Once in a while you find a very special place which resonates with every fibre of your being. This is one such place. Simple and rustic yet with everything you could need. Stunning views of what feels like an enormous frozen lake surrounded by trees. The location feels remote but it’s only 35 minutes from the lovely town of Porvoo and an hour from Helsinki. This place holds a deep stillness which breathes peace and contentment into the present moment. Jonathan’s a lovely helpful host, warm and friendly. The sauna and hot tub are of a high quality and workmanship. This is the place I’ll never forget.

The cottage is in a beautiful location right by the sea. A group of six adults and six children was very comfortable here in the winter weather. The sauna is a convenient way to take a dip in the sea or bubbles. The cottage is clean and the equipment level is good. Definitely interested in visiting here in the summer as well.

We had a great time over a long weekend at Ulf's place. The cabin was cosy, well equipped and we really liked the peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The löyly in the Sauna was excellent, the baby gates helpful and the fireplace a great bonus.

Clean, convenient, functional, quiet, functional internet, and TV. 1st world problem, there was no kettle, the kettle and stove were. We found a coffee maker and coffee. The shower worked and the floor stayed dry. The bed was good, the couch was comfortable.
