We will miss Villa San Souci. It’s a lovely house in a fantastic location for exploring the Arcachon Basin. We did not need to drive from place to place as the bike paths are outside , so is the train station and restaurants , shops are within walking distance. The pool and garden is also a suntrap and lovely for a lazy afternoon. Gujan Mestres is a nice town away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything you would need for a wonderful vacation.

We were delighted with our stay. We were able to take advantage of the heated pool despite the weather that was not there. We were well received. Thanks to Fabrice and her family.

Beautiful house with all comforts rebuilt in the style of the region and well thought out. We appreciated the location of the house, while being quiet, very close to shops, covered market, bay and oyster farmers' cabins. A place we highly recommend

Alice and Jerome were amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and made very easy for us. We loved our week with our adult children in your beautiful house.. 2 minute walk to lovely swimming beach ( at high tide).. easy walk to shops and restaurants and great cycle paths to the ocean beaches. We loved every second of our stay at Guillaume‘s impeccable house. Every bedroom has their own ensuite bathroom so it’s great if you’re travelling as a group. The terrace facing the canal is beautiful and cosy. The kids enjoyed the pool, trampoline, and many games they found in one of the bedrooms. The neighbourhood is quiet but there are plenty of restaurants nearby and it’s only a short drive to Lac Cazaux. This is a great place to relax with enough activities close by (Dune du Pilat, Arcachon, Cap Ferret) to keep you entertained for a at least a week. Guillaume is a perfect host, always quick to respond to messages and happy to provide useful recommendations. Everything went without a hitch.

Excellent stay spent in this beautiful house, many rooms for large gatherings of family or friends, a very nice garden, I highly recommend

We were with the whole family in the really spacious and tastefully equipped house. The pool,the bathrooms,the bedrooms,everything exceeded our expectations. Only small things were annoying upon arrival. The garbage was not yet disposed of and there were still food scraps in the dishwasher (can happen). The barbecue on the terrace was not cleaned. We called Hélene,who is otherwise very friendly. She immediately took care of it personally and corrected the neglect of the cleaning staff himself. Overall, a very spacious house in which we spent great holidays.

Excellent WE spent with family and friends in Arcachon in this beautiful home. The house is very nice, spacious and the garden is very good for running and playing the children. The proximity to the beach and the city center on foot allowed us not to use the WE cars and be quiet. I would highly recommend this listing.

The house is superb in every aspect. Easy access and onsite parking for two cars and safe street parking outside. Gardens are well maintained and give a lot of shade. The layout of the property puts all the shared living spaces including a great terrace at the “tree-line”, giving views into the Mimbeau and Bassin. Lots of light with sliding terrace doors all around the spacious living/dining room. The kitchen is well equipped and modern with all you need. The bedrooms are good sizes - all of the rooms are en-suite. The master bedroom has a great view over the water and lots of cleverly hidden storage. Location is excellent- 5 minutes walk to some of the best oyster restaurants and many, many others. Marie was extremely helpful, flexible, friendly and responsive and could not have been a better host. Highly recommended!

Régine's house is ideally located between the seafront (beach, seaside walk) and the city center with proximity to all shops. The terrace allows you to enjoy the sea view. The house is functional. That's a good address. Free parking spots are in the winter district.

Lucile's house is ideally located for family holidays. The house is very clean, well-equipped. We were able to enjoy the pool and our daughter loved the children's area located in the back of the house. We advise you to provide bicycles (several rental shops nearby) as many activities are accessible by bike (bike paths).

quiet, peaceful, spacious, the Gauthier and Charlie estate is simply exceptional. despite the rain we enjoyed the different activities offered in the estate. the house is very spacious and there is absolutely nothing missing in equipment. thank you both for hosting and your responsiveness.

Sophie's home is nothing short of an oasis! Incredibly comfortable, clean, and well designed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Beds were comfortable. Sophie was very informative and helpful during our stay, pointing out the local sites to see. The weather didn't co-operate, but it didn't matter because lounging in her living room was one of the highlights of our trip. Wonderful experience!

Jennifer's house is located at the end of a private drive, close to a few other houses but not opposite and within beautiful wooded nature. The whole "house terrace-pool and covered outdoor kitchen" allows you to spend some good times with the family. The house is particularly well equipped and tastefully decorated in a "Cap Ferret" atmosphere. Bedrooms/bathrooms are modern and spotless. Finally, the floor is equipped with a TV lounge and a "resort" perfect for remote work. Being in LÈGE CAP FERRET protects you from the waves of cars that rush every day on the peninsula.

We stayed for two weeks in May/early June with family and three young children. Lovely villa, very well equipped and lots of space for everyone, inside and outside. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working for our stay, but the pool was lovely. The pool area was a perfect sun trap, especially late afternoon/early evening. The pool was a little cold for the first couple of days but it soon warmed up. The villa is located in a quiet residential area with some lovely restaurants in walking distance. The beach close to the villa was really quiet during our stay-there are busier beaches a short drive away. Small well stocked supermarket in walking distance and larger alternatives a short drive away. Solene was very helpful and messaged us regularly to check we had everything we needed during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable and beautiful house with beautiful openings to the outside. I would recommend this place to stay with a pool that we were also able to enjoy!
