House vacation rentals in Knox County

Just an absolutely gorgeous home and property. We were cursed with some bad weather, which might have really impacted our enjoyment at a lesser locale, but the historic home with all of its fireplaces and the perfect tranquility achieved looking out at the chickens and geese running around the backyard just made the weather woes evaporate. As one of us said sitting out back under the umbrella looking out on the yard "I feel like I'm living in the Calm app." A great escape for us city-dwellers. Tony & Scott were great hosts, making themselves virtually invisible unless requested (more so than necessary, frankly. ) The home was so clean and beautifully appointed. They might be relatively new to hosting but they are already all-stars. We hope to visit again.

This was a nice and relaxing stay for our family. The house is clean and cozy. The pool exceeded our expectations. Our kids spent so much time splashing around. The owners were always responsive both before and during our stay. Highly recommend for a nice, quiet getaway!

We had the most fun and relaxing weekend here, enjoying the pool and hot tub, taking in the gorgeous surroundings, and sharing meals in the comfortable and homey kitchen and dining areas. Char was a wonderful host! She clearly communicated instructions, provided suggestions for restaurants and activities nearby, and made us feel welcome in her home. I would highly recommend staying here for a gathering with family/friends!

Everything was perfect, no complaints the hot tub was really nice to relax and the staff on the campgrounds were super friendly.

The place was super clean and just what we hoped for and expected. Only complaint and I guess it’s really not a complaint is we felt like there should have been an extra shower in the bathroom up stairs. We loved the convenience of it and so close to everything we like.

Matthew's place was probably the best maintained and best appointed Airbnb I have stayed in, and I've stayed in many. The house is very large, lovely, functional, and was spotlessly clean. You can tell that Matthew takes his responsibility as a host extremely seriously. The massive theater and workout rooms were a big benefit. The mud room was great to hold all the coats of shoes of a big group. The house was a great spot for a family gathering with lots of hang out space and a large dining room. The outdoor space looked lovely and is probably fabulous in the warmer months. Some (mild) street noise could be heard from a couple of the bedrooms, but this didn't bother us. This is our new home away from home in Columbus!

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The house is in a convenient location that also happens to be beautiful, on the Muskingum River, with hills rising to the east and west. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds and couches comfortable, the house immaculate, and the hosts responsive to our requests. No complaints whatsoever.

We had a wonderful stay at Jesse’s property—it was exactly what we needed for a getaway. The house was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with plenty of rooms, beds, and large bathrooms to accommodate everyone comfortably. The amenities were excellent, and the location was perfect for a relaxing retreat. Communication was fine, and everything was well-organized. We especially appreciated how spacious and aesthetically pleasing the home was. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this property to others!

This beautiful retreat in the countryside felt like a blissful New England getaway in the middle of Ohio. The cottage was quaint and quiet and peaceful. Nan is the perfect host !

We are bikers traveling the Ohio to Erie trail. Hillbilly Hilton was perfect. Great location near the bike trail. Walking distance to great local eatery/bar. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Washer and dryer. Shower/bath plenty of hot water. Great HVAC. Carport perfect for parking bikes. Excellent communication with Mike. Great place made for a great trip!

My boys stayed at The Burrow for a weekend and it was amazing! John was an exceptional host and the airbnb was very cozy and clean! It met all expectations and we will be staying here next time we are in town! 100% recommend if you are in the area!

Very peaceful place

This is a perfect place for a family get together. The three sitting areas and two eating areas, and the cozy bedrooms are perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed. Vince and Amy are quick to respond. We only wish the weather had been warmer, and we would have enjoyed the patio and outside space. It was charming to learn about the family history of the home. Thank you Vince and Amy -- for your hospitality, and for your service.

This place was a great place to stay in Centerburg and well worth the trip.

Drew’s home is in a beautiful setting and very quiet. It is short walking distance to Kenyon. We loved the natural light, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen. A very easy place to stay if visiting Gambier.

Booking was all that was listed. Very convenient to get back and forth to Kenyon university campus which was main objective of visit.

Great for a girl’s weekend! Had plenty of space to do our own thing, but were able to gather together for group things, too. Everyone already voted to go back!
