Villa Palmeira was an exceptional stay and I highly recommend it. Agus looked after our needs with a smile and organised daily massages, a snorkeling tour, shopping trips and more for our group. We will absolutely be coming back! Additional information that is not in the other reviews: 1. A 10L filtered water bottle is hooked up to a machine. It is safe to drink. 2. The staff know how to prepare fruits, vegetables and salad. We ate a LOT of fresh salads and did not get sick. 3. Expect to see animals around the villa including small snakes, crabs, lizards (which sound like they are quacking), dogs and cats. 4. Agus will book with local groups – meaning you will get the most bang for your buck AND experience the greatest hospitality Bali has to offer. 5. Alcohol is expensive. Customs allows 1L per person to be brought into Bali. 6. Treat the staff well and they will treat you well! Agus loves Baileys and Whiskey. We tipped $50000 - $100000 IDR ($5AUD - $10AUD) for various services.

Lovely accommodation and great spot not too far from everything. The villa caretakers were very friendly and polite as well as the security overnight.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and luxurious, perfectly located—close to Ubud and Tegalalang, yet far enough to feel immersed in nature. The surroundings were stunning, offering a true nature experience. There’s also a small shop conveniently nearby. Highly recommended! Doni and the crew were amazing hosts! Special thanks to Mrs Astri who took care of us from the moment we came!

Great location, great place, great host. Quiet and private in the backstreets of Penestanan with good cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Place was spacious and well equipped (kitchen, bathroom). Wayan was very friendly, responsive and flexible

This apartment was amazing, it forms part of a hotel and everything is right on your doorstep. You can use all of the hotel facilities and the beach is a 1 min hotel shuttle bus ride away. The staff at the hotel are so helpful and friendly. They have a money exchange at reception too which is handy. There are loads and loads of restaurants and a good supermarket if you leave the hotel out reception and turn left down the first road out. There is also the Bali Collection a 5 minute walk away which is loads of shops and some more restaurants. There is the Devdan Show at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre too which is walkable. From 10pm the hotel is very peaceful so you get a very good nights sleep. Your aparment is cleaned every 3 days by the hotel. This was one of our best airbnb stays ever, my son did not want to leave. From the moment Ketut picked me up until I left, he treated me like family, always helpful, warm and friendly, villa was immaculately clean, super comfortable bed, beautiful decor, surrounded by native plants, river in the background, amazing home cooked breakfasts,.close to pyramids of chi, thanks so.micj for everything Ketut and family 🙏

We had an amazing time staying at Villa Umah. The villa is stunningly beautiful. It looks better in person and is a slice of paradise. My family of 6 had plenty of room. Ngakan welcomed us and made us feel at home instantly. His team Kadek and Julie made us an amazing breakfast every morning and the villa was cleaned every day. The Ubud area is incredibly green and natural. You can relax here or for more adventurists people you have access to ATVs white water rafting Bali swings and zip lines. The shopping is amazing also in the area and great food is everywhere. What ever your style Villa Umah is the perfect place to base yourselves for an unforgettable Bali experience.

My and my friends had an amazing stay! Loved everything about the house from the begining! So beautiful, spacious and clean. Besides that, Made and his team made sure we feel welcome, they helped us with tranpostation from the airport, with our luggage, the breakfast was very good and any help we needed the reply was super fast! The staff was always friendly and smily to us. We will definitely go back Pondok Selamat Villa when we go back to Ubud.

LOVED my stay here! the room is cozy & had everything i needed + more. so nice to have a mini kitchen. the location is perfect - next door to alchemy (3 min walk) & also tucked away from the main road so you don't get all that noise. my favorite part was being surrounded by the garden / gorgeous plants & trees. loved hearing the birds in the morning & the frogs at night 😍😍 the staff was super helpful if i had a question or needed something. i sprained my toe while exploring ubud & they recommended a nearby doctor which was super helpful 🙏🏾 i wish i'd found this spot at the start of my 2 months in bali bc i'd definitely stay longer. will be back when i return to bali in a few months!! thank you! ♥️🌿

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Katana Villa. Leslie is such a friendly and helpful host with very good communication. The caretakers for the villa are the most genuine and lovely people and they really added to our enjoyment with the friendliness and ability to help with an organise nearly every aspect of our time there. I would definitely recommend having Eka prepare dinners! She makes a wide variety of delicious dishes. We ended up having almost all of our dinners at the villa as it was so easy and convenient. The villa itself was great. The pool and waterslide is a must have and it makes it a very comfy place to hang out and relax between various adventures around the area. It is such a beautiful place. I absolutely loved the traditional style of building with all the wood and rock and very unique features! You will love your time and you will be well looked after by the staff. Amed is a lovely balance of peacefulness and access to adventures and activities!

What an amazing place. From when I booked the airbnb, Citra was so fast in responding, very friendly and accommodating. Everything that the airbnb described was exactly what you get, even the photos were spot on. You won't be disappointed. The first thing we did as soon as we checked in was the swing - amazing photos and videos and plus you get 25 percent off!! Much affordable than the other "swing" places. We also had the floating breakfast and basically had the entire swimming pool overlooking the beautiful lush greenery scene to ourselves. It was beautiful. Conveniently located to Cretya Ubud, rice fields, and many more. Definitely recommend. And the final touch - Citra gave us souvenir mug with our personalised photo on it!!

Huge private villa/unit upstairs/downstairs. Bedding and pillows super comfortable and a massive TV. I was very very comfortable there. Aircon works well. View to the shared area with pool. Large bathroom with downstairs toilet. I would definitely come back here. Slow 20min walk to supermarket. Across the road is a really great restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner as well as two mini marts. Villa is up a narrow alley way not far from a main road so very quiet and peaceful.

harta’s and family is a nice person, and the villa condition is good and clean. but the location is hard to reach, and paid parking area

This was our 2nd time at Made’s house. We love this area and home. Sayu is super sweet and super responsive. We enjoyed our stay ( for families with toddlers … u can put ur toddler to bed and take the monitor to have a drink lol .. restaurants are that close but the lane is very quiet )

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The villa itself was well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and all the amenities we needed. The location was peaceful and private, providing a great escape from the city. What really made our stay special was the host Stephane. He is very hands-on and approachable, always quick to respond and offer helpful tips. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are well-kept and always clean (they have a cleaning staff who come 6x a week). Really love the pool and the outdoor area. The housekeeper, Bli Nengah, was very helpful and very attentive. Overall, we love it!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Nyoman’s property, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, Nyoman was incredibly helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed and providing fantastic local recommendations. The property itself was beautiful, impeccably clean, and perfectly situated. Whether you're looking to explore or just relax, the location couldn't be better—close to all the key attractions and Canggu beach, about 15-20 mins from Finn’s and atlas.. but still peaceful and quiet at night. I will definitely be returning on my next visit.

This was such an incredible get away in a great location! The pool is beautiful and I miss watching the birds flying from tree to free! Incredible view and you can even see the mountain from the upstairs on a clear morning. Stayed for a long while and they made me feel so at home and even freshened up the sheets and towels! In walking distance of the main Ubud streets but loved this location too because it’s not in a super busy part of town! Highly recommend! I was there over Christmas and they even got me a sweet Christmas gift! The heart of this family is just so big. Already miss it!

Great place to stay, we had a lovely time next to the pool, the breakfast organised was amazing, cleaned every day, host answered questions very quickly and even went and bought us a bag of ice! Fabulous

We were well greeted with cold drinks upon arrival. The villa was clean and the housekeepers were extremely helpful. We could choose our daily bfast from the menu which was helpful. The place was clean and everything was working well in the house. The location may not be as convenient as Kuta and Seminyak town,as the villa is located a little on the outskirts, making tours a little more lengthier with traffic. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of Bali, this villa is highly recommended! The villa is big and the bedrooms are spacious. Only noted there were termites on the bar counter that appeared late night. A gecko had appeared too. Otherwise, the staffs including the manager and the driver were very helpful! As we had to shorten our stay due to an emergency at home, Yuli and another staff helped me to take care of my infant/fold my washed clothes while we were sorting out our return flight and packing. They were very accommodating!enjoyed our stay n hope to come back!
