Vacation rentals with lake access in La Libertad Department

Amazing house by the lake. Just like the pictures - we had a great time!

The house, gardens, dream trees, location, the support received by Rosita and Felipe have exceeded my and my group's expectations. It's definitely a place you want to go back to. In the morning we see more than 12 species of birds, from torogoces to hummingbirds. Time passed too fast.

We selected this home based on previous reviews and photos, and were so happy that we chose it! Roberto, Eneida and Monica were so gracious and hospitable. We appreciated the connections that Roberto helped us with , to have our day on the lake with jet skis for a couple of hours from a local rental...use of the kayaks on site....and the boat was available for rental if we wanted to use it. We were able to order some delicious papusas one evening, thanks to Roberto's help and willingness to row across the lake to get our order!! We loved having plenty of towels available, for pool and bathing, without having to bring them along in our suitcases!! The Host has responded to previous reviews and has a new refrigerator added to a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen! We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the amenities available! Our family enjoyed a couple of peaceful days together here, and we hope to be back for another enjoyable stay~ Thanks for sharing this beautiful space!

The House is very nice; it was clean; the rooms clean; it has a beautiful garden, the pool overlooking the beautiful lake; the kitchen clean and has good appliances; a nice space to spend as a couple or as a family; private, quiet. Alex was very attentive all the time; willing to help ; collaborator; Recommended place !

We were a more relaxing weekend and would love to come back! It is a very nice cottage but with all comforts, it is family friendly and with character. The house opens completely with large windows and several terraces that make you feel in total contact with nature. It is also a very quiet area, with no noise other than the animals in the area, the master bedroom is on a 2nd floor and you literally wake up with the lake at your feet. In the garden stands out a huge and beautiful tree, in that area there is space for barbecue and outdoor dining. It also has a very spacious dock that gives you direct access to the lake and to do water activities or rest in the hammocks, you can also eat there and it has a bar to be "chill out". Thank you also to the lady who works there and that she is ready to help with whatever you need.

This is our second time staying at Monica's home. We love the house, bedrooms, dock, pool, living room etc. Carmen and Manuel are extremely helpful and always willing to help. They are truly the best! ❤️ We stayed 2 nights this time around and enjoyed every minute. We swam in the pool, rented jet skies and did a little fishing! This home has everything you need(accept food -so bring your own) 🤪 ... The bedrooms are comfortable, AC , bathrooms are excellent 👍 The kitchen/dining area has beautiful views to the lake, Crater and mountains! thank you again for opening your beautiful home to our family. we were in El Salvador for a wedding and decided ro spend couple of days at the lake. Lissette's place was perfect. Raul, the person in charge of the property was super helpful and always available if we needed anything. Tatiana, the cook also made some delicious desayunos tipicos. I highly recommend this place.

I had an amazing stay. I had a larger party and everyone had their own space and there was a lot places to relax. It’s exactly what it looks like in the pictures, even better. The people who take care of the property were super responsive and helpful. We were able to wash clothes, order pupusas from a restaurant in front of the home, ride a jetski. I would definitely recommend to have Whats App because you’re able to talk to the host as well as the people taking care of the property. The only thing is that they say you have to leave a 20$ tip…which they make you sign in a contract when you arrive. They say it’s suggested but you kinda have to give it. I mean they deserve it and we we’re already going to tip since it’s a common courtesy here but just be aware you will be required to do that. There’s also apart of the property that has like an ongoing project going on just to be aware. But 5 stars because I truly Loved it !!!

We were blown away by the location and views at the property. Both Andrea and the house manager were great with communication. They had jet skis brought right up to the property for us to ride on and we had a blast. They set the fire for us to have pupusas (picked up from down the road) by one night. The house was exactly as described and what was needed. It was definitely the old town feel and not modern or as up to date if you are coming from state side, but it's exactly what we expected from our research and the pictures. The drive there from San Salvador was not bad at all. Make sure to use the direction button from the airbnb app and it gets you right there. The road to the house is small, windy and has lots of cars, but not too bad. There are little stores and restaurants about 2-3 minutes drive from the house. Overall the views, the memories and the care of the property will be a life time memory for us.

A must stay. The home is huge and well maintained. The groundskeeper was a great resource, with lots of information on things to enjoy. He made sure we had a great vacation, even reassured me to relax and enjoy my stay. From jumping into the lake from the dock to enjoying sometime on the hammock life was good. My family & I look forward to booking this beautiful home in the future.

We had a beautiful stay with my family , it is very beautiful and spacious the fifth Very nice garden and pool , I had seen them in tik tok and I was enchanted I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend their family vacation in El Salvador

The home was perfect for our getaway. Blanca was very responsive and accommodating. Heydee (the lady that checked us in) was super helpful and knew tons from around the area. If we ever needed something, she was there to help. Bedroom pictures are old-they now have crisp white bed sheets. So much better. Everything from the pool, the house to the view was perfect. We were able to cook / grill there, enjoy the home and rent the boats and jet skis near by (they are separate). We highly recommend them-ask for Carlos! He was very knowledgeable. Things to definitely take is bug spray for the mosquitoes.

The place is really nice., and Armando and his wife were very accomodating. We like the check-in and the check-out time. Very relaxing.

Quiet and welcoming place to have a good time with friends and family, the lady is very friendly and cooperative in the reception; being inside the lake is very windy, I recommend wearing a coat to not get very cold, we hope to return soon.
