Great location for a family reunion. We appreciated the chance to bring our dog too. Cabin has a great layout to accommodate a group. We like to cook, and the kitchen was well outfitted & easy to use. We’d like to return in the summer so we can enjoy the deck & river a bit more!

The cabin was beautiful- BETTER than the pictures. The host family offers luxury "perks" like wonderful toiletries, pillowtop mattresses and top end pillows, soft blankets rolled up everywhere for guest to use, plush towels, the lights were on when we got there as was the hot tub ready to go. We will definitely be back. What a treat!

The photos don't do this unique, comfortable, serene, special place justice! Any time of year this would be the best stay, and it's equipped with everything you would need and more (linens, blankets, pillows, firewood, dishware, cooking equipment, indoor and outdoor seating, etc.). The hosts were communicative and thorough and nothing was an issue or surprise. And the beds were the most comfy! The only consideration is how many people you have and how particular you are about sleeping arrangements, as three beds + sofa sleeper are all in one lofted/communal space (different floors), with one bedroom fully separate in the basement. Not an issue for 4 single adults.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Mainstay on the Bluff. Even though the weather was raining and wet, we had a great time cooking meals, playing games, and most of all, sitting in the hot tub! House was VERY spacious and there was plenty of sleeping space for everyone. The privacy and views were incredible and we enjoyed taking a few walks when the weather permitted. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

What an AMAZING TREASURE of a property!! We stayed in the middle cabin, which is conveniently closest to the restroom but not by any means “too close”. Despite having 3 cabins near each other, the views from the windows for the most part made us feel like we were the only cabin and completely surrounded by nature (the skylights with views of the tree tops from bed really took that “retreat” feeling over the top). Sweet bird chirps gently waking us up in the morning, a little hiking trail that was the perfect challenge and scenic level, and hands down the most shockingly clean and cute restrooms for a wooded surrounding just put icing on the cake. I’m very tempted to make the long drive back to check out some of the other properties she has that look equally as cool! Thanks for everything, Chelsi!

This place is perfect for people who want to stay in a cabin, but arent comfortable with being in a secluded/wooded area. The cabins were right in the middle of a small, quiet lake front neighborhood. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely be back.

Wonderful little cabin with easy access to the main drag of Pepin! Definitely would recommend!

We had a great experience even in the midst of the winter storms. Our cabin was so cute and stayed warm and cozy. Greg was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely incredible place for a peaceful getaway not far from Rochester. The shared bathhouse was very clean and well-stocked and the lighting meant that even at night it was not bad to walk to. Chelsi was very responsive and helpful, we decided to add a night at the last minute because once we arrived we knew we wouldn't be able to leave too quickly and Chelsi was flexible and communicative. We will be back!

Jen and Brett’s place highly exceeded our expectations!!! We came to stay at the cottage as a last minute weekend getaway. The property was spotlessly clean and so comfortable! The hosts were amazing and their dog Fiona adorable. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!!

Great hideaway in the woods. Private and quiet. Lots of space and house was stocked with necessities (towels, dishes, bedding, etc.). Dan was very responsive, easy to work with, flexible, and friendly. Would highly recommend.
