Vacation rentals with lake access in Kochi

It is a great place to stay at. Nice spacious apartment with parking and great view of the bay from balcony. It has many restaurants just outside the apartment complex down on road within walking distance. To sum it up I would say photos don't do justice to the apartment as the apartment is much more beautiful and spacious than the pictures which owner has displayed. It was really comfortable stay and I would recommend everybody to stay their as it's a experience on its own and I would stay here only if I am back to Kochi again.

A Surreal Backwater Stay Our stay at Tern’s Nest was magical. The beautiful property, set along the serene backwaters of Kerala, offered surreal views that changed with the weather. Watching local fishermen pass by, happily posing for our cameras, was a unique highlight. The food, prepared by Chef Sheeba, was outstanding—especially the seafood—and the fresh coconut water was a delightful touch. The hospitality of the host and caretaking team was exceptional; they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The host even offered us extra time beyond our booking, which we truly appreciated. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views, amazing food, and warm hospitality, Tern’s Nest is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Theera has one of the best beach views anyone could ask for; the property is located right on the beach and we enjoyed the music of the waves crashing on the rocks through the night, leading to the most peaceful sleep. The property is large enough for at least eight persons to stay comfortably. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and will be back during the monsoon to watch the rain, the backwaters, the sea and the sunrise and sunset at Theera. Not to forget, we loved the friendly Blackie, the dog that stayed outside the room and guarded us through our stay!

Fabin's place is truly a 5-star gem, and Fabin is truly a 5-star superhost. What an incredible place. A very special house with lots of character and beautiful energy. Very relaxed, quiet surroundings with a beautiful view, but not too far from the hustle & bustle of Fort Kochi etc. Fabin arranges the transportation and everything else you'll need. I recently stayed at Padma Sadma, The place surrounded by lush nature with soothing sounds of birds 🐦and crickets , making my stay peaceful and rejuvenating. What made it truly special were the hosts, Jyothi ma'am and Krishna sir. They were incredibly welcoming—despite my late-night arrival, they greeted me with a warm smile ☺ and a refreshing juice 🥤. Throughout my stay, they were always available, responding to my questions with enthusiasm and kindness. Their care felt like being with family ❤️, offering advice and conversations that were comforting and insightful. A highlight of my visit was spending quality time with Krishna sir and discussing valuable life lessons 🎓. I left feeling enriched and inspired. The Puzhayoram Food Court 🍽️ right across the compound made meals convenient and delicious, so I never had to worry about food. Padma Sadma is a true gem 💎, combining natural beauty 🌿, heartfelt hospitality, and unforgettable connections. Padma Sadma truly rocks! ✨

Mukesh and his family are very supportive. This Airbnb hosted room has all the facilities. I have to say that the stay here is very good. In addition, this room hosted in the heart of Kochi is very close to the metro station and all the facilities that can attract tourists are very close.

I had an amazing time staying in this heritage home! The place had such great vibes and a wonderful ambience that made it feel special. I loved the collection of books and games available; it was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time. The home was comfortable and welcoming, making my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and cozy experience. And Amal have a great collection books also.

The stay was really good and as expected. Ample space to enjoy with a nice backwater view.

We stayed at Annie's place for a couple of nights after our Retreat ended at Divine Retreat Centre. It's a lovely compact studio house on a private lake which is surrounded by the back waters of Kumbalanghi. Beautiful, serene, peaceful... you are one with nature with no disturbances away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. This was the perfect place for us to just gather our thoughts, introspect and chill out before we returned to the busy schedule of our lives. We enjoyed the local cuisine, the caretaker Ashiq cooked Karimeen fish the 1st night and got us local breakfast. Do visit the restaurant 'Kumbalagni nights' for some yummy food. We had fried fish which was farmed there itself. Annie is a wonderful host, She got us some hot, crispy dal vada the evening we arrived. She came along to show us the way to the place. She recommended a couple of restaurants to eat and on the last day even got the Uber right to the place as the app was not picking our location.
