Our stay was amazing. A hop skip and a jump to the beach, great restaurants and shopping. Great, cute house with private yard. Will be staying here again!!

This place was great! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home. Unfortunately it was cold so we were unable to enjoy the pool But we were able to relax pool side while having our coffee outside. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. No disturbances at all. House was easy to get into. Everything we needed was there. Kitchen has tons of cooking pans ! Just need to take your own spices but nothing you can’t get at HEB. Great market by the way, and super close by. Home is very cozy and host is very much attentive to your messages and requests. Will definitely Consider this home again when we return.

My stay at this home was comfortable and relaxing. I really didn't come here with a long agenda of things I wanted to do, I just wanted to get away from my every day life and unwind. This home helped me do that. It was clean and comfortable, had everything I needed and was in a great location for walks to the beach. It seemed I corresponded with the co-host Eric. He was quick to respond to my messages, gave great instructions, as well as good suggestions for Texas barbecue. There was no out of the ordinary rules for cleaning, just take out the trash and leave the parking pass when you check out. I recommend Matthew's (and Eric's) home to anyone looking for a smaller home to stay in. I would stay here again if I was ever in Galveston again.

Overall a great experience. The communication was above and beyond, and the house was great too, had everything we needed. Very accommodating for a large group. Great location - close to a grocery store and downtown. I recommend both this house, and the hosts for anyone looking to stay in Houston.

This home is a knock-out! It was rainy and cold outside, so we spent a lot of time indoors where we were comfortable and warm. Hubby did take our pup for extensive walks which was safe and interesting even with the bad weather. The neighborhood is wonderful with restaurants only a couple of blocks away and The Strand just a little further. We went everywhere on foot, except for the grocery. We appreciate the pet friendly aspects. Penny lay down on her Airbnb bed immediately and most of the time chose it over her own bed. We really appreciate the historic yet functional environment! Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

The place was just what we needed! It was close by, fully fenced in for the dogs, and clean. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend staying with Jesse and Amber. Our stay at Gloria’s place was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we booked, Gloria’s communication was superb—she was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made sure we had all the information we needed before and during our stay. The house itself was spotless, with everything impeccably clean and well-maintained. But the real highlight was the backyard oasis—it was truly amazing! A perfect spot to relax and unwind, it felt like our own private paradise. Having access to the golf cart was an added bonus. It was super convenient and fun to cruise around the area with ease. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed!

Jonathan was an amazing host even thought some stuff came up, he was 100% responsive and attentive, the house was absolutely beautiful, we will definitely book the place again in the future!

Beautiful property, Travis is great and responds in a timely manner, house has everything listed, close to the beach, neighborhood is quiet and located within a few minutes of any necessities. Will definitely rent again if back in the area and there's availability!

This is our second time staying here and it's our favorite place to stay on the island! The space has such a homey, comfortable feel and plenty of room to spread out. The location is close to all of our usual spots but still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We got to say hi to Alyssa at arrival and she was very sweet and welcoming. We plan to keep returning year after year. I'd highly recommend it!

We have stayed at Olivette several times and as always, everything was wonderful. It is such a comfortable and cozy home with everything needed for a perfect visit to Galveston. The weather allowed for enjoying the awesome porch with rocking chairs and sitting by the pool. Already have our next visit booked. For the past three years, I have been visiting Houston to see my son, his wife, and my granddaughter. We always look for a house with a pool because my granddaughter loves being in the water. This time, we chose Marina and her team’s house, and the experience was exceptional. The house exceeded our expectations in every way clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay. It’s exactly the kind of Airbnb you hope for, and even more. In fact, this is the first time I’ve left a review for a property in Houston because this was, without a doubt, the best experience I’ve had in three years. Stayed here with my dog to be close to the beach. We felt right at home, very close to beach and restaurants. We will definitely consider staying here next time we go to Galveston. Frederick was a great host, very responsive. The space was very comfortable.

Thank you to Mikey and all the co-hosts. This was one of the most hospitable places I’ve stayed in. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with parks and a bike trail at walking distance. Mikey was a great host, very responsive and hands on. 10/10 would recommend booking with him. The house itself was beautiful inside. Everything was clean and in working order my whole stay. We really enjoyed our stay! The house had plenty of space for our group to spread out, a cute seating area outside and everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The house is within walking distance to Pleasure Pier & the Sea Wall & would be a great place for your family or a group trip.

The pictures do not do this place justice! Everything was wonderful! The house was super clean, decorated beautifully and so warm and welcoming! The patio was such a fun place to enjoy too! The outdoor shower was great for showering off all the sand after spending the day at the beach. The living room was spacious, and had plenty of seating for our crew for family game night! Lots of tasty restaurants are nearby. We cannot wait to return!

I had never stayed in an Airbnb by myself, and wanted to change that. I am glad I had the privilege of having my first stay at the hideaway. It was a very peaceful and relaxing getaway. I felt right at home. Catalina was a great host, and I will be returning to the hideaway many times next year.
