Vacation rentals in Kosgama

The best property during our stay in Sri Lanka. Wilson was extremely helpful too, explained all the functionalities of the house and also guided us about what is there in the locality. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Amiable hosts, Rangit and Kusal are very supportive in all manners. Pros - 1. Private and calm neighbors 2. Security officers are around the corner in night (We parked two of our cars away from the home, nothing to complain) 3. Clean and comfy bedrooms (Owners asked us to change bed linen after 7 days, got fresh ones) 4. All listed amnesties were there Cons - 1. Bathrooms need some renovations (Water drains are not working 100%) 2. Water pressure can improve 3. Can add more kitchen utensils (pots an pans and knife....)

The scenery out of the front balcony was amazing. Our two young sons loved watching the trains go by down below. There's a Cargills store downstairs on the same building which was very handy. A restaurant was also there with very good selection of Indian food. Mt Lavinia beach is just 5 minutes down the road on a tuk tuk. One thing of concern was the apartment immediately below us is currently undergoing renovations and there were couple of days where the work was being done during the day which was a bit unbearable. However the hosts were very proactive in informing management to put the work on hold until our departure. Another slight concern is the noise from trains specially in the early morning when we are still in bed. Coming from a very quiet neighborhood, we found this a little challenging, although the trains are also a plus point, specially if you have kids as it keep them entertained We felt very safe in this location and would recommend to our friends. Would visit again!

Our stay at Cobalt Villa was wonderful. The house itself is beautiful - architectural design, spacious living area and rooms, tasteful furnishings and serene outlook in the middle of nature, every view from the house is something special, beautiful trees and monkeys playing. It’s really something special. There is a full time host (Aruj) and chef (Charles) who serve beautiful breakfasts and also assisted us by cooking a wonderful Sri Lankan dinner (we just had to bring the groceries), and Aruj was also incredibly helpful with arranging laundry and also seeking medical assistance for one of us during the stay. It’s not ‘self catering’ it is a hosted villa. The town is about 15 minutes drive away for supplies, everything you need is there. Was a highlight of our trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Located away from the main road so it was very peaceful and quiet. The master bedroom has air conditioning which was a lifesaver due to how warm Kalutara was during our stay. Other bedrooms have ceiling fans. Overall a very clean and spacious property. Thanks for having us!

Simply, it was our home for a short period of time. Everything was so perfect that we didn't even want to make a call to get clarification. Genuka is a very friendly person, and from the moment we placed the reservation, he was carefully concerned about what we wanted. And his father, who handed over the key to us, was also a very gentle and professional person who explained everything in the house clearly. The neighborhood is very relaxing, calm, and safe. There's a grocery store very close to the house where you can purchase almost all the things you need to cook (the house has a nice kitchen that includes all the related items to make your own meals). And the Galenigama highway interchange is much closer, so you can access most of the places very quickly. So Genuka's property is highly recommended; it is a nice, clean, safe, and calm place to relax and achieve your requirements closer to the main cities. Good Luck! 

This is an extension of my previous stay. Good apartment and convenient location.

This is a cozy, nicely decorated and well-maintained apartment. It has stunning west coast sunsets that you can enjoy from the balcony or rooftop pool area. The room has a wonderful ocean view and lots of natural light which makes it bright and airy. The building is secure, offering 24/7 security and a gated parking lot. The location is perfect for morning walks along the famous Golden Mile Beach, with plenty of great restaurant and pub options nearby. It is very close to Galle Road and a five minute walk to the beach. We had an amazing experience, and the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Our check-in was easy and anything that we needed, Thivakar made sure he took care of promptly. We highly recommend and would stay again!
