Villa vacation rentals in La Alpujarra

We have stayed in Nerja many times over the last 30+ years. We have stayed in many places all over the town. Cheryl's place is ideal for accessing the Buriana Beach with it's many bars, restaurants and shops. The villa is specious and very well furnished. During our stay we wanted for nothing as everything was provided. Included were soaps, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, cooking spices and other ingredients. Matches, BBQ lighters and some fuel. We have had to source these items ourselves in other places. There are two excellent large supermarkets within ten minutes walk for food and drinks. Our party of seven adults were all very comfortable. Read the instructions provided and you should have no problems. Remember to Boost the hot water system if everyone showers in the mornings.

We were really happy with the house as it was ideal for us. We drove from UK with bikes so parking and e-bikes so security and storage were very important. Really spacious inside and outside. Sun or shade as required all day. Possible to walk in to town. Had been on Burriana side before but this seemed more relaxed and we were able to explore the other side of town. Any issues were dealt with promptly and efficiently by Beatrice and Fabrizio. Replies to messages got responses in just a few minutes. Loved our stay.

Don't hesitate, book right away! What a wonderful place to enjoy the two of you. From the house, the beautiful garden and the beautiful surroundings. Walk to Nerja, hiking in the area, the nice beach of Mora, lazing by the pool, strolling through the streets of Frigiliana and just enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains and the beautiful skies above the sea. The cottage is small but nice and super clean. It smelled lovely when we arrived. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We'd love to come back to enjoy the late summer here!

The house is divided into top floor and ground floor with separate pools. We rented the top floor and wansn’t disturbed by the other family on the ground floor. The property is amazing, with beautiful surroundings, view and well equiped house. One of the mist beautiful property in the area. We had some problems with the electricity, but was helped by the nice and helpful caretaker. NB that you get charged extra for linnen and towels.

I could say it was my best experience in an Airbnb. Unbeatable service with all kinds of amenities provided by the host. As for the house, it's a real paradise. It has everything you can imagine. After a spectacular weekend, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Granada.

We absolutely loved our stay here, it can be so hard travelling with small kids but when we arrived everything was perfect and we felt right at home, it’s such a beautiful home and has everything you need. We had two small children with us and the stair gate was so handy to have,the girls also loved the playroom. Thank you so much and we would highly recommend and would love to visit again next year.

This place in the heart of San Juan Capistrano is a true gem! I have been visiting Nerja with my family every year since I can remember and I can wholeheartedly say this will be our new go-to place to stay! The apartment was pristine, the hosts very responsive and it had everything you need for a short break…. The pool was just the icing on the cake! Thank you Kristoffer for your wonderful hospitality, I cannot recommend your place enough!!

We visited the property with our 3 kids in their 20s and their partners. It was our first holiday where we all were together, and I must say the house was outstanding. Beautiful views, fantastic pool, lots of space, and a nice walk into all the lovely beach bars and restaurants in La Herradura. We’ve been going to La Herradura for almost 20 years now, and if you want to enjoy your holiday, then we’d thoroughly recommend a stay at this fantastic property. P.s. Beautiful house with sea view, several terraces, heated pool, heating, but also many stairs. Sylwia reacted very quickly when the water in the showers was a little too cold and had it readjusted. Overall, we had a lovely time at the house. However, you should be aware that at the end of October/beginning of November almost only the garden gets sun (until the early afternoon) and the other terrace areas are rather shady. The warm pool, hot tub and sympathetic landlords definitely make up for it.

Villa La Paloma was a beautiful place to stay. We had a family group of 10 varying in ages and all were comfortable and enjoyed the house and the grounds. Location is excellent with easy access to a nearby small market and town. Beautiful views throughout and a range of outdoor seating areas. The house has a rustic, authentic feel but with modern kitchens and bathrooms so it was the best of both worlds for the group. Things to be aware of - stairs up to bedrooms are a little bit steep for anyone with mobility issues but there is a bedroom on the main floor which worked out well for our needs. Hot water may need to be reset from time to time and then street parking is generally available but usually a little bit of a walk, especially if you get back later in the evening. Rachel was an exceptional host throughout, very quick to respond and proactive in early communication. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay if you’re looking for a restful retreat for a group.

This compound is fabulous for a large group stay. We made great use of the large kitchen and outdoor cooking and dining. The cooling pool is greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!

We have been looking at this beautiful villa for some time and are so pleased we finally made the decision to go. Exactly as seen in the photos - incredible architecture! So much space, and very peaceful. A really nice walk from the villa along the cliffs and into Salebreno too, which we hadn't appreciated would be possible. Gabriel was excellent throughout , very responsive to any questions.

Authentic Wonder!! The house is brand new and amazing. Undoubtedly from the best houses ratio value for money that I have been to in all my travels. We will definitely repeat it.

The stay at Villa Terracota was an ideal choice, the house is very spacious and has all kinds of games that make the stay very pleasant. The common areas, rooms and outdoor areas are amazing. Great attention to detail, we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice villa and good host

We had a great week, the house is just as described, with everything you need to live in it and very clean. It has spectacular views of Almuñécar. Close to everything, a 5-minute drive to supermarkets, beach, etc. Leoni welcomed us on the first day, showed us the whole house and was always attentive to what we might need. Thank you Leoni, we enjoyed our vacation and the house. I definitely recommend it 100%.

Enjoyed every second spent there! Great views, private and quiet neighbourhood. Stayed with two little kids. There are some watching needed to be careful (stairs inside and slippery floor around the pool) but it was all worth it. Will recommend 100%

We booked the house just one day in advance for a week. Oscar did everything to allow us to enter the house as quickly as possible. It was very clean and spacious. The pool was even at the perfect temperature in November. Communication with Oscar was great, and he helped us with everything.

The villa was stunning, albeit tucked away in the hills above Gualchos. Comprehensive instructions were provided to find the villa and the check in/out process was brilliant. Gualchos itself it a quiet town and most restaurants are located at Castell de Ferro less than 10km downhill. We were on a cycling holiday so it does mean climbing around 500m back up to the villa along a nice quiet road with good views and decent road surface. Overall, it was a lovely experience and would definitely recommend this villa to stay.

Caroline's house is perfect for family vacations. Wonderful view (mountains and ocean) well equiped, quiet... my children were sad to leave !

A few friends and I came to Matthew’s place to celebrate our birthday. We had a magical time. Only downside was wish we could have stayed longer. The house was not only STUNNING (somehow truly better than the photos) but it was homey, well stocked, and very comfortable. We had a blast exploring the local towns and Matthew’s recommendations were helpful and very thorough. You can tell they enjoy hosting. He and the house manager were also very responsive and kind. Definitely recommend staying for at least 6 or 7 days as 4 was not nearly long enough.
