Great place with lot of space and room. Lot of space for cars and close by services. The owner was responsive and helpful.

Check-in was easy and can be done at any time. The place is super nice and equipped with everything. Sauna, fireplace, smart TV, snowshoes, just everything is here. Tero responds quickly and gives helpful tips for activities in the surrounding area. Absolutely recommended! We would book this place again anytime.

Amazing accommodation - I would 100% recommend When looking to visit Lapland, we looked through all the normal areas, but after much research we decided that Ruka had everything we wanted and was far less commercial than Rovaniemi. My two boys wanted a chalet in the middle of some woods with plenty of snow, I wanted somewhere with great road access and that felt like we was in the middle of nowhere. This accommodation ticked all our boxes and more, this place was truly an amazing dream. From a location point of view it was amazing, 10 minutes drive from the ski resort, 5 minutes drive from the husky park, 10 minutes from a lidl and the reindeer farm was on the door step. but it felt so remote so location was perfect. Accommodation - my kids loved it, very big spacious, nice and warm and had lots of snow, it really is probably the best air b&b accommodation we have ever used, Oh and the Sauna was a great added bonus. Added bonus We got to see the Northern lights very night.

Had a lovely stay! Great location near the lake and Tapani gave us some great recommendations for places to visit. Would propose to make the Wifi a bit more stable for people like me who want to work from the cottage. A blanket and pillow or two for the sofa would add some cosiness. Anyway, lovely cottage!

Good location nearby Ruka village. Peaceful place. Building is newish, very neat & functioning. Wifi password didn't work with any of the visible wifi networks & wifi network was not specified in the house book.

This apartment was amazing. We really appreciated it. It is very modern and clean and very close to the nature. All the furniture and equipments are very high quality. I was happy for the car charger. My wife really enjoyed the fireplace with a lot of wood. We were lucky, because we saw the Northern light from our bed. The Ruka’s ski resort is also nice. It is highly recommended and we would like to come back in the future. The apartment is much better than what you see on the pictures. Thank you for everything!

The stay at the cabin was wonderful, the time at the cabin was excellent, pleasant and relaxing after days full of activity. We were always happy to return to the cabin. The location is excellent, next to the lake that is frozen in winter and you can walk on it. We loved walking there at sunset. The infrastructure in the cabin is excellent, the kitchen is well equipped and everything you need is there. Thank you very much for a wonderful vacation and we were very happy to visit and stay at the cabin.

Very good stay. The host replies quickly. Easy access at any time. Location is ideal literally in front of the ski slopes. Apartment is good, you can park right in front. Don't forget your bed linens and towels as it's not included, and you need to clean everything when you leave as there is no house keeping. We were aware of it (it's mentionned on Airbnb page so it's not a surprise). That's how you get a good price for an apartment in front of the ski slopes and it's worth it! Will stay again if we come back.

Very nice apartment! I have been stayng a lot in different palces in Finland in last 4 years, this apartment was for sure best quality for the similar money. The owner responded qucikly and was flexible! Highly recommended!

Tommi has a nice, functional apartment and with a traditional sauna available in addition! Read the instructions before arrival, indeed AirBnb does not give exactly the right address but Tommi specifies this in the check-in procedure. Responsive and nice hotel.

Peaceful surroundings, almost just sounds of nature. Beautifully decorated with good taste, a small compact cottage with everything you need. Also a deck and yard plantations. A log sauna building on the beach, is also the eye, made with skill. Pricey but for a reason.

The villa swamp is a stunning, museum-like haven of peace and nature. Hunting land can be found nearby and you can really enjoy your vacation in peace. Carrying water and no-electricity is suitable for this place. Alex is great hosts and ready to help if needed. Everything went just as planned.

We stayed at this accommodation for 3 nights. From our 2 week trip this was our favourite accommodation! We witnessed the aurora 3 nights in a row! The area is so private we had the opportunity to take amazing photos with the aurora right over cabin! The accommodation was the most gorgeous and had an amazing log burner which made it cosy! Big open windows for the most amazing views! Super warm! Amazing facilities in kitchen and amazing shower. super comfy bed! We didn't use sauna but looked amazing. The road up to cabin was fine just need to take care. We would absolutely return and recommend to others and if we do a trip to finland again would most certainly stay here again! Just amazing!! X

We liked Ulla's place so much that we would have preferred to move in here. The cabin was clean, well equipped (except for sheets/towels, these are to be brought!) and had a fantastic view of the water. Ulla herself was very friendly in contact and the check-in was uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back.

A well equipped and cozy chalet in a beautiful location. We had a very nice stay for 4 nights together as a couple and enjoyed our time a lot. The communication was very nice, friendly, helpful and fast. The description and tips for the apartment about usage of the fireplace, sauna,… were very good and made getting comfortable in the chalet easy. During our stay the outside temperature dropped to -15 degrees but it was always nice and warm inside because of the good heating system (we didn’t even need to use the fireplace). The house, the sauna and also the connecting ways between them and the parking spot had very good and beautiful lighting. So even at night in the snow you had a clear view of the paths to walk. Also to mention is how happy we were with the location. It was a very private and peaceful feeling we had. We had the luck to see some beautiful long sunsets from the cabin, wake up with a beautiful view and to see intense northern lights when standing on the frozen lake

Very nice place, if you want to have a vacation in complete silence and no neighbors within a few hindered meters. We've bin there in January when it was - 30°C at one day. Spectacular polar lights and planet / star watching. Best seen standing on the frozen lake. The electrical Sauna can realistically give room to three people the one with the oven maybe for four - if you're planning on going with 6 guests in the saune simultaneously. All in all, very cozy place. The heat pump combined with the electrical heaters are getting the house above 20°C even in the coldest winter days. The WiFi has a reliable speed of 25 MBits. Even though one from the south would assume otherwise, you can drive directly to the house even with a very small car. They all have spikes in winter from the car rental and we had no problems reaching the house - no rental of a big pick up truck neccesary. We will gladly go there again someday in the future!

You can only report positive things about staying at Salme's place. She was always easily accessible, tried to help where she could and in case of problems she also stopped by the house immediately to help you. The house is not big but super well furnished and has all the basic amenities you need for a few relaxing days whether in summer or winter. Clear recommendation!

We had a great stay at Petri’s place. Communication was always fast and reliable, and the accommodation met our expectations. Everything went smoothly. We’d be happy to stay again in the future!
