 4 (incl. 2 snarky teenagers!) The 3-sided wrap-around porch/deck on the river sides was amazing for lingering over morning coffee listening to birds and peaceful babbling river before the day started. We had a ton of fun paddling our SUPs up the river and watching huge river trout(?) darting below us, before turning around and drifting back "home". And I adored the interior set-up, with the 3 bedrooms on one side and a fully open floor plan for kitchen, dining room, and living room on the other with all 3 sides being floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors (with full screens) to the river-side deck. The view from every table and cozy chair was fantastic. The remote seclusion of this place only added to the peace and quietude. And we watched something from the vintage VHS collection each night-So.Much.Fun!

Overall, I stayed for 2 weeks. The first week was with my family. My grandchildren are young, so that the beach and lake were perfect for them..sandy bottom and shallow for a distance. Also, it was great for kayaking and paddle boarding. The 2nd week was with 2 girlfriends and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We didn't get in our cars to go anywhere all week!! Hung out on the lovely deck and beach, drank wine and grilled perfect dinners. At night, had beach fires most nights. And the stars at night were spectacular!!! The hosts were great. Always responsive, friendly and helpful. The setting was lovely and was everything I expected. Thank you!!!

Barry and his home is so warm and inviting. Upon arrival - found a handwritten note welcoming me and that just made me feel right at home. No one does that anymore - that was so sweet. Home matched description and more. Loved cooking in the kitchen and I ended up asking to extend my stay to which was responded to immediately with a yes. I’m coming back! I just hope the place will be available for me to stay again because I suspect that I’d be back for a longer period of time next year. A must stay location.

We had a great stay. Mike communicated well. The space was comfortable and it had everything we needed for a couple of nights. It was also great that it was pet friendly.

Great place, comfy, warm and well appointed. Highly recommended as a quiet lakeside retreat within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Will stay again in the future, great little up north lake town.

Andy's place was amazing and comfortable! This was probably our favorite stay on Airbnb! It was exceedingly clean, and it had everything we needed! Andrew was extremely friendly and WE WILL BE BACK! Look no further- it was super close to Bear Lake and a short drive to Crystal Mountain. I cant say enough about the cleanliness and hospitality! A+!!!! Thanks for everything, Andrew!

We've stayed a few times with Dave and always love our time here. He is very responsive to questions, makes excellent suggestions, and even provides a holiday touch. We love staying here with access to the kayaks on Portage Lake in the summer and the beautiful views year-round.

Excellent stay for our family. We try to visit family in Ludington on the Fourth of July every so often and this was a wonderful location. Rachel and the co-hosts were very responsive. Our family had a wonderful stay and from our experience in the area I can say that it was good value as well as Ludington gets very over priced and crowded on the Fourth of July, whereas Hamlin is more peaceful and comfortable. The condo was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s a little hard to get a three level to be the most comfortable temperature for everyone but that is just a problem for any three level structure. Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for amusement and the teepee with the fire pit was nice as well. We would happily stay again if they would have us.

The condo was beautiful and very clean! It was super easy to find and get in/out of. There was plenty to do on the property and nearby!

This was a great place to stay! The townhouse was very clean and tidy and well decorated. It was very comfortable— great tv in the living room space, easy to adjust temperature in the space, lots of amenities (including items if you have small children). It was peaceful and easy to enjoy the natural surroundings. We also walked to the close by beach (only a quarter of a mile away). Sleeping bear dunes is an easy 1 hour drive away too. I highly recommend this listing and would not hesitate to return to it.

Beautiful view from the living room of the lake. Great pool and hot tub and people at the clubhouse were friendly and helpful. Nicely updated condo.

Very nice place but did feel it was kind of pricey for the area. Overall, we did enjoy the space.

We’ve been coming up to Michigan from Southeast MO for 30 years and have always loved our stay in Harbor Village. The community is always a great place for families, beautiful marina and beach with lots to do at the condos’ amenities. This condo was great for us and our two kids, as well as my brother and sister-in-law to share. Loved the large kitchen table, big couch, and fully stocked kitchen! The condo itself was very clean! Phil was very responsive with any questions I had. We had ZERO issues whatsoever during our trip thanks to their great planning! Can’t wait to return!

Elissa’s was the nicest studio we’ve ever stayed. It was very comfortable and she provided everything we needed. She also spelled everything out as far as direction, entry and easy check out. It was very clean which is important to us. Great communication. We loved the short walk to the beach and the pier. We also enjoyed the activity of a freighter and Coast Guard boats leaving the river. Thank you for the hospitality. We hope to return one day.

We loved our stay at Diane’s charming apartment. The layout of the space is so efficient and roomy yet cozy too. The architectural details just add to the charm of the place. The tall louvre blinds are awesome. The bed is very comfortable and I particularly love the chairs in the living space. My very favorite is the misty shower! We found everything we needed at this place. Diane was wonderful and quick to answer any questions. There is so much to do in this town and the location is perfect, walkable to all and right on the river walk. The river walk is fabulous! We took an easy walk down to Lake Michigan. We also visited Third Life Brewing, North Channel Brewing, Taco ‘Bout It (yummy lobster nachos), and Blue Fish. Our favorite spot was TJ’s Pub with a cozy fireplace. We also enjoyed watching a movie at the Vogue. We will definitely be back to Manistee!
