BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

This was the best birthday trip ever! Jaya was very responsive to messages and provided plenty detailed useful information. Her place was quiet and just steps away from breathtaking views. Perfectly located from the parking garage, elevator and pool/spa. We would definitely choose to stay again in the future.

My boys (12 and 15) and I made reservations for the small container home over spring break, but Matthew reached out a few days before our stay to let us know that some high winds had caused a bit of damage to the container home, and it wouldn’t be fixed by the time we arrived. He kindly and very generously offered to let us stay at the main house for no additional charge so that we could still enjoy our planned vacation. Amazing! We absolutely loved the property, which is lit up beautifully at night and is kitschy and country and comfortable in all the best ways. The decor of the home was unique and fun, and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking dinners in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again without hesitation. And we fell in love with the goats. So friendly and funny. Matthew was the same when we met him. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay at this colorful and restful respite from the city.

Sam & Greg were incredible hosts. Had my bachelor party here with fourteen guys. One of the best weekends of my life. Airbnb was the perfect place for a group of this size. The pool and hot tub upstairs with the views were the best place for downtime. House also had plenty of space inside and to sleep. Greg came over when we first got there to show us around and give us the house rules. After that he left and just periodically checked in via text to make sure we were doing okay. They genuinely care about making sure their guests have a great time. Thank you both on behalf of myself and our group for an incredible weekend.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

this place is on my list of favs! It didn't disappoint in anyway. the interior was beautifully decorated, clean, modern, and inviting.. I would live there..... any questions I had, were promptly answered.. I will be back....... thx to the host and management! absolutely a 10

We really enjoyed our stay! The home had everything we needed and more. The deck area around the pool and jacuzzi was fantastic!! Highly recommend this property.

Patti's retreat cottage is great. It is secluded, peaceful, and very close to natural areas that we enjoyed exploring. We love to cook wherever we go, and the kitchen was a great place to make our meals. The town of Dripping Springs isn't far --- there you'll find groceries, bakeries and terrific BBQ at "Pig Pen". We would have easily enjoyed a longer stay, but we were only booked for a week. Patti's place was exactly what we wanted. She and David were wonderful hosts--we enjoyed meeting them. Many thanks to them for sharing their beautiful place with travelers.

Awesome stay! Highly recommend! We were looking for a pet friendly, peaceful place with room to roam for our 3 night hill country adventure, and Betsy and John delivered. Friendly hosts, sweet fur babies to play with our lab, huge property to walk and breathe, super clean roomy house and comfortable beds for our party of 4 adults. Also, there’s an HEB down the road for groceries which I LOVE. (We don’t have those in Louisiana.) Hope to return!

Our stay at Stone Home Ranch was fantastic. Wendy was an excellent coordinator, offering great area suggestions and quickly arranging firewood after our request. Her son Colby also set out firewood for the pit and Wendy even offered to mail a forgotten item. The property is stunning and comfortably fit all 9 of us. The large kitchen was fully equipped, and Wendy provided farm fresh eggs; some guests even harvested their own. The river access, kayaks, and paddleboards were major highlights. The spacious back patio was perfect for games, and the multiple balconies and master suite’s private sunroom were lovely. The bathrooms were well-designed with excellent water pressure in the showers. Enjoying coffee while hearing the rooster crow was a charming experience. We had a memorable stay and plan to return. We highly recommend Stone Home Ranch!

Love the cabin ! Board games , it was nice having off the kids off the electronics for awhile would definitely come back .💓 my children enjoyed the stayed and the creek

Lesli is the best host!! I can’t say enough great things about her and also her property! It was calming and peaceful and had everything I needed! Lesli is very accommodating and kind and resourceful!! An absolute beautiful tiny home and her decor didn’t overcrowd it! Literally felt like home! 100/10!!!

My 2 teen daughters & I spent 2 months (mid Jan- mid Mar) at Paula's place. Lovely views from within most of the condo, comfy furniture & beds, large master bath, very functional kitchen w/ pretty much whatever we needed. Loads of dishes, silverware, pots & pans. Awesome Ninja blender that we used daily. Paula was very kind & responsive. Very easy to work with. Deck was nice w/ plenty of its own furniture & morning/early afternoon sun. The gym was small but mostly well outfitted. Rarely too crowed. It was a windy road to & from the condo & I kept wishing I had a sports car every time I drove it, haha. I'm not a city gal, so I intentionally chose a place out of the city that was quiet. But when we wanted to, the city was easy enough to access w/in 40 min w/o paying tolls. We saw a few concerts, visited the main Austin sites, & caught the vibes during SXSW. It was a good location to visit surrounding small towns and do some nature walking/hiking, as well. I definitely recommend it!

Liza's place was truly a tropical gem! Just a few steps away from her clean & comfy condo was a sandy beach with plenty of seating, umbrellas for shade and warm sun for hours. There was a fishing dock, playground and huge, beautiful view of the lake. My family of 3 had plenty to do, felt safe and had everything we needed thanks to our generous host. I knew if I needed anything I would be assisted by her quickly. Highly recommend the home & host for future trips!

Our family had a very enjoyable stay over Spring Break. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed, and the pool and hot tub on site were fantastic. Location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Texas hill country, but was offered great proximity to town as well. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering it.

Enjoyed our stay at The Island, apartment was fully furnished, nothing more was needed. Though if anything would have been needed Maheen was very responsive. Local grocery and liquor stores are within ten minutes. Would stay here again!

The condo is nicely decorated with a comfy bed. Hosts were incredibly responsive. Kitchen was well stocked. Our grandchildren who came to visit one afternoon enjoyed the pool that was right next to the building. One thing to be aware of is that the TVs are not smart TVs, so you have access to the 50 local channels rather than using streaming accounts. This wasn't a problem for us because we could still access our desired content, but think you should know. Another VERY enjoyable amenity is the large soaker tub in the bathroom. Great place to relax after a long hike. Will stay here again if in the area.

The stay was absolutely wonderful the only problem I had was when I first got there, there was dog poop outside by the stairs. But other than that it was wonderful and absolutely fun.

This was the most incredible place I have ever stayed in my life - and I have done some traveling! The pictures and description couldn’t even prepare me for how amazing it was. Not only is it gorgeous, unique, spacious, and clean - with every single amenity you could think of - the hosts were so helpful and kind! Super responsive but let us have our privacy after check in. I could not have asked for a better place to stay on a weekend away. And only an hour from my house in Austin! I am already planning on my next trip back. It really brought the group together in the most special way. I am eternally grateful!
