Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lagos

Wonderful place, like feeling at home, the apartments are equipped with everything, even the first basic things for cooking, upon our arrival they made us find cookies, water and cheese and they made us taste the bread they made themselves, they have a vegetable garden where we could pick fresh tomatoes and figs directly from the tree, also available umbrella and small deck chairs for the beach. Carla's tips for visiting beaches and the restaurants she recommended were excellent.

Brilliant set up for a couple of families. 5 minute walk from beach and restaurants. Hosts very helpful and responded promptly. We had a wonderful stay.

The villa is truly exceptional—no words can fully capture how impressive it is. Traveling with three kids, we found it incredibly convenient thanks to the abundance of space, multiple bathrooms, private pool, and private parking. The villa is impeccably equipped with everything you could possibly need, all of the highest quality. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The property’s location is ideal, being close to beaches, minimarkets, and the center of Lagos. The host was highly responsive and provided us with a detailed guide before our stay, including comprehensive instructions and a thorough description of the house. Thank you so much!

We had an excellent, albeit far too short stay at Claudia’s. Such a cute place, fantastic kitchen and the peaceful courtyard with the built in grill is a lovely extra! Super close to all the places in old town, but just far enough off the track to be quiet and peaceful at night.

We had a great stay at Claudio’s apartment and would definitely recommend it! The apartment has two bedrooms (one is a loft) and a beautiful balcony/terrace that we loved sitting on to watch the sun set! The apartment was very clean with a nicely sized bathroom and great water pressure in the shower. The location was amazing - on a quiet street but just a few minutes walk from the center of town and everywhere else we wanted to go. It was also easy to get into the flat through the self-check in on the first day. Claudio was very helpful and responsive during our stay. Thanks again and we will definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Lagos!

We stayed six nights at Celisa's, we had a very good time. The house was spacious and clean. The outdoor garden is gorgeous. Celisa was always very kind and helpful.

The house was just as described, and felt comfortable and welcoming. There was plenty of space for the three of us, and the courtyard at the back of the house was a real bonus. The location was excellent, being just a five minute walk into the old town. The ensuite bathroom for the second bedroom worked really well, and all things needed were provided.

Very nice place, close to everything. If you want to explore lagos, it is definitely a great place. Couple of parking spots close by, if you arrive by car aswell.

We enjoyed our stay in Lagos together with our son and daughter and their partners (young people in the age range 19 to 24 years). A perfect location in the old center of Lagos. Thanks to the three keys, everyone could go out and make it as late as they wanted. Great restaurants and nightlife within a 5 minute walk. We were mainly found at the Garden bar, Bon Vivant/ Rooftop cocktails and Karaokebar de Shaker. We made great use of our roof terrace and we felt free to move a lounge bed and some furniture from the inside out during our stay. We cooked a lot of fresh soup after Joseph (at our request) purchased a blender. There is also a huge fridge/ freezer combination in the kitchen. The catamaran - kayak tour of Discovery Tour (departure from the port) is a great excursion. You go with the kayaks in various caves and afterwards you can still swim and dive off the Catamaran. Beautiful accomodation in a quiet part of town. Amazing amenities with easy access and friendly host with good recommendations and helpful! A bit of a walk from town but this gets you a peaceful location. Highly recommend!

Great stay! The place looked just like the photos – clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Check-in was easy and the area was quiet but close to everything I needed. Would happily stay again.

….a very comfortable open space with plenty of sunshine. I was thrilled to have direct access to a path/ nature walk to the beach directly from the unit, literally 5 steps from the balcony door. Nestled onto a hillside the unit looks directly onto a lovely little valley, and a good surfing beach. You’re close enough to hear the waves on a windy day. There’s also a sweet fully furnished, sheltered balcony. Good sized living room / kitchen area which gave me room to spread out the yoga mat and chill. Highly recommend it.

We had the most amazing month-long stay at this peaceful gem. The location is incredibly serene, perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind, yet everything is easily accessible by car. Lagos is just a 13-minute drive away, which made exploring the area so convenient. And Luz.. It’s the coziest and most beautiful little town we’ve visited in Portugal. The home itself was perfect and had everything we needed for a long stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals at home. Our house was cleaned every week, which was such a nice touch, and there was plenty of storage space throughout, so we always felt organized and comfortable. The beds are huge and pretty comfy, making it easy to rest after a day of exploring. Wifi was good, so a big plus for remote workers like us. One of the highlights was the outdoor space and swimming poool. The terrace is fantastic for lounging, and we used the grill several times for BBQs. Peaceful atmosphere, combined with friendly dog

We loved staying at Vanessa’s place. Great location with so much space and light. Loved the outdoor space and all the amenities! Vanessa had thought of every detail for her guests and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. She recommended a perfect itinerary for us while we were here. We enjoyed a great getaway at Ben & Zoe's very nice apartment. The location was great, very close to the beach and the view of the sea with the sunrises was beautiful. If you like it a little more relaxed and not in the hotel castles, this is the place to be. Very kind hosts, whom we can fully recommend. We will be happy to come back sometime. Thank you

Loved this place - it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was impeccably clean and nicely decorated and had lots of space. We felt safe staying there and it was in a quiet area. The nearby beach was within walking distance and offered a spectacular view at the restaurants overlooking it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay at the quieter end of town - but it was a short 5 minute drive to some of the local attractions. The host had GREAT recommendations for local things to see and places to eat and was very friendly and responsive. Thanks Kasia for the great experience on our first trip to Portugal!

We really enjoyed the accommodations. Everything was very neat and clean and had everything we needed. The deck was really nice to sit on and relax either in the morning or after a long day. It was located near a breathtaking beach. The grounds were lovely and quiet and the pool was beautiful. We found many great restaurants near by.

I highly recommend the Algarve that I discovered for the first time, a beautiful slice of paradise! The Portuguese are charming, kind, attentive and always available Joao's apartment was very well located for our visits and discoveries. Thanks again, we'll be happy to come back!

Great location with pool and gorgeous beach, calling trails along the coast and a nice walk or short Uber downtown. Parking space is provided. Nice balcony with a bit of sea view. A restaurant called Mar is just on the way downtown and has amazing food and even better food… the best meals we had in Portugal by far.

We had a lovely time at the place. The apartment is modernly furnished and very clean. We didn't lack anything. Various popular beaches is within walking distance. The surrounding area is very quiet. It is advisable to have a car for activities.

My husband and I spent a total of five weeks in Lagos with our little daughter, staying at Emilie and Giuliana’s accommodation. The apartment is nicely and cozily furnished. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking. There is also a washing machine in the apartment, which was important to us. Giuliana was very friendly and easy to reach. Upon request, she even provided us with a high chair and a baby bed. We definitely noticed that it was winter because the apartment was rather cold, especially the floor. I would recommend bringing thick socks or slippers. However, in the summer, this is probably an advantage. Fortunately, there are heating options in the apartment. The location is nice and quiet. Just around the corner (a 5-8 minute walk), there is a great café (Everyday People) where you can enjoy excellent coffee and food. And just 5 minutes away by car, there i s a large grocery store. Having a car makes things easier, but it is not absolutely necessary.
