Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake County

We were looking for a nice getaway to the lake for the weekend and that’s exactly what we got. There was 11 of us with 2 infants and a dog with plenty of space and lots to do very family friendly would definitely stay here again. We rented a boat and docked it right at the place which was great for the day and host gave us a lot of nice restaurants to go to and very responsive. We all had a lovely time

Absolutely Loved our stay!! There aren't enough good things to say about the view, location & beautiful house. So fun! There's a pool table, air hockey & 2 free standing video games. Spent every sunset in the Lakeview room😍 Just gorgeous beyond words! Did i mention the Bald Eagle that hangs out in the tree right outside the Lakeview bedroom? Incredible! the lake doesn't freeze over in one spot in front of the lakeview window, saw all the big birds of prey hunt. It was definitely wildlife at its finest. The owners are Very responsive & told us to be on the look out for the eagle! Fantastic time! Loved Loved Loved it & already reserved for our Wedding weekend❤️

We had an incredible time at Mark’s place! The photos definitely matched the actual house and from the moment you walk in you feel right at home. Mark had provided all of the mentioned amenities and then some, and provided personal touches and local recommendations. We visited in the off season, and are hopeful to return in the summer to take more advantage of the outdoor activities around. Definitely recommend!!

Had a wonderful family getaway for the weekend with our college kids. Plenty of room for all 6 of us and our dog. Enjoyed bird watching and the beautiful sunrises. And area hikes. Kids had a blast with the kayaks. Thankyou Greg! Hope to be back again soon.

Mahalo for hosting our family while we celebrated our son graduating from Navy bootcamp! It was such a pleasure staying at your gorgeous lake front home. My heart is so full! As a mother there is no better feeling than bring my boy home to make him a home cooked dinner. We had a blast exploring the city the next day with the whole family. Highly recommend this home for any future Navy families. Make time to enjoy the library, lots of amazing books with a real wood burning fire. Your home was very clean, kitchen was stocked with essentials and atmosphere was relaxing! Keep your eyes peeled for the otters!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this waterfront property on Fox Lake with our three dogs. The home offers direct access to the lake, providing a serene and picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. The house comfortably accommodated our group, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The interior was clean and well-maintained, offering all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. Our dogs enjoyed the spacious yard and the proximity to the lake. The neighborhood was peaceful, making it ideal for morning walks with our pets. Additionally, the property's location provided convenient access to local attractions and dining options in Fox Lake. The host was responsive and accommodating, ensuring our check-in process was smooth and that we had everything we needed throughout.

Our stay was wonderful! The host was very friendly and communicated with us well!! The view of the lake from the house was absolutely stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed the outside seating and fire pit!! The house had everything we needed! It was as close to feeling like being at home as I think it could have felt! Such a beautiful home! We hope it’s available for our next trip to the area!!

This place was very clean and was in a very quiet neighborhood. The response time was very quick. Had all the necessities and felt like home. Would definitely stay there again.

Pet friendly, nice location next to bar and down the road from new Fox Lake Park.

The apartment had everything we needed. It was walkable to restaurants, had everything we needed to cook, had a very thorough binder with local suggestions. The apartment was cute and comfortable. Two things stood out to me that are very important when I stay at an air Bnb - it didn’t smell like fragrances or chemicals and the beds (and couch) were comfortable. After checking out I thought I had left something in the apartment and sharon was very responsive and helpful.

We needed a place for us and our dogs on shirt notice, and I'm so grateful this place was available! Very dog friendly!

Loved our stay, so many beds and a lot of kitchen utensils available for use. Private area, the fire pit in front of the lake was a favorite!

We love Sharon’s place. We are repeat visitors and we’ll definitely pick Sharon’s place the next time we’re in the area. The bungalow is super comfortable, pristine and has so many nice amenities. Sharon is a wonderful host and she went out of her way to make our stay feel like home. I would highly recommend Sharon’s place when you’re visiting Libertyville.

This was our second visit to Amanda’s and just like the first time, it left my boys with fun memories. We will be back next summer.

Every year we visit Cypress there are more improves and amenities. Always a great stay and so much to do. Amanda and her team run this place like a well oiled machine. We visit once in the winter and once or twice in the summer. A favorite for sure.

The Cabin was super cute and just as described. Every time I reached out with a question or request, Amanda responded promptly and helpfully. Would definitely book again.

LOVED IT! Quite serene and quiet. It is off season though. Highly recommend during regular season when Famous Freddys opens.

The place was beautiful. The house is a bit old but we didn’t mind it, it made it feel homey in a way. My friends and I loved the hot tub, would love to come back again.

The house was perfect for our needs. The host was wonderful at making sure we had what we needed for our guests. We were traveling with a 4 year old and a 3 month old and she made sure the home had a high chair, a pack’n’play, and one of the rooms had a Lego set that the 4 year old was thrilled to play with! The upstairs was definitely warm on hot days and nights, but extra fans were provided for each room which was helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable.
